  • Note: Obit. De Pere Journal Democrat 9-11-1997 Funeral services will be held at 10:30 this morning (Thursday) at St. Paul Catholic church fo r Mary Lynn Lauer Van De Hey, 42, 411 W. Sixth St. Kaukauna. The Rev. Elroy E. Reimer and th e Rev. Charles Brooks will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary cemetery Kaukauna with Co tter funeral home handling arrangements. There will be visitation at the church after 9:30 u ntil the funeral service. The former Mary Lynn Van De Hey died Saturday Sept. 6, at her home after a long illness. Sh e was born in Appleton Dec. 18, 1954, to Betty Chouinard Lauer and graduated from Menasha hig h school. She served in the U.S. Army from 1973 until 1976 and had been stationed in Germany . She was a member of the American Legion Post 436. Mrs. Van De Hey and her former husband, Peter, owned and operated Mid Vallee golf course. Survivors are her mother, Betty Lauer; two daughters, Nicole and Katrina and their father, Pe ter Van De Hey; four brothers, Leon H. Lauer and Norbert J. Lauer of Menasha, John J. Lauer o f Appleton, and Greg R. Lauer of Kaukauna; three sisters, Terri H. Wankey, Patricia J. Laue r and Mrs. Joe (Kathy K.) Knuiji all of Appleton; her former mother in law, Dorothy (Boots ) Zeler and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Norbert Lauer in Apri l of 1995.
