    Funeral services for Ervin W. Lemke, 65, of R. 2, DePere, who died Thursday at a Kaukauna hospital following a lengthy illness, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church at Wrightstown in Brown County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the DeWane Funeral Home at Wrightstown after 3 p.m.Sunday.
    Born Sept. 19, 1909, in the Town of Morrison (Brown County), he attended St. Peter School at Hilbert and lived in the Town of Woodville before farming in the Town of Wrightstown in 1941.
    He was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, and served on the building committee, finance committee, board of elders and school board. Survivors include his wife, Agnes; two sons, Alfred with the U.S. Army in West Germany, and Donald at Kiel; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Alice) Voet of Kaukauna; five brothers, Clarence, Shorwood, Rueben and Norbert, both of Manitowoc, and Henry and Wilmer, both of Hilbert; four sisters, Miss Elfrieda, R. 2, Hilbert, Mrs. Oscar (Alma)Becker, Watertown, Mrs. Louis (Anne) Wright, Fullerton, Calif., and Mrs. Harry (Edna) Wiesner, Milwaukee, and eight grandchildren. Three sisters and a grandson preceded in death.

    Mrs. Amanda Nicholls died Wednesday morning at 2:20 o'clock from septicemia.

    Deceased was married twelve years ago to James Nicholls. Her husband and three children-Henry, Walter and a three weeks old baby survive; also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Deno of Woodville, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Otto Doering and Mrs. Charles Buerth of Kaukauna; Mrs. Nels Rasmussen, Woodville; John of Milwaukee; Alma of Kaukauna; William, Hugo, Gertrude, Agnes at home.

    The funeral will be held from the German Reformed church Saturday at two o'clock P.M. Interment will be at the Union cemetery.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Buerth, 87, of 514 Whitney Street were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. John W. Mattek officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

    Mrs. Bureth died Thursday morning, February 2, following a brief illness.

    The former Mary Deno was born February 25, 1890 in the Town of Harrison and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and the Women's Aid Society of the church.

    She is survived by her husband, Charles; a brother, John W. Deno of Kaukauna; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Schubring of Kaukauna, Mrs. Agatha Buelow of Route 1, Menasha, and Mrs. Agnes Lemke of Route 2, De Pere; three grandchildren, Mrs. James (Marilyn) Hartjes of Kaukauna, Mrs. James (Joan) Driessen of Appleton, and Duane Buerth of Milwaukee; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters twins, Heidi and Heather; five nieces and five nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Walter, and a great-grandson, Scott Driessen.

    Pallbearers were David and Philip Foxgrover, Donald Buelow, Ralph and Marvin Doering and Arnold Breitung.

    The Fargo Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

    Lifetime Resident Dies

    Charles F. Buerth, 96, a lifelong resident of this city, and an employee of Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company for 35 years died Tuesday afternoon, February 21, following a brief illness. His residence was at 514 Whitney Street.

    He was born May 15, 1881 in the Town of Ellington, Outagamie County, and had worked at Thilmany until his retirement on May 31, 1951. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

    Survivors are three grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a niece, Mrs. Walter (Esther) Rohde of Appleton; and three nephews, Clarence Buerth of Chicago, Ill., Richard Buerth of Jacksonville, Florida, and Louis Buerth of Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, on February 2, 1978, a son, Walter; and a great-grandson, Scott Driessen.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. John W. Mattek officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

    Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today (Thursday) and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

    death. He is survived by his wife, Elenora;

    Cha of Rt.l, Menasha, and Kevin and
    his wife, Joan of Kimberly; a granddaughter,
    Sarah. Funeral services will
    be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at St. John
    Lutheran Church in Woodville with the
    Rev. Alfred Hertler officiating. Interment
    will be in the parish cemetery.

Survivors include three sons: Denis, Route 1 Menasha; Dale, Kaukauna; and Kevin, Sherwood; four brothers: Leonard, Hilbert; Reinhard, Porter; Gerhard, San Antonio, Texas; and Fred, Route 1, Hilbert; a sister, Mrs. Ben Duchow, Chilton; three grandchildren: Sara, Michelle and Heather Deno; her father-in-law, John W. Deno, Kaukauna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester, in July 1974. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John Lutheran Church, Woodville, with the Rev. Alfred K.
