    Kleiber, Margaret Marie
    Margaret Marie Kleiber, age 79, of Allouez, beloved wife of Arnold (Jim) Kleiber, died February 5th. She was born in Appleton, daughter of the late Oscar & Agnes (Salm) Neuser and had lived in Green Bay for over 26 years. Margaret graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1946 and later attended Marquette University. She married Jim in 1951 and moved to Milwaukee. In 1963, they moved to Stamford, CT, where they lived for 20 years before moving to Green Bay. Margaret was active in CFM (Christian Family Movement) for many years and also volunteered at Smith House in Stamford. She continued her volunteer work at Paul's Pantry in Green Bay. She loved to travel and she and Jim spent many happy days in Hawaii. They also enjoyed trips to Alaska and Europe. In 2001, their eight children joined them for a 50th anniversary celebration in Green Bay. Margaret was particularly proud of her charter membership in the US Holocaust Museum and fulfilled a lifelong wish to visit Auschwitz in June 2006.

    Margaret is survived by her husband, Jim, her eight children, four daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and nine grandchildren; Martin and Mary Patrice Kleiber and their children Margaret and Nicholas of Milwaukee WI, Christine Nocera of New York, NY and her son Joshua Pruce and daughter-in-law Shannon of Yardley, PA, Robert and Nancy Kleiber and their sons Matthew and David of Edina MN, Gregory Kleiber of Philadelphia, PA, David and Thea Kleiber and their sons Benjamin and Ethan of Ferndale, WA, Anthony and Margrethe Kleiber of Falls Church, VA, Therese and Brad West and their sons Stephen and Paul of Appleton, WI and Daniel Kleiber of San Francisco, CA; her three sisters and one brother-in-law; Helen Scheuer of Green Bay, WI, Agnes Baer of Kaukauna, WI and Gladys and Berwyn Lieffort of Vero Beach, FL; two brothers and two sisters-in-law; Charles and Lois Neuser of Darboy, WI and Francis and Dolores Neuser of Hilbert, WI and numerous nieces and nephews.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Lee Counard.

    Friends may call on Monday, February 11, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of Mass at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at church, with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Entombment to follow in Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum.
