    Kenneth M. Casey, age 62, of Appleton, died on November 23, 2009. Ken was born on October 16, 1947, in Appleton, to the late Roy and Helen (Beschta) Casey. He graduated from Appleton High School in 1965 and attended the University of Wisconsin—Eau Claire. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972. Friends and family could always look forward to receiving greeting cards from Ken on all holidays. He never missed sending a card to any friend or family member on their birthday. Ken enjoyed attending all family gatherings, whether large or small. Ken enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the times with his twin nieces. He also enjoyed playing cards with his cousins and dinner with friends. For a number of years Ken lived in Colorado and loved both the state and his Denver Broncos. He was also an avid reader of books and newspapers.

    Survivors include his brothers: Claude (Nancy) Casey, Pawtucket, R.I., and Ed Casey, Oshkosh; his twin nieces, Heather and Stephanie Casey; and his aunts, Beatrice Schuh, Eleanor Beschta, Ricki Casey and Marcella Casey. He is further survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.

    Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2009, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, December 3, 2009, from 4 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in Ken's name.
