    Bunting, Helen Grace (Schultz) Grace Helen (Schultz) Bunting, daughter of Walter F. and Minnie A. (Van Hout) Schultz, was born on February 12th, 1933, in Appleton, WI. On August 15th, 1954, Grace was united in marriage to Robert E. Bunting at the Assembly of God Church in New Sharon, IA. A homemaker for most of her life, Grace was a member of the New Sharon Assembly of God, had worked as a secretary for Modern Gas of New Sharon and enjoyed sewing and visiting with her friends. Grace passed away on Saturday, June 16th, 2007, at her home in New Sharon, IA at the age of 74.

    She is survived by her son, James (Bonnie Carmer) Bunting of Brooklyn; her daughter, Karen Bunting of Grinnell; three grandchildren: Brian Lemke, Dustin Carmer, and Memory Bunting; two brothers: Melvin (Audrey) Schultz and LaVern (Debi) Schultz, both of Appleton, WI; two sisters: Sally (Hayes) Blanton of Chicago, IL, and Betty (Pete) Stone of Silver Cliff, WI; and two sisters-in-law: Pat (Don) Baker of New Sharon and Virginia Likens of Barnes City. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1997 and a brother, Lyle Schultz.

  • Note: Elizabeth "Betty" Rentmeester, 87, Longtime Allouez resident, died peacefully, Monday, July 18, 2016, at Allouez Parkside Village. She was born February 1, 1929, in the Town of Rockland, to the late Henry and Mary (Vande Wettering) Coenen. Betty attended East De Pere High School graduating in 1947 and then received her CNA Diploma in Florida where she worked in numerous nursing homes. She married Francis Rentmeester on September 2, 1948, at St Mary's Catholic Church in De Pere. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2011. Betty took great pride in raising her family and made sure all the holidays were special. She and Francis started traveling back and forth from Green Bay to Sarasota, Florida in 1970. She was a longtime member of St. Mary of the Angels and St. Martha's Parish in Sarasota. Since her move to Parkside Village, almost five years ago, she has enjoyed many friendships with the residents as well as the staff. Betty looked forward to the activities and especially enjoyed playing Bingo. She always enjoyed engaging in conversation and maintained her wit until her last days.

    Betty is survived by her six children: Carol (Wes) De Grand; Grace (Glen) Gore, all Green Bay; Gloria (Rod) MacDonald, Lakeland, FL; Wayne (Jane) Rentmeester, Sarasota, FL; Janet (Beaver) Miller, St. Port Lucie, FL and Paul (Lori) Rentmeester, Green Bay; 21 grandchildren: Jason (Steph) Coisman; Chris (Rhonda) Coisman; Amber Coisman; Tyler (Ellen) De Grand; Gina (Mike) Jensen; Geri (Danny) Greene; Greg Gore; Ashley Miller; Tiffany and Fiancee, Cory Cummings; Danielle (Mark) Niefield; Jacqui (Taylor) Kelly; Jon Rentmeester; Madi Rentmeester; Jesse, Jamie, Jerod and Janielle MacDonald; Missy (Dave) Hageness; Nicole Rentmeester and her fiancée Aaron Frisbie, Matt Rentmeester and Shawn Rentmeester; 29 great grandchildren; one brother, Harold Coenen, Appleton; two brothers-in-law: Marvin (Myrtle) Rentmeester and Fabian (Enola) Rentmeester, all Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by one son, Dale Rentmeester; two brothers: Jerry (Eunice) Coenen and Clarence (Rita) Coenen; two brothers-in-law: Clem and Ralph Rentmeester and a sister-in-law, Nancy Coenen.

    Friends may call at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, corner of Cass and Irwin Sts. After 9:00 am Wednesday, July 27, until time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Wednesday at the church with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski OFM officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.   • Note: Francis E. Rentmeester, 92, Allouez resident, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at the Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice residence. He was born Feb. 12, 1919 ,in Green Bay, to the late Peter and Kate (Heyrman) Rentmeester. Francis served in the U.S. Army during WWII from Aug. of 1941, until his honorable discharge in July of 1945. While serving his country, Francis received numerous commendations. He married the former Elizabeth Coenen on Sept. 2, 1948, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in De Pere.

    Francis was self-employed as a homebuilder in Brown County and Sarasota County, Fla., until his retirement. He volunteered his time and talents at St. Vincent DePaul Society in Sarasota, and enjoyed fishing in Florida every day he was there. His green thumb led to bountiful gardens in Green Bay and Florida as well as numerous fruit trees. He may be most remembered for his booyah making skill. He loved preparing and cooking and then inviting everyone over to share in his labors. When it came to booyah, Francis was the Master. He was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish for many years as well as St. Martha's Parish in Sarasota.

    He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; and their six children, Carol (Wes) DeGrand,Grace (Glen) Gore, all of Green Bay; Gloria (Rod) MacDonald, Lakeland, Fla.; Janet (Beaver) Miller, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; Wayne (Jane) Rentmeester, Sarasota, Fla.; and Paul (Lori) Rentmeester, Green Bay; 21 grandchildren, Jason (Steph) Coisman, Chris (Rhonda) Coisman, Amber Coisman, Tyler DeGrand and fiancee, Ellen, Gina (Mike) Jensen, Geri (Danny) Greene, Greg Gore, Ashley Miller and Oscar, Tiffany Miller and Cory, Danielle (Mark) Niefeld, Jacqui Rentmeester, Jon Rentmeester, Madeline Rentmeester, Jesse, Jamie, Jerod and Janielle MacDonald, Missy (Dave) Hageness, Nicole Rentmeester, Matt Rentmeester and Shawn Rentmeester; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin (Myrtle) Rentmeester and Fabian (Enola) Rentmeester, all Green Bay; two brothers-in-law, Harold (Nancy) Coenen, Appleton; Gerald Coenen, Little Chute.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Larry Canavera officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
