In 1989, Dottie began providing loving care to her patients with the Valley VNA. She loved her work and continued there until one month prior to her passing. She was loved very much and will be deeply missed by her co-workers and her patients.

As children, we watched our Mother devour cookbooks as though they were great novels. Cooking was her passion. She loved and was so proud to do the cooking for so many of our family's special events. Dottie was very proud of her children, and all the special artistic talents of the family. She so very much loved attending all of the many musical performances of her grandchildren. She took great delight in giving her grandchildren special gifts.

Dottie loved her family, her dear friends, her co-workers and patients, and her beloved kitty Panther. Mom was our greatest teacher, teaching us that LOVE CONQUERS ALL. The Angels have come to bring you home to Jesus. May you now rest in peace with Lord, Dearest Mom.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society in Dottie's name would be appreciated.

Our deepest gratitude to all of the wonderful staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital, who provided such kind care and support to our Mother and her family, during this past difficult week of her life.
