The daughter of Margaret "Marge" (Maternoski) and the late Walter "Wally" Labs was born on February 11, 1965 in Green Bay. On July 13, 1985 she married Pat Karner at St. John's Lutheran Church in De Pere. Jane enjoyed attending all of her children's sporting events, running, and traveling. She had a passion for finding adventure and was always up to trying something new.

    Jane will be deeply missed by her husband, Pat; her children, Sarah (Eric) Applebey, Tyler (fiancé Lindsay Wall) Karner; her mother, Marge Labs; siblings, Cindy (Don) Binsfeld, Patti (Henry) Willems, John (Sue) Labs, Sheryl (John) Edinger, Jim (Helen) Labs, Linda (Dave) Johnson, Bonnie (Bruce) Bain, Jeff (Jenny) Labs; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her grand puppy, Lucy Marie.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Labs; father-in-law, Robert Karner; as well as her grandparents.

    Friends and family are encouraged to gather at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1700 Lost Dauphin Drive, De Pere beginning at 9:00am. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Pastor John Czarnota officiating.     Bill is survived by his wife Leona, his children; David (Linda) Rabe, De Pere, Patti (Mark) Van Donsel, De Pere, and Dan (Jane) Rabe, Lakewood. His grandchildren, William and Sydney also survive. Bill is also survived by his brother; Don Rabe, Arizona, his sister Clara Hetue, Milwaukee, his sisters in law; Hazel Karner, Agnes Karner, Blanche Hansen, and Agnes Radamacher.

    His parents, 2 brothers, Clifford, and Edmund, and 2 sisters , Margeret and Marion preceded him in death. Bill's brother in laws, Richard, Robert and Norbert Karner and sister in law, Delores Rabe also preceded him.

    Friends may call after 9:00am Wednesday, January 8, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Dr. De Pere, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am with Fr.   • Note: Blanche (Laurant) Hansen, 98, Green Bay, passed away on April 9, 2017. Born on February 9, 1919, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Tikalsky) Karner. She married Harold Laurant on February 3, 1940, in Hollandtown, Wis. Blanche went on to marry Milton Hansen March 17, 1973, and he preceded her in death in January of 2000. She worked at Milprint in De Pere for 25 years. Blanche enjoyed playing cards, bowling, bingo, gardening, and traveling. She was very devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

    She is survived by her three children, Deacon John Laurant, Joe (Sue) Laurant, and Alice Laurant; two step-daughters, Janice (Jim) Leschke, and Connie Hansen; seven grandchildren, Lori (Frank) Horkman, Lisa Skaletski, Jodi (Rick) Havlovitz, Dana (Clint) Spejcher, Becky (Don) Rozz, Aaron (Elana) Laurant, Matthew (Courtney) Zarnoth, Jessica Zarnoth; four step-grandchildren, Dale (Cindy) Selner, David (Terry) Leschke, Doris Selner, Amy (Scott Kahle) Leschke-Kahle; 25 great grandchildren; one sister, Leona Rabe; three sisters-in-law, Agnes Karner, Agnes Rademacher, and Hazel Karner; and many other relatives and friends.

    Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, LeeAnn Laurant; three brothers, Norbert Karner, Richard Karner, Robert Karner; one sister and brother-in-law, Virginia (Chris) Carter; one brother-in-law, Bill Rabe; sister-in-law, Florence Haganes; and close friend, Ginny Hayes.

    Visitation at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. He retired from the assembly line at Husco International. He and his wife, Hazel, are charter members of St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha. Rich especially enjoyed boating, camping, woodworking and spending time with his granddaughters.
    He is survived by Hazel, his loving wife of 51 years, and his daughter, Mary Jane (Ron) Wendorf. He was the dearest grandfather of Nicole (Dan) Meschke and Tracey (Ted) Christopherson. Richard also is survived by two great-granddaughters, Kailey and Mackenzy; two sisters, Blanche Hansen and Leona (Bill) Rabe; his brother, Robert (Agnes) Karner; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Norbert Karner, and his sister, Virginia Carter. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. William Catholic Church, Waukesha. Per Richard's request, he was cremated.

    Schley, Mary E.


    Mary E. Schley, formerly of Kaukauna, age 82, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Parkside Care Center. She was born in Green Bay on July 19, 1927, to the late Raymond and Honora (Thebo) DeKeuster. Mary married Myron R. Schley on July 2, 1949, at St. Mary Parish, Kaukauna. Her greatest hobby was spending time with family and friends.

    Mary is survived by her son, Earl J. Schley; grandchildren: Dan Schley and Paula Leazier; great-grandchildren: Storm and Breeanna Schley, Carrie, Corie and Ed Leazier; sisters: Judy Hilliger, Lorraine (Madhav) Gaiha, Kathy Kaczmarek and Barbara (Steve) DePrycker; brother-in-law: Nick Leick; other relatives and friends.

    In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Myron; siblings: Phoebe Leick, Louis, Paul and Raymond DeKeuster Jr.; and brothers-in-law: Norbert Hilliger and Frank Kaczmarek.

    Visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2009, at HOLY CROSS PARISH (309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna) at 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. The Rev. Thomas Pomeroy will officiate.
