  • Note: Teresa "Tracy" L. Van Schyndel, 88, West De Pere, spent her last precious moments surrounded by her four loving daughters before entering Eternal Life on Saturday, July 31, 2010. She was born Feb. 14, 1922, in West De Pere, a daughter of the late Antone and Rose (Calaway) Keyzer. On June 12, 1948, she married Martin P. Van Schyndel. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1980. Marty and Tracy farmed in the town of Lawrence for many years.

    Tracy was a member of St. Boniface, St. Boniface Christian Mothers Assn, and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family. She was a faithful servant and ended each day praying the Rosary and Novena's. Tracy loved playing cards, doing ceramics, and most of all spending time with her family.
    Tracy is survived by her children, Gail (Fred) Bengsch, Green Bay, Joan (Tom) Vanden Branden, West De Pere, Mary Lynn (Wayne Jr.) Bero, West De Pere, and Janice (Glenn) Hewitt, West De Pere; eight grandchildren, Justin (Nicole) Hewitt, West De Pere, Troy (Jen) Hewitt, Green Bay, Bryan (fiancee Kimberly St. Louis) Bero, Green Bay, Brooke (Dave) Lewellyn, Cecil, Blayne Bero, West De Pere, Brett Bero, West De Pere, Brad Vanden Branden (who will be vested into the Norbertine Order on August 27), West De Pere, and Kally Vanden Branden, West De Pere; great grandchildren: Caden Hewitt, Rachel Lynn Lewellyn, and a soon to be great granddaughter on September 9. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law Dolores Van Schyndel, Jane Keyzer, Beulah Van Schyndel, and Clara Van Schyndel; brother-in-law Wencil "Jim" Krines, nieces, nephews, and her Bible Study Group.
    Tracy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Marty; sisters Josephine (Clem) Jansen, and Mary Krines; brother Francis Keyzer; brothers-in-law George (Betty) Van Schyndel, John Van Schyndel, Tony Van Schyndel, and Ted Van Schyndel; sisters-in-law Ann (John) Van Boxtel, Dorothy (Ray) Jacques, Marie (Clarence) Daoust and special nephew Dave Jansen, George Van Schyndel,Jr and niece Jeanne Van Boxtel.
    Visitation for Tracy will be Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME. 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. A Rosary service will follow at 7:30 p.m. lead by Sr. Helen Keyzer. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at Our Lady Of Lourdes Parish, 1307 Lourdes Ave., De Pere, from 9 a.m. until Mass time. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem, officiating, Fr. James Neilson, O. Praem, and Deacon Mike Vander Bloomen concelebrating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.   • Note: Wencil "Jim" Krines, 93, Green Bay resident, died Friday, April 17, 2015. He was born Sept. 26, 1921, in the town of Franklin to the late Joseph and Anna (Chervenka) Krines. On Sept. 6, 1947, he married Mary Rose Keyzer. They celebrated 59 years of marriage in 2006 before she preceded him in death in 2007.

    Jim was a lifelong farmer until he retired in 1984. Jim also was an avid gardener who loved sharing his produce with everyone. Ask for a few vegetables, and he would send you away with overflowing bags. Jim lovingly cared for his apple orchard as well. He would never pass up a game of horseshoes, and spent many of his Sundays playing cards with his family. Jim liked hunting in his spare time, and in his younger years, he and his wife spent many nights dancing.

    Jim is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann Nowak, Ruth (Curt) Schuettpelz, Marcia (Bert) Scherer, all of Green Bay; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard (Marvie) Krines, De Pere; and Jerome (Sandy) Krines, Green Bay; daughter-in-law, Donna Krines; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Joyce) Krines, Green Bay; sister, Victoria Wanner, Green Bay; sister-in-law, Jane Keyzer; nieces nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    In addition to his parents and wife, Jim was preceded in death by son, James Krines; son-in-law, Rick Nowak; sisters, Mary (Oswald) Colavitti, Ann Cavil, Stella Krines, Rose (Clarence) Davister; brothers, Matt (Laura) Krines, Bernard (Leona) Krines, Joseph (Amanda) Krines; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Josephine and Clem Jansen, Martin and Teresa Van Schyndel, and Francis Keyzer.

    Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Sr. Helen Keyzer officiating. Visitation will continue at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Ln., Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev.
