Recognizing Rosella's artistic talent, her parents gave her a set of paints when she was ten and she continued to pursue her artistic passion for 90 more years enriching the lives of her family and friends with her creative works. She also dabbled in creative writing entertaining us with her witty poems.

On May 19, 1938 she married Nels Albert Sorenson and together they raised five children in the home they built in Green Bay. Mom was on the school board, president of the PTA, helped in school fund raising, a Girl Scout leader and president of the Green Bay Garden Club. She enjoyed golfing and traveled to golf course conferences throughout the country with Dad.

Mom always expressed her desire to spend her remaining time in her own home and we decided to do our best to accommodate her wishes. What we thought was our gift to her turned out to be her gift to us. In the last year and a half we were able to share many wonderful hours getting to know and love our mom as we never would have otherwise. Thanks Mom.
