    Mary was born March 3, 1939, in Combined Locks, the daughter of the late Herman and Martha (Verhagen) Smaxwell. She was united in marriage to Ronald J. Lamers on October 27, 1956. Prior to her retirement, Mary was a realtor and was employed with Homeowners Consultants.

    Survivors include her husband, Ron; four daughters: Sherry (Steve) Harp, Lorri (George) Wagner, Rhonda Lamers and Jean Anthony; her beloved grandchildren whom Mary greatly enjoyed spending time with: Stacey (Tim) Jochimsen, Andrew Harp, Tim Harp, Logan Harp, Jessica Netzel, Brandon Wagner, Mitch Anthony and Brady Anthony; there are four great-granddaughters; two sisters: Dolores Berkholz and Ida Fischer; and Mary is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Randy; and her brothers: Bob and Charlie Verbeten, and Sonny, Vince and Dick Smaxwell.

    The funeral service for Mary will be Friday, September 13, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at the Star of Hope Chapel Mausoleum, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton. Visitation will begin at noon Friday until the hour of the service at Star of Hope Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary's honor may be sent to the Lutheran Social Services Adult Care Center of Appleton or the Alzheimer's Association of Northeast Wisconsin.

    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice, in particular Nicole, Sister Ruth, and Mary's nurse, Tracy; Lutheran Social Services Adult Care Center, especially Anna; her special caregivers, Mary Larimore and her niece Brenda Lamers; and Vicki and Randy Krull, their good neighbors who were always ready to help out at a moments notice.

    Thanks Dad for doing such a wonderful job taking care of Mom. We love you-Sherry, Lorri, Rhonda and Jean.

    Verone Lillian Helen Bellin, age 86, passed away May 12, 2008. She was born on September 19, 1921, in Bear Creek, WI; daughter of the late Gustav and Bertha (lemke) Winter. On September 23, 1944, she married Herman M. Bellin. Herman preceded her in death on December 9, 1973. Verone lived on a farm most of her life and loved to prepare for the upcoming harvest season as well as spending time gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and always looked forward to family reunions.
    She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Ronald) Bitter, Neenah; her son, Rober (special friend Carol) Bellin, Menasha; her grandchildren: Melissa nd Michael Bitter and Adam, Ryan and Abby Bellin; her great-grandson, ZXackary Bitter; and by her sister, Lorena geer, Appleton.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman; brothers and sisters: Martin (Nora) Winter, Albert Winter, Erna (Carl) Bartman, Rosetta Witzke Moes, Clara Kubitz Plier and Cecelia Kluge Kagel; and by a brother-in-law, Donald.
    A memorial service for Verone will bee held on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 1390 Breezewood Lane, Neenah, with the Rev. Richard Frost officiating. Interment has taken place at Highland Mrmorial Park, Appleton. A memorial fund is being established in her name.
