She was preceded in death by her husband Michael on October 31, 1976 and a daughter Mrs. Bob (Corrine) Dorschner. Funeral services will be on Monday, 9:30 a.m. at the Laemmrich Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Reverend Roy Geenen officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and there will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

    Kempf, Gustave A. "Gus"


    Gustave A. Kempf, age 83, of Poy Sippi, died on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac. Gus died in the Christian faith and looks forward to his resurrection with our Savior Jesus Christ. He was born on October 28, 1925, in the Town of Bloomfield, Wisconsin, the son of the late Gustave and Ida (Draeger) Kempf. Gus served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. On June 8, 1946, Gus married Mildred Martin in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death on May 25, 1998. Gus was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, where he was a former elder. He was employed by American Can for many years, before retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Papermakers Union and enjoyed fishing, bowling, deer hunting, wintering in Texas and tending to his apple orchard.

    Gus is survived by a daughter, Gloria (David) Antinoja, Neenah; a son, Mike (Sue) Kempf, Neenah; six grandchildren, Jeanine (Bill) Stadler, Thomas (Jodi) Antinoja, Kevin Kempf, Kenneth (Jessy) Kempf, Tara (Bob) Aykens; nine great-grandchildren, Timothy, Angela, Morgan, Owen, Aubrey Riley, Michaela, Carter and Alexis; a brother, Arnold (Lila) Kempf, Waupaca; a sister, Edna Zahn, Sheboygan; and a sister-in-law, Clarice Kempf, West Bloomfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Gus was preceded in death by a son, Ted.

    Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi. Rev. William Meier will officiate. Burial will be in East Bloomfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for Emmaus Lutheran Church.

    Dorschner, Robert J.


    Robert Dorschner, 80, Neenah, was called home to be with his loving wife Monday, November 2, 2009. He was born November 25, 1928, in the Town of Harrison, to the late Joseph and Marie (Styvenberg) Dorschner. Robert was united in marriage to Corrine Martin on June 1, 1950, and she preceded him in death December 17, 1983. Robert loved her until his death. Robert was employed by American National Can for 38 years until his retirement August 1, 1989. He loved to work with wood and metal and he always had a project going. Fishing and hunting were two of his passions. Bob was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

    Bob is survived by his children: Linda (Fred) Krablean, Debra (Pat) Janssen, Robert (Kathy) Dorschner, Gary (Kathy) Dorschner, Bill (Nancy) Haga; grandchildren: Tina (Todd) Bruce, Fred (Sarah) Krablean, Bobbie (Troy) Hoag, Wesley Heider, Brad, Bill and Brent Haga, Brian (Crystal) Hansen, Eric Hansen, Ron (Michelle) Meyer, Jamie (Kelly) Hintzelman, BJ and Matt Dorschner, Miranda (Brody) Hietpas, Brant Janssen; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Marjorie Hughes, Helen Ryan, Karen (Chuck) Briggs; a sister-in-law, Jan (Skip) Guernsey.

    Bob was also preceded in death by two daughters: Mary Dorschner and Diana Haga; a son, Joseph Dorschner; two sisters: Fern and Rose Dorschner; four brothers: James, Ronald, Richard and Roger Dorschner; three brothers-in-law: Merville Ryan, Earl Heller, Leo Hughes; a sister-in-law, Nancy Dorschner.

    Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2009, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, with Rev. Paul Holte officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Friday until the time of the service.
