    Lionel was born on March 18, 1931, the son of Peter and Mildred (Bricco) Young in the Township of Maple Creek, where he resided. He was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London.

    Lionel is survived by his brother, Nordell (Arlene) Young, Appleton; sisters, Gladys Zietkowski, Palmer, MA and Edna (Joe) Janowski, Manitowoc, WI; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Bear Creek.

He was united in marriage to Joan Malliet on October 1, 1957. She preceded him in death in 2000. He was devoted to his kids and will be deeply missed. David was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bear Creek and was a devoted Catholic.

    He is survived by his children: Jean (Steven) Volz, Manitowoc; John Young, Bear Creek; Jerald Young, Shawano; James (Lana) Young, Appleton; Jacqueline (William) Resch, Mattoon; Janet (Andrew) Evenson, Bonduel; Joline (Gerald) Wescovich, Ocean Springs, Mississippi; Donna (Thomas) Douglas, Fayetteville, North Carolina; Denice Ketchum, Federal Way, Washington; Debra Young (fiancée, Michael Leamy), Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Darla (Jason) Pingel, New London; two brothers, Norbert (Liz) Young, New London; Martin (Snooky) Young, New London and a sister, Zita (David) Williams, Marion. He is further survived by 26 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two grandchildren, Veronica Perez and Kayla Douglas.

    Funeral Mass for David will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bear Creek. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home on Monday, January 7, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. and also at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

He graduated from New London High School and worked at Plach Automotive, Titan Industries, Kitchen Refacers, Gulf Stream and RAS. Roy served his country in the Clintonville National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping with his family and hanging out with his friends.

    Roy is survived by his daughter, Addison Young; son, Corbin Young; his parents; sister, Shiela (Bill) Schuman, Berlin; brother, Martin (Kerri) Young, Shiocton; sister, Sherry (Donald) VanGilder, Cleveland, OH and brother, Jody Young (Amber), Appleton. Roy is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many special friends.

    Roy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Margie Riehl and John and Julia Young.

    A special thank you to Tiffany and Kendall Koenke.

    A funeral service for Roy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at First Congregational United Church of Christ in New London. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service directly at the church on Saturday. Rev. Greg Watling will be officiating. Burial will be in the Danish Cemetery, Town of Deer Creek.

    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

    Sara Young, 35, New London, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 4, 1971, in Appleton, daughter of Michael and Ruth (Kettner) Barrington. On April 27, 1996, she married Jody Young in New London. Sara was a 1989 graduate of New London High School and later attended the University of La Crosse where she graduated in 1994 with a degree in accounting. Her family meant everything to her. She especially loved spending time with her 4-year-old son, Kyle. She was a member of After Reach Cancer Survivors Group of New London and she participated in the Relay for Life.

    She is survived by her husband, Jody a son, Kyle, at home her parents, Michael and Ruth Barrington, New London a brother, Todd (Lori) Barrington, New London. She is further survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Martin and Ethel Young, New London and numerous other relatives and friends.

    She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

    The Funeral Mass for Sara will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. David Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the Most Precious Blood Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, where a 7:30 p.m. prayer service will be held, and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. A Memorial Fund has been established.

    The family would like to thank Dr. Swanson, Theda Care Hospice and all the nurses at Martha Seikman Cancer Center.
