    Zinda, Shirley A. Shirley A. Zinda, Lake Tomahawk, age 65, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, August 13, 2007. She was born May 16, 1942, in the Fox Valley, daughter of Harold VanDenBoogart and Lillian Spice. Shirley spent the last 35 years in the Northwoods where she raised her children. She loved spending time on the water fishing and as a Professional Fishing Guide. Shirley enjoyed crafts, ceramics and cooking. She served on the Sanitary District Board for the Township of Lake Tomahawk.

    Survivors include her four daughters: Laure (Thad) Willemsen, Appleton; Sandra (Robert) Truckey, Oshkosh; Donna (Mark) Wilson, Milwaukee; Karen Siebrecht, Eagle River; nine grandchildren: Amanda, Adam, Sheila, Nathan, Betsy, Robbie, David, Megan and Ashley; two great-grandchildren: Blake and Raquel; her mother, Lillian Spice; her father, Harold VanDenBoogart; a brother, Dennis; a sister, Nancy; two half-brothers: Duane and Artie; a half-sister, Paula; two aunts: Lucille and Delores; an uncle, Robert; other relatives and many friends.

    She was preceded in death by her step-father, Arthur Basler; grandma Kica and grandma Spice; and an aunt, Evelyn.

    A Time of Remembrance will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2007, at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home.

    The family would like to thank the staff of Vallhaven Care Center and Theda Clark's ICU and 5th floor nursing staff for all their care and concern.

    Tommy was born on April 10, 1944 the son of Clement and Loretta (nee Heinzelman) Zinda.
    Known as “Tadpole Tommy” of Tommy’s Fishing Adventures.
    Survivors include his wife, Patricia Banks and by his children: Christopher (Heather) Zinda, Bradley Sage, Laura Sage, Karen Siebrecht, Donna (Jonathan) Sigouin, Laure (Thad) Willemsen and Sandy (Robert) Bauernfind and by his Grandchildren: Arlo, Tristan, Natalie, Brooke, David, Megan, Adam, Amanda, Betsy, Sheila and Nathan and by his Sister: Pat (Dave) Baumgartner and by his loving Pets: Shiloh and Squirt and by countless friends.
    Preceded in death by his former wives: Debbie Sage and Shirley Zinda
    Celebration of Life for Tadpole Tommy will be held on Saturday June 5th at Heart II in Arbor Vitae, WI starting at 7:00 PM

    VandenBoogart, Dennis
    Dennis VandenBoogart, 65, beloved father, husband and friend, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, following a long illness. Dennis was born on Aug. 27, 1943, in Kimberly, to Harold VandenBoogart and Lillian Bosler. After graduating from high school, he entered the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served his country in Okinawa, Japan. Once his time in service was completed, he moved to Appleton, Wis., and married Donna Frisby. Together, they had one daughter, Kristi. Following his divorce, he moved to Green Bay. While working at Bay City Cab, he met his current wife, Carol (Belongia), whom he married in 1971. Dennis then began working at Northern Paper Mill, now Georgia Pacific East, from which he retired. In 1977, Dennis and Carol welcomed their only child together, Kelly. Throughout his life, Dennis enjoyed fishing, playing pool, bowling, reading educational books, playing cards, watching game shows and spending time with his daughter, Kelly.
    Dennis is survived by his wife; two daughters; father; mother; step-mother, Arlene VandenBoogart; sister, Nancy White; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Helen Wellens, Richard and Laverne Salmon and Tom Zinda; grandson, Sean Frisby; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Zinda; brother-in-law, Russell Belongia, and nephew, Theodore (Butch) Peters, Jr.
    Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friends may also call on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A celebration of Dennis' life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.   • Marriage: He was married on August 1, 1966 in DePere, Brown Co, Wisconsin.
  • Death: He died on August 26, 2017, at age 75.
  • Note: Peter L. Fleck, age 75 of De Pere, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2017 at home, after being a real trooper through his battle with cancer. He was born on June 3, 1942 to the late Howard and Christine (Lary) Fleck in Green Bay. On August 1, 1966, he married Mary Zelten at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. Pete was a member of Local #3 Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers for 40+ years. He was the Pancake Specialist and as a 50-year member of North East Lions, serving in many positions but especially, making pancakes. Also making pancakes as a member of Conchella Valley Lions club and Indian Wells RV Park. He was known as "Pancake Pete". He was a longtime member of GBYC, always helping out where needed, especially in the kitchen, and as the clean-up specialist. He enjoyed making jewelry, polishing stones, golfing, boating and traveling by RV.

    He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary, brothers and sisters; Mike (Gin) Fleck, Pudge (Kay) Daanen and Dorothy (Daanen) Schwantz, Zelten brothers in law; Cletus (Nancy), Kenn (Beth), Pat (Deb), Steve (Tina), Bill (Michelle) and Joe, Zelten sisters in law; Jane (Drew) Ama, Donna (Bill) Leanna and Joanne (Ken) Ver Hoven. Pete is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

    Preceding Pete in death are his parents, his step mother, Kay (Daanen) Fleck, mother and father in law, John and Dorothy Zelten, brothers, Ken and Bill Fleck and brothers in law; Dick, Tom, Mike and Glenn Zelten.

    Family and friends may gather from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere. A prayer service will be held at 6:00pm. Visitation will continue at 9:30am until 10:15am on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, De Pere with the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30am with Rev.     In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Wisconsin Lion's Foundation for Lion's Camp in Rosholt WI, as it held a special place in Pete's heart.

    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gaudam and all the Aurora Oncology group and Aurora Hospice program for their loving care of Pete. Also, a very special thank you to his best bud, Gregg, who always made time to visit Pete, call him, take him for rides and out for coffee or lunch. Also, thank you to all who called, texted, emailed and visited during his illness.
