Harvey was a loving, devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son. He loved golf, reading, history, learning, but mostly he loved his family. He treasured times when his family gathered to talk, laugh and enjoy each other's company. Harvey was the son of Gregory and Marie Mauel of Appleton, Wisconson. He is survived by his four children, Michael Mauel of Demarest, New Jersey, Victoria Holt of Wayzata, Minnesota, John Mauel of Houston, Texas, and Katherine Mauel of St. Louis, Missouri. Harvey is also survived by his nine wonderful grandchildren, Lauren Holt (26), Jack Mauel (24), Matt Holt (24), Jennifer Pearlstein (24), David Pearlstein (23), Margaret Mauel (22), Avery Mauel (21), Patrick Mauel (20), and Marin Moore (14). Harvey is also survived by a brother and sister of Austin, Texas, Bob Mauel and Nancy Mauel. Harvey enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1950, attended the Army Language School, and served in Europe until 1954. After his service, Harvey entered University of Wisconsin where he graduated as a mechanical engineer and met Sally, who would become his wife, until her death in 2011. Harvey received his M.B.A. from Wayne State University and had a successful career as an executive in industrial manufacturing. Harvey's intellect, wit, compassion, and enduring love for his wife Sally were with him until the end and we will treasure all the memories of our conversations, laughter, hugs, and times together.     Sally was a loving, accepting and caring daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and wife. She loved golf, reading, food, her garden, but mostly her family. She treasured times when her family gathered to talk, laugh and enjoy each other's company.

    Sally was the daughter of John Clayton Howdle and Grace Card Morley of Madison, Wis. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harvey Mauel of Pinehurst, N.C.; and her four children, Michael Mauel of Demarest, N.J., Victoria Holt of St. Louis, Mo., John Mauel of Houston, Texas, and Katherine Mauel of St. Louis, Mo. Sally is also survived by her nine wonderful grandchildren, Lauren Holt (23), Jack Mauel (21), Matt Holt (21), Jennifer Pearlstein (21), David Pearlstein (20), Margaret Mauel (19), Avery Mauel (18), Patrick Mauel (17), and Marin Moore (11).

  • Burial: She was buried in Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Marcia Schumacher, 68, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter-in-law, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 3, 2012, in Kennesaw, GA after losing her courageous battle to pancreatic cancer. She was born on January 15, 1944, in Cleveland, OH, daughter of Marvin and Mildred Zelman who later moved to California when Marcia was the age of 4. On August 29, 1964, Marcia married the love of her life, David Schumacher.

    In 1971, Marcia and David returned to Kimberly, WI and started Anchor Marine. She loved traveling and camping in their motor home, spending time with her close friends and was talented at cross stitching. Marcia cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren and enjoyed attending their activities. She had a special gift of talking with people and got along with all.

    Marcia is lovingly survived by her husband, David; two sons: Rick (Darlene) Schumacher, Kimberly, and Jeff (Katie) Schumacher, Kimberly; grandchildren: Eric, Whitney, Stephanie, Zachary, Kendal, Brayden, and Lilly; brothers: David (Veronica), Robert, and Danny (Karen) Zelman; mother-in-law: Margaret Schumacher, Kimberly; and many other special relatives and friends.

    Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Robert Schumacher.

    The funeral service for Marcia will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Marcia's name.

  • Note: Beulah, age 95, of Appleton, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010. She was born June 20, 1915, in Appleton, daughter of the late Charles Carson and Amanda (Knuppel) Green. She married Thomas J. Flanagan, September 5, 1936, in Appleton. He preceded her in death January 29, 1987, having shared 50 years together. Beulah was employed by H. C. Prange Co. for 28 years and retired in 1988. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Christian Ladies of St. Therese, National Catholic Society of Foresters and was a volunteer for St. Joseph Food Pantry for 15 years.

    She is survived by three daughters: Maureen (Connor) Van Doren, Menasha; Mary Ellen (Charles) Hurst, Wooster, OH; Kathleen (Keenan Behrle) Flanagan, Los Angeles, CA; three sons: Thomas (Barbara) Flanagan, Appleton; Michael Flanagan, Bakersfield, CA; Patrick (Brad Cantrell) Flanagan, Madison; a sister: Joan Radtke, Appleton; two sisters-in-law: Pat Green, Appleton and Catherine Flanagan, Dublin, GA; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles O. Green and Peter C. Green.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E. Wisconsin Ave., with Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday, December 27, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
