    Linders, Peter Henry Peter Henry Linders, 84, 809 Fourth Street, De Pere, died peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Green Bay, after a long illness.

    He was born May 23, 1922, in the town of Hobart, to the late Peter and Clara (Sausen) Linders. He worked for many years at WG&R furniture store before retiring. He was a longtime resident of De Pere and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, De Pere.

    Peter is survived by his brother, Bernard (Donna) Linders, Lincoln, Neb.; his six sisters, Ann Linders, De Pere; Louise (Ray) Van Boxtel, Seymour; Evelyn Van Boxtel-Hug, Freedom; Mary Lou Puls, Milwaukee; Florence Linders, De Pere; Patricia (Richard) Przybylski, Pulaski; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilhelmina "Minnie" Goffard, and Sister Charitas (Elizabeth Linders).

    Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family corner of Lourdes Avenue and Suburban Drive, De Pere, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Fr.     Linders, Ann Marie


    Ann Marie Linders, 85, 809 Fourth St., De Pere, died peacefully Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay after a short illness. She was born December 4, 1924, in the Town of Hobart, a daughter to the late Peter and Clara (Sausen) Linders. She was a longtime resident of De Pere and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, De Pere. Ann loved sending cards, letters and gifts to her friends, family and especially to her nieces and nephews. She liked talking on the phone and enjoyed having company come to visit.

    Ann is survived by sisters: Louise (Ray) Van Boxtel, Seymour; Evelyn Van Boxtel-Hug, Freedom; Mary Lou Puls, Milwaukee; Florence Linders, De Pere; Patricia (Richard) Przybylski, Pulaski; and a brother, Bernard (Donna) Linders, Lincoln, NE; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Also, her extended family whom she cared for very much Tom and Nancy Swanstrom, Chicago, and Alan and Pam Swanstrom, North Carolina.

    She was preceded in death by her three sisters: Wilhelmina "Minnie" Goffard, Sister Charitas (Elizabeth Linders), and Cecelia Linders and one brother Peter Linders.

    Friends may call after 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, Corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Dr., West De Pere, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Fr.   • Note: Florence M. Linders, formerly of De Pere, died unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Hampton Manor. She was born July 13, 1930, in the Twsp. of Hobart, to the late Peter and Clara (Sausen) Linders. She was a longtime resident of De Pere and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. Florence loved flowers, and enjoyed gifts and letters from her family and friends. She liked when company came to visit. Collecting dolls and watching television were things she also enjoyed. Florence did beautiful craft work in her younger years.

    Her sisters survive her; Louise (Ray) Van Boxtel, Seymour; Evelyn Van Boxtel - Hug, Freedom; Mary Lou Puls, Milwaukee; Patricia (Richard) Przybylski, Pulaski; and a brother, Bernard (Donna) Linders, Lincoln, Neb.; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews and extended family at Hampton Manor, where she made her home the last six months, also survive. Her time at Hampton Manor was a happy part of her life.
    She was preceded in death by her four sisters, Wilhelmina "Minnie" Goffard, Sister Charitas (Elizabeth Linders), Cecelia Linders, and Ann Linders; and her brother, Peter Linders.
    Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Drive in De Pere, after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011.   • Occupation: She was a Manitowoc Franciscan Sister.
  • Note: Sister Elizabeth Linders, 69, died early Tuesday evening, October 28, 1986 at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday at Holy Family Convent Chapel, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Flavian Blong O.F.M. Cap., and burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery.
    Sister Elizabeth was born February 12, 1917 at West DePere, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Peter and Clara Sausen Linders. The former Catherine Elizabeth Linders entered the Convent in 1939, professing her vows in 1942. Sister Elizabeth was a Homemaker at St. John's, Wellsburg, West Virginia; St. Paul's Home, Kaukauna, Wisconsin; Holy Rosary, Kewaunee, Wisconsin; St. Francis, Petoskey, Minnesota; Marist Seminary, Washington, D.C.; St. Peter's, Ashton, Wisconsin and St. Joseph, Oneida, Wisconsin. She also worked in the kitchen at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc for 15 years. Since her illness in March, 1986, she has been residing at Holy Family Convent.
    Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Peter Linders of DePere, Wisconsin and Bernard and Donna Linders of Lincoln, Nebraska; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann Linders of Green Bay, Florence Linders of DePere, Wisconsin, Wilhelmina and Cletus Goffard of Gillett, Wisconsin, Louise and Ray Van Boxtel of Seymour, Wisconsin, Evelyn and Norm Hug of Appleton, Mary Lou and Leroy Puls of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Patricia and Richard Przybylski of Pulaski, Wisconsin.
    Friends may call at Holy Family Convent Chapel, 4 pm to 8 pm Sunday where a prayer service will be at 7 pm. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.

    Nieuwenhuis, Eugene J. Eugene J. Nieuwenhuis, age 86, of Kimberly, died peacefully, Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born January, 17, 1920, to the late John and Mary (Schuh) Nieuwenhuis, in Hortonia, where he lived and worked on the family farm, until his marriage. He was employed in electrical maintenance at Fox Valley Technical College, until his retirement in 1982. Eugene enjoyed camping, repairing items for his family and friends and was an avid supporter of high school sports. Gene also kept busy by making rosaries for the first communicants at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Sturgeon Bay.

    He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and a volunteer at St. Joseph Food Pantry.

    Eugene is survived by four children: Linda (Joel) Barkin, Appleton; Jean (Mike) Maas, Kaukauna; David (Marilyn) Nieuwenhuis, Myrtle Beach, SC; Don (Beth) Nieuwenhuis, Darboy; grandchildren: Sarah Barkin (Jim Metcalf), Syracuse, NY; David Barkin and his special friend, Janine Bussa, Milwaukee; Bret (Yolanda) Gerrits, Kaukauna; Chad (Jennifer) Gerrits, Kaukauna; Craig (Darci) Gerrits, Kaukauna; John (Nanette) Gerrits, Kimberly; Jason (Amy) Nieuwenhuis, Oklahoma City, OK; Tracy (Jim) Crawford, Houston, TX; Kim Patnode, Milwaukee; Dan Nieuwenhuis and his fiancee, Holly Wallenfang, Kimberly; Jeff Nieuwenhuis, Darboy; Michelle Nieuwenhuis, Darboy; ten great-grandchildren: Bryce and Travis Gerrits, Hunter and Spencer Gerrits, Jaida, Delainey and Maitea Gene Gerrits, Riley Gerrits, Jacob and Hannah Nieuwenhuis. He is further survived by his special companion, Bernie Bougie; three sisters: Edith Fuss, Appleton; Agnes Nysse, Appleton; Helen (Ken) Guyette, Kimberly.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce V. (Homman) Nieuwenhuis, June 18, 2002; and a brother, Francis Nieuwenhuis.

    The funeral liturgy for Eugene will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2007, at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 North McDonald Street, Appleton, with Father David Belongea officiating. Entombment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass. A memorial fund has been established in Gene's name.
