    Schoenrock, Kurt Lewis
    Kurt Lewis Schoenrock passed away at 11 a.m. on Sunday, February 2nd, 2009, at his home surrounded by family and faithful companion, a black Scottie named Duffy, in Oldsmar, FL. He was born in New London, Wi on June 25th, 1932, to Walter & Isabel Schoenrock. Kurt married Marie Bauer in Appleton, WI, on October 3, 1959.
    Kurt worked for the Lutheran Aid for many years before relocating to the Tampa area in 1985. Kurt was a mortgagebroker and appraiser with a special M.A.I. degree that enabled him to appraise many unique venues such as Sunken Gardens and Weeki Wauchi Srings. During his lifetime, he enjoyed water-skiing, boating, playing sheepshead, watching the animal wildlife outside, sunsets at the beach, and various types of music.
    He is preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Dale Schoenrock.
    Kurt is survived by his wife, Marie, and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this fall. He is survived by his four children: Vicki (Schoenrock) Maas, Kimberly, WI; Ross Schoenrock, Brillion, WI; Kevin Schoenrock, Orlando, FL; and Alyson (Schoenrock) Argue, Newport Richey, FL. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Michael Maas, Ian and Hillary Schoenrock, Taylor and Ella Schoenrock, and Madison Argue.
    The family is sincerely grateful for the around-the-clock care provided by Hospice of the Florida Suncoast the last 10 days of his life and the support given to our family during this unexpected and difficult time.

Frazier, 79, of Ormond Beach, who passed away on February 9, 2009, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL. with the family receiving friends of Wednesday, February 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL.
    Born on June 18, 1929, in Appleton, WI, to James and Rose Piette, Elizabeth was a retired Registered Nurse and a retired Avon Saleswoman. She served in the USAF from 1951 to 1953 and served as an RN at the Michigan Veteran Facility for over 25 years. She moved to the area in 1986, coming from Grand Rapids, MI.
    She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack "Corky" Frazier and survivors include her sons: John (Chris) Frazier of Grand Rapids, MI and Robert (Sherry) Frazier of Martinsburg, WVa; her daughters: Rose (John) Holiday of Astor, FL and Tinkerbell (Willy) Waltens of DeLeon Springs, FL; her brothers: Jimm (Betty) Piette of Savannah, GA and Gene (Mary) Piette of Neenah, WI.; three grandchildren and a great-grandson.

  • Note: Eugene Piette, 84, Neenah, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012. He was born September 27, 1927, in Appleton, son of James and Rose (Beelen) Piette. Gene married Mary Stepanski in April, 1958, at St. John Catholic Church, Menasha. She survives him. They have four fine sons: Patrick (Diane) Piette, Oshkosh; Joseph (Maria) Piette, Annapolis, MD; John (Joanne Kimata) Piette, Ann Arbor, MI; David Piette, Cudahy; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, James (Bettye) Piette, Savannah, GA; brother-in-law, Jack (Edie) Stepanski; sister-in-law, Janet Gugala, Menasha; relatives: Mary Jo Theis and Jeanette Piette, both of Appleton; other relatives and many friends.

    Gene was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Betty Frazier and Carol Piette; and a brother-in-law: James Stepanski.

    Eugene was a veteran of WWII, having entered the U.S. Army after graduating from Appleton High School in 1945. From the time of his discharge from the Army until 1962 he was active in the Army Reserve. He believed in and actively supported the mission of the Army reserve as it was used at that time. Following his discharge from the Army, he enrolled at Lawrence University, Appleton. Gene graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lawrence in 1951 and received his MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. After graduating from Lawrence, Gene was employed by Marathon Corporation which was later merged with American Can Company. He remained with Marathon and American Can until 1980, retiring in 1992 from Menasha Corporation in Watertown.

    Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2012, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating and Fr. Larry Seidl concelebrating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Visitation will be at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, and at the church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the Mass. A prayer service led by Fr. Mike Carroll will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Gene's name for St. Margaret Mary Parish.

    Age 70, died Monday, April 17, 2000, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton following a long illness.
    He was born April 28, 1929, in Kaukauna, the son of the late Rueben and Sophia (Kroes) Kuehl.
    On June 25, 1949, Gene married the former Patricia Schuler at Immanuel United Church of Christ,
    Kaukauna.

    He was employed at Appleton Papers, Combined Locks, for 39 years, retiring in 1990. Gene was an
    avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed his place up north in Mountain. Survivors include his wife of
    50 years, Patricia, Brillion; four daughters, Kris (Bruce) Neveu, Kimberly, Karen (Tom) Kane,
    Denmark; Kim (Bob) Lambie, Stockbridge; Jenny (Michael) Alkire, Chilton; two sons, Kerry (Pat)
    Kuehl, Brillion; Kevin (Cindy) Kuehl, Little Chute; nine grandchildren, Craig (Kay) Neveu, Robby
    (Jennifer) Neveu, Erick and Tori Kane, Sam Kuehl, Angela Kuehl, Emily Lambie, Meghan Kuehl
    and Adam Alkire; four step-grandchildren, Bradley, April, Katie Kane and Casey Kane; a great-
    granddaughter, Kennedy Neveu; two brothers, Kenneth (Eunice) and Gerald, all of Suring,
    numerous nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his wife's mother, Pauline Schuler,
    Kaukauna; and very special cousin, Don Kuehl, Menasha.

    He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bill Schuler. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.
    Thursday at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, with the Reverend Harvey Kandler
    officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at Boettcher
    Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 9
    a.m.

    Thursday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for the
    Kidney Foundation.The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses on 2nd floor at St.
