Biography

  • Birth: Terry A Kees was born on May 18, 1956 in Chilton, Calumet Co, Wisconsin.
  • Death: He died on January 14, 2014, at age 57, in Pewaukee, Waukesha Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Terry A. "Tub" Kees, age 57, of Chilton, died following complications from a stroke on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the LifeCare Hospital in Pewaukee. He was born May 18, 1956 in Chilton, son of Carol (Zastrow) Kees and the late Cletus Kees.

He was a member of the Brothertown Fishing Club and loved the great outdoors. This suited him well because Tub enjoyed over 30 years of working at Heritage Orchard on the East shore of Lake Winnebago with Vern, Adam & the "girls". Lake Winnebago also supplied him with many sturgeon over the years and the orchard was home to the deer and turkeys he loved to hunt. One of his favorite past times was to cruise the back roads looking for deer.

Survivors include his mother: Carol; his brothers: Glenn "Punk" (Charlotte) Kees of Chilton, Richard (Peggy) Kees of Chilton, Wayne "Butch" (Kathy) Kees of Chilton; and a sister-in-law: Catherine Kees. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Tub was preceded in death by his father: Cletus; and a brother: Bryon.

Funeral service will be at 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 4:45 pm.

Memorials given in the name of Terry "Tub" Kees are greatly appreciated.

"Tub and his family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and ICU nurses at Theda Clark in Neenah, and Dr. Sidhu and the nurses at LifeCare Hospital in Pewaukee for the care and compassion shown during this difficult time."

And the Lord broke for the Woodchuck and said, "I have an orchard that needs tending to." And he replied, "10-4, I'll be right there."
