  • Death: Dorothy M Baumgart died on March 2, 2013, at age 91.
  • Burial: She was buried in Allouez Catholic Cemetery, Green Bay, Brown Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Dorothy M. Roffers, age 91 of Ashwaubenon passed away on Saturday March 2, 2013. She was born April 15, 1921 in Bellevue daughter of the late William and Grace Baumgart. On September 14, 1940 she married Irvin Roffers at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere. Dorothy enjoyed her garden and flowers as well as baking for her family. For many years she bowled in league bowling. She and Irvin loved to dance to local Polka bands. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in De Pere. For the last years Dorothy lived at Birch Creek Assisted Living where the staff and residents became her second family. She is survived by her children; Roger Roffers and his special friend Ann Stueber, Daniel (Karen) Roffers, Nancy (Ralph) Gossen, Eugene (Cathy) Roffers, Wayne (Debbie) Roffers, and Mark (Sherry) Roffers. Dorothy is further survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandson. Jenny Roffers her sister in law also survives. Preceding her in death were her husband, Irvin, her parents, as well as her siblings and Irvin siblings.

    Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Drive in De Pere after 9am on Friday March 8, 2013. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11am with Fr. Tim Shillcox O.Praem officiating. Entombment will take place in the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.     Roffers, Robert Herbert
    Robert "Bob" H. Roffers, 86, Seymour, formerly of West De Pere, joined his wife Angela in heaven on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009. He was born May 23, 1922, in Ashwaubenon, a son of the late John and Mary (Vanden Hogan) Roffers. On Aug. 21, 1954, Bob married Angela Dollar at St. Francis Church in De Pere.
    Bob started farming in 1960. He was a past member of Brown County NFO, and Past Commander of VFW Post 2113. Bob was an active member of St. Boniface Holy Name Society. In 1999, Bob sold his farm and moved to Seymour to be close to his grandsons. Bob enjoyed fixing cars, trucks, and tractors in his shed throughout the years.
    Bob is survived by his eight children, Carol (Jeff) Webster, Sharon (Mike) Secora, Betsy (Steve) Braun, Allan (Mitzie) Roffers, Denise (Lorn) Van Den Elzen, Bonnie (Craig) Rickaway, Leann (Carlos) Rodriguez, and Curtis (Andrea) Roffers; 11 grandchildren, Jamie (Jamie) Conrad, Corry (Nikki Ambrosius) Roffers, Justin Roffers, Paul Braun, Casey Braun, Kelcie Van Den Elzen, Kailie Van Den Elzen, Megan Roffers, Conner Roffers, Gabriela Rodriguez, and Baby Roffers due in April; and three great-grandchildren, Gavin and Nevaeh Braun, and Ashlyn Conrad. Bob is further survived by four sisters-in-law, Pearl Roffers, Dorothy Roffers, Irene Roffers, and Jenny Roffers; numerous nieces and nephews; and Angela's six sisters.
    Bob was greeted in heaven by his wife, Angela; parents; and siblings, Henrietta, Herbert, Lester, Jenny, Irvin, Marvin, Norbert, Elsie, Raymond, Rosella, Evelyn, and Arthur.
    Visitation for Bob will be Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes and Suburban, De Pere. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at 11 a.m. at church with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Mausoleum.
