    Molenkamp, Braden Phillip Braden Phillip Molenkamp, age 22, of Appleton WI, and his step-sister, Stephanie Norsman, age 19, of Madison, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4, 2007. They died instantly in a car accident. Braden is the son of JoAnn Verkuylen-Molenkamp of Appleton and Phillip Molenkamp, address unknown. In his short time with us, Braden brought great happiness and strength to his family and friends. Braden had an aspiring future in college basketball and as an artist. He was a big-hearted creative and intelligent young man who will be remembered dearly.

    Braden is the oldest son and is survived by his mother JoAnn; his brothers, Christopher and Michael Molenkamp, of Appleton; his step-mother, Judy Norsman of Lodi, WI; his step-brothers, Scott and Corey Norsman, of Madison, WI; his grandparents, Chris and Jo Verkuylen of Kimberly; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

    All who loved him will remember Braden fondly. Let us pray that God opened his hands to his children, Braden and Stephanie. May our Lord bring them peace and serenity.

    There will be a Funeral Mass in Braden's honor at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2007, at St. John's Nepomucene, 323 Pine St., Little Chute, WI, with Fr. Jim Habelwitz officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to help the family. The burial shall be at 1:30 p.m. in the Riverside Cemetery, 714 N. Owaissa St., Appleton, WI. The family welcomes you to attend.

    Many heartfelt thanks to all who have called, visited and helped out. We truly appreciate the condolences. Special thanks go out to the kind people at the Westgor Funeral Home for their services and assistance during this difficult time.

    Strobl, Lucille H. "Ceil" Lucille H. "Ceil" Strobl, of Appleton, age 89, passed away Monday, February 5, 2007, at Cherry Meadows, surrounded by her loving family as they prayed the Lord's Prayer. The angels ushered her to heaven into the waiting arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was born March 4, 1917, Reedsville, WI, the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Staudinger) Schmidt. Ceil was united in marriage to Herman Strobl on June 26, 1937, and were blessed with 61 years together. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1998.

    The Strobl's were charter members of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and devoted parishioners. Ceil was a very active volunteer at church, and through her outstanding organizational skills used her talents to help with church picnics, the Mission Club, rummage sales, funeral luncheons, and being a hospital visitor. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary, and the Monte Alverno Retreat Guild. Ceil also was a cook at the Retreat Center. She loved making quilts and Christmas decorations and all of the family received her wonderful creations. Ceil enjoyed flowers, gardening, and was an avid bird watcher at her home. She reveled in feeding the bluejays with peanuts, although she was not fond of the squirrels! Everyone loved her cooking and baking, especially her apple pies. Ceil was affectionately known by her grandson as Grand-Mammy, and by her great-grandchildren as Grandma Great and Cookie Grandma.

    Survivors include her daughters: Shirley Dietzen, Betty (Dave) Schimmers, and Patricia "Susie" (Robert) Reinke, all of Appleton, and Terri (Rev. Michael) Randerson, Greenville; her son, Herman "Sonny" (Paula) Strobl, Woodland Park, CO; her grandchildren: Kathy Tyrrell, Tony Bednarowski, Steven Bednarowski, Joe (Kim) Bednarowski, Kelly Dietzen, Scott (Tracy) Schimmers, Lisa (Tim) Meredith, Todd (Heather) Schimmers, Polly (Jay) Olson, Christopher (Shelly) Reinke, Erica Strobl and Jacob Strobl, Aaron (Lisa) Randerson, Nicole Randerson; her great-grandchildren: Jamie Tyrrell, Amanda Bednarowski, Josh, Nick, and Cait Bednarowski, Austin Bednarowski, Ryan and Courtney Bednarowski, Jordan and Chase Meredith, Bryce Schimmers, twins Emily and Elizabeth Schimmers, Parker and Kal Schimmers, Brady and Olivia Olson, and Rayne and Noelle Reinke; great-great-grandchildren: River and Ani Tyrrell, and Jazlynn, Caleb, and Lydia Dunham. She is also survived by four sisters: Helen Tetzlaff, Sylvia (John) Hodzinski, of Sheboygan, Harriet Mrotek, and Genevieve (Al) Bachaus, of Manitowoc.

    Ceil was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers: Loretta, Bernard, Eleanore, John, Gordon, and Leo.

    THE VISITATION WILL BEGIN AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2007, AT ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 EAST LOURDES DRIVE, FOLLOWED BY THE FUNERAL MASS AT 11:30 A.M. with Father Don Zuleger as celebrant. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Ceil's name is being established.

    The family would like to extend their special thanks to Paul, Charlie, and Teri, of ThedaCare at Home, for their love, devotion, and friendship given to Ceil. Their deepest gratitude to the staff at Cherry Meadows for their compassionate understanding given to our Mother, to us and their endless supply of yummy cookies. To Betty from Supportive Home Care for her years of dedication. Her children bless the grandchildren for embracing their heritage and honoring their Grandmother with love, care and respect.

  • Birth: Theodore Dietzen was born on July 31, 1944 in Appleton, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Marriage: He was married on September 16, 1999.
  • Death: He died on August 5, 2012, at age 68, in Appleton, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Theodore "Ted" Dietzen 68, of Black Creek, died Sunday August 5, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born in Appleton, July 31, 1944, son of the late Charles and Gladys (Lopes) Dietzen. Ted married Norma (Koentopp) on September 16, 1999.

    Ted owned and operated Ted's Auto Repair and Salvage for over 30 years. He enjoyed gardening, playing darts, pool, and attending area car races. His biggest enjoyment came with spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.

    Ted is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Norma; daughter, Kelly Dietzen, Appleton; three sons, Ricky Dietzen , Black Creek, Randy (Deb) Dietzen, Neenah, and Rodney (Christine) Dietzen, Oshkosh; six grandchildren, Andrew, Evan, Walker, Lucas, Amanda Cibak, and Jordan Cibak; great granddaughter, Gracie Lee; two brothers, Ronald (Becky) Dietzen, Townsend, and Bob (Mary Ellen) Dietzen, Seymour; sister-in-law, Mary Dietzen, Neenah; and many other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim.

    Funeral service will be 4:00PM on Thursday August 9, 2012 at ST. JOHN EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH (N3505 Hwy 47, Appleton) with Rev. Jeffrey Suhr officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 2:00PM until the time of service.

    Ted's family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire nursing staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital, especially his nurse Jon, and Dr. Karl Baum for their care and compassion.

  • Note: Susie Reinke, age 61, passed away at Cherry Meadows Hospice on Thursday afternoon, February 16, 2012. Susie was born in New London on December 5, 1950, daughter of the late Herman and Lucille (Schmidt) Strobl. She graduated from Appleton East High School in 1969, and for many years had been employed at the Outlook Group. She held a variety of positions with Outlook over the years, but most recently worked as a Human Resources Professional there. She loved to sew, garden, take long walks, and spend time at the family get-a-way in Door County. She was an awesome mom, grandma, and sister who always made time for her family. Many will also remember Susie for her active role at Pathways Church in Appleton.

    On May 9, 1970, Susie married Bob Reinke in Appleton. The couple enjoyed nearly forty-two years together. In addition to Bob, she is survived by two children: Polly (Jay) Olson and Chris (Shelly) Reinke, both of Appleton; four grandchildren: Brady and Olivia Olson and Rayne and Noelle Reinke; three sisters: Shirley Dietzen of Appleton, Betty (Dave) Schimmers of Appleton, and Terri (Michael) Randerson of Hortonville; and a brother: Herman "Sonny" (Paula) Strobl of Woodland Park, Colorado. There are also several in-laws: Alice Schultz of Waupaca, Mary (Melvin) Schmidt of Appleton, Jean (Dick) Neubauer of Neenah, Carol Bunnell of Neenah, Jerry Reinke of Appleton, Jim (Sue) Reinke of Milladore, and Tony Schmidt of Appleton. She will also be missed by her many dear friends and co-workers. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws George and Antoinette (Coenen) Reinke, brothers-in-law Herman Schultz and "Mike" Bunnell, and a sister-in-law JoAnn Schmidt.

    A memorial service for Susie will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 12:00 NOON at PATHWAYS CHURCH, 311 W. Evergreen Drive in Appleton, with Rev. Michael Randerson officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

    The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to Dr. Guenther, Jennifer, and the entire staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology for their love, care, and support. Thanks also to our special caring angel, Erin, for her special care. We will never forget your kindness.

  • Note: Kelly A. Dietzen, age 38, was taken home on the wings of Angels to her Lord and the waiting arms of loved ones on January 12, 2013. She was born on May 18, 1974 in Appleton, the daughter of Theodore and Shirley (Strobl) Dietzen. She attended Appleton West High School. Kelly started her own cleaning business 10 years ago, The Clean Queen, and worked with her sister, Kathy. Kelly enjoyed crafting, especially beading, she was an avid outdoors person and enjoyed camping with her family, having an annual mother-daughter camp outing. She loved flowers and her favorite was daisies. She would keep them blooming all winter long in her home. Kelly loved spending time with her son and she was a member of Pathways Church.

    Kelly is survived by her son, Lucas Dietzen, mother, Shirley Dietzen, siblings, Kathy Tyrrell, Tony (fiancee' Gina) Bednarowski, Steve Bednarowski, and Joe (Kim) Bednarowski. Kelly is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous dear friends, some who knew her as Stella. She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore, maternal grandparents, Lucille and Herman Strobl and paternal grandparents, Gladys and Charles Dietzen.

    Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Pathways Church, 311 West Evergreen Drive, Appleton, with Pastor Brad Liebe and Pastor Mike Randerson officiating. Friends and family may visit at the CHURCH from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
