    Our beautiful Mother, Dorothy VanDenLangenberg, 88, Seymour, was reunited with the love of her life and the rest of her Heavenly family on March 16, 2015. She was born June 20, 1926 to Clara and Henry Kuske. On August 10, 1946, she married her true love, Jim VanDenLangenberg. They raised a family of 11 children together and had 49 years of marriage when Jim preceded her in death on October 1, 1995.

    Dorothy loved spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren, watching the birds (she especially loved cardinals), playing cards, and gardening. She could look out the window and name every flower and bird out there, and hated to see an empty bird feeder.

    She will be fondly remembered and missed by her children: Joan (Don) Hansen, Oneida; Jean (Ron) Best, Sparta, TN; Dave (Patti), Green Bay; Randy (Denise), Seymour; Dar (Mike), Seymour; Wendy Wilcox, Seymour; Mary Lynn, Seymour; Marty (Judy), Seymour; Kerri (Mark) VanDeHei, Seymour; and Roxann (Ken) Badtke, Pulaski. She is further survived by her 27 grandchildren and their spouses; 20 great-grandchildren; her sister, Lorraine Bessert; and sister-in-laws: Karen Kuske and LaRose VanDenLangenberg.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; son, Dan; grandsons, Doug Hansen and Jimmy VandeVoort; great-granddaughter, Aliyah VandeVoort; sister, Bernice Laha; brothers, Henry Jr., Melvin, and Merlin Kuske; and many sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.

    Friends can call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. and visitation will continue on Friday, March 20, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida from 9:30 a.m. until the mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. with Fr.     Lucille H. Neuman, age 74, passed away Friday morning, June 27, 2008 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born September 24, 1933 to the late Martin and Bardena (Heezen) Van Den Langenberg. She was united in marriage to Elroy Neuman on December 26, 1951 in Oneida. He preceded her in death February 22, 1994. Lucille was a member at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Oneida and a member of the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed bowling, card playing and time spent with family.

    She is survived by two sons: Dennis (Christine) Neuman; Bruce (Kathy) Neuman; two daughters: Janet (Chub) Leisgang; Tina (Dave) Mueller; all of Seymour; daughter-in-law, Julie Neuman, Seymour; seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law: Dorothy Van Den Langenberg; La Rose Van Den Langenberg; Grace Vissers; Irene Klement.

    Lucille was preceded in death by: her husband, Elroy; four sons: Joseph, Mark, Robert and Michael, one sister, Marion (“Sis”) Seidl; six brothers: Pete, Norbert, Lambert, Harold, Bernard and James Van Den Langenberg.

    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, June 30, 2008 from 4 PM until 8PM with a prayer service at 7:30PM. Visitation will continue at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Oneida on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 3 PM until Mass of Christian burial at 4PM with Father David Koch officiating.     Joyce devoted herself to being a mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook and baker. Holiday meals at her home will always be a favorite memory for family. Her culinary skills were shared with various employers through the years - The Elks Club, Mavericks, Sunshine Diner, and Festival Foods. Joyce cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. Every summer she would take the grandkids strawberry picking and then make jam. Over the holidays, she would invite the granddaughters to make Christmas cookies with her. Joyce enjoyed the trips she took with her children - to California, Florida and Michigan.

    She is survived by her children: Cindy Yohr, Larry (Sue) Kluball, Dean (Lori) Kluball; grandchildren: Paul, Tony, and Dawn Yohr, Brian (Wendy) Kluball, Andrew, Rachel, and Hannah Kluball; and numerous great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings: Donna (Eddie) Jarosinski, David Helein and Linda (Duane) Wroblewski along with numerous nieces and nephews.

    Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Helein and two sisters, Patricia Helein and Joann Girard.

    A funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Valley Funeral Home, Appleton with Deacon Rick Simon officiating. Entombment will be in Riverside Cemetery-Appleton. Joyce's family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
  • Graduation: She graduated from Seymour High School in 1951.
