  • Note: MIchael (Mike) Vandenbusch, 82, 897 N Irwin Aave., died Sunday afternoon after a long illness. The son of the late Henry and Catherine (Daul) Vandenbusch married Jennie Derbique 59 years ago. The couple operated a grocery store on the corner of Irwin and Harvey Streets until 1939 and then retired. He was a member of the Eagles Club; St. Peter and Paul Benevolent Society; Catholic Order of Foresters, Pere Marquette Court 1211; and the Pazaza Club. He was preceded in death by one son, Herman, one daughter, Mary Ann and two brothers, Peter and Joseph. .

    Survivors are his wife; six sons, Bernard, Carlton, LeRoy and James, all of Green Bay John, Francis Creek; Michael, Huntington Beach, Calif; three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Rita) Younkle and Mrs. Muriel Brammer, both of Green Bay; Miss Carol Vandenbusch, Stanford, Conn.; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two brother, Frank, Manitowoc; and Harry, Green Bay; three sisters, Mrs. Angeline Lyonnois, Green Bay; Mrs Arthur (Sophie) Ruelle, Two Rivers; and Mrs Eben (Ethel) Engle, Shorewood. In state at Malcore funeral home after 2 p.m. today. Pazaza Club members will pay their respects at 7 p.m. today. Eagles Memorial Service at 7:30 tonight. Prayer service 8 p.m. by the Rev. Earl Schuh, the Foresters and the Benevolent Society. Funeral 10 a.m. Wednesday, with concelebrated Mass at St. Peter and Paul Church. Burial in Allouez Cemetery. .

William Zimmer will officiate and burial weill be in Calvary Cemetery. He was born March 31, 1896 in Green Bay, the son of the late Henry & Catherine Daul Vandenbusch. He was educated in Green Bay area schools and married Myrtle Tyson, Nov. 12,1929 in St. Boniface Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Vandenbusch worked as a baker for Frieder's Bakery, Manitowoc, until his retirement in 1961. He was a member fo Sacred Heart Parish and Holy Names Society of the parish and a member of Knights of Columbus council #710. His wife preceded him in death in 1967. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Shirley & Michael Kukurich of Manitowoc; brother, Harry Vandenbusch of Green Bay, Mrs. Sophie Ruelle of Two Rivers and Mrs. Ethel Engle of Shorword and three grand children. Two brothers, Raymond and Michael preceded him in death. .

(Elaine) Hickey, with who she resided; two grandchildren, Mrs. Randy (Valerie) Anderson and Frank Hickey, both of Green Bay; six grandcildren; one brother, Harry VandenBusch, Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Eben Engle, Shorewood; Mrs. Arthur Ruelle, Two Rivers; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1947, and four brothers, Michael, Peter, Frank and Ray VandenBusch. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., after 4 p.m. Friday. Rosary 7 p.m. Friday by the National Catholic Society of Foresters Court No. 905. He married ANNA FRUZYNA, Newton 22 years ago and they took up residence in this city. He has been a baker, employed by Dick Bros company the last 6 years. .

    Survivors include his widow, two daughers, Leona and Dorothy, city; two sons, Leonard and Donald, city. Seven brothers; Charles, Edward,
    Benney, Michael, Ray and Harry all of Green Bay. Frank, city. Three sisters; Mrs. Frank Lyannes of Gree Bay, Mrs Arthur Ruelle and Mrs. Ebbin Engle, both of Two Rivers and his mother Mrs. Henry Vandenbusch of Green Bay. .
