She was born December 18, 1925 in Green Bay to the late Felix and Barbara (Verheyden) Watermolen. Doris married Robert Knapp on December 12, 1945 in Green Bay. He preceded her in death in 1971. She was employed at the Prange-Way store from when it opened on Green Bay's East side, and remained as an employee for over 25 years until her retirement. Doris was a longtime member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish.

    She is survived by her three daughters: Carol Buerschinger; Cathy (Bob) Wozniak; Debbie (Joe) Theisen, all of Green Bay; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; two brothers, Ray (Jeanette) Watermolen and Gene Watermolen, all of Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Francis Watermolen.

    Friends may call at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 645 S. Irwin Avenue after 10 a.m. Monday, until the time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00a.m. Monday at the church with Fr.   • Note: Raphael "Ray" Watermolen, 87, Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Ray was born in Green Bay on October 18, 1929, to the late Felix and Barbara (Verheyden) Watermolen. On October 23, 1954, he married the love of his life, Jeanette Pichette, and they shared 62 years together. Ray worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed many outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and gardening; along with his love for woodworking. Ray was a family man, cherishing the time he got to spend with his grandchildren and family.

    Ray is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeanette; their children, Renee (Casey) John, Pittsville, Mark (Tina) Watermolen, De Pere, Mike (special friend Lori), Green Bay, Mary (Pat) VandenHeuvel, De Pere, Ann (Andy) Krysiak, Green Bay, and Paulette (Bob) Mach; grandchildren, Alyssa (Mark) Loveland, Rachael, Mariah, and Austin John, Carlie and Kayla Watermolen, Nathan and Bailey Watermolen, Bryce and Conner VandenHeuvel, Zach, Ben, Madalyn, and Megan Krysiak, and Alexandra and Samantha Mach. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren, Louisa and Tessa Loveland; brother, Eugene Watermolen; sisters-in-law, Ruby Pichette, and Rosie Pichette; along with many nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin and Francis; sister, Doris; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elroy, Katie, Clifford, Edward, Raymond, Margaret, and Thomas.

    Friends may gather at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Sunday, March 19, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Parish Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Rev. William Hoffman will preside.
