    Jensen, Marian


    Marian Jensen 83, De Pere, passed away early Tuesday morning Sept. 29, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born June 21, 1926 in Ashwaubenon to the late Earl and Eleanor (Baeten) Burgoyne. On Dec. 28, 1957, she was united in marriage to Bob Jensen at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kewaunee. Marian graduated from Nicolet High School in 1944. She was a member of #2113 Ladies Auxiliary and also the Concerned Hearts Club and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family.

    She is survived by her two daughters and one son; Cindy (Tim) Jahnke, Howards Grove, Jill Perock, Ashwaubenon, and Mike (Donna) Jensen, Plymouth. Her four special grandchildren also survive; Ryan (Raquel) Jahnke and Matthew Jahnke, Jenna and Julia Perock. Her sister-in-law, Marian Hoks, her special friends of over 50 years Tiny O'Brien and Joyce Larscheid, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

    Marian was preceded in death by her husband Bob on Jan. 1, 1993, her son-in-law Keith Perock, members of her and Bob's family; Adele (Bob) Hoffman, Vera (Joe) Engels, Gen (Ray) Modrow, Ethel (Norb) Vaillant, Joan (Glenn) Gottier, Bernice (Pat) Kelly, Louis (Rose Van Hoof) Burgoyne, Bob (Lou) Burgoyne, Mert (Irma) Jensen, Dorothy (Ray) Lemke, Tom Hoks, Jean (Bob) Fagan, as well as her in-laws Ray and Ida Jensen.

    Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Drive De Pere from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 2nd. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem, and Deacon Mike VanderBloomen officiating. Entombment will take place in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.   • Note: Bede C. Baeten, 93, Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 29, 2015. He was born May 27, 1922 in West De Pere to Peter G. and Mary (Hoffman) Baeten. Bede was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1942, and served in Australia, New Guinea, and the Philippines. He came home in 1946. On June 26, 1947 he married Evelyn Gerlikowski, and they shared 65 years of marriage until her death on January 10, 2013. Bede and Ev were members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Green Bay. Prayer was very important to them both, they prayed together daily. Bede worked as a wood pattern maker for 38 years, 28 years at Northwest Engineering Co. and 10 years at Thews.

    Bede's happiness came from wood carving, and building. He had built 4 Grandfather clocks, and carved many birds and ducks. The family cottage at Lake Mary was a place that brought Bede and Ev much happiness, whether it was walking in the woods, or sitting on the porch swing and watching the boats go by. When Ev died, Bede lost intrest, and just wanted to "Go Home" and be with Ev. He said he couldn't live without her.

    He is survived by his sons; David (Julie) Baeten, Ronald Baeten, and his two grandchildren; Christopher and Katie.

    Bede is further survived by his siblings; Jean Shaughnessy, Minnesota, Paul (Pat) Baeten, De Pere, Allen (Janice) Baeten, De Pere. and sister in laws; Mary Eileen Baeten, Charlotte, NC, and Betty Baeten, De Pere. Bede is further survived by Ev's family; Gerry (George) Brunette,and Betty Gerlikowski.

    Bede was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Mark Baeten, Cyril Baeten, Tom (Carol) Baeten, infant sister Rita and infant brother Harold. Three Brothers in law; Patrick Shaughnessy, Ambrose Gerlikowski, and Alden (Eunice) Gerlikowski.

    Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1224 12th Ave. in Green Bay after 8:00am on Monday August 3, 2015. The Mass Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am with Fr.   • Note: Evelyn A. Baeten, 89, Green Bay, passed away Thursday evening at St. Mary's Hospital from Heart Failure. She was born February 19, 1923 in Green Bay to the late Albert and Lena Gerlikowski. She was united in marriage to Bede Baeten. Evelyn and Bede celebrated 65th wedding anniversary on June 26, 2012. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Green Bay. Evelyn was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She had many hobbies, Bridge, bowling, and many afternoon card games.

    She is survived by her husband Bede, her sons; David (Julie) Baeten, Ronald Baeten, as well as her two grandchildren, Christopher and Katie Baeten. Further surviving Evelyn, are her brother Ambrose (Betty) Gerlikowski, a sister Gerry (George) Brunette, a sister in law, Eunice Gerlikowski, as well as many nieces and nehpews and Bede's family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Alden Gerlikowski.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Ryan Krueger officiating and Fr. Loren Nys SDS concelebrating.     Mark P. Baeten, 84, of Charlotte, NC, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008. Mark, the son of Peter G. and Mary (Hoffman) Baeten, was born April 9, 1924, in De Pere.
    Mark was a graduate of St. Norbert College. He was a World War II Veteran with the US Army 320 Flight Squadron for three years in the South Pacific; Philippines, New Guinea, and Guadalcanal campaigns. His business career of 37 years was with General Motors Corporation. Mark is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Eileen Reding; daughter, Paula and her husband Marvin Schrum; daughter, Mary Claire and her husband Michael Gwyn and granddaughters Madeline and Mairin Gwyn. Surviving siblings are Bede Baeten and his wife, Evelyn; Jean Baeten Shaughnessy; Paul Baeten and his wife, Patricia; Allen Baeten and his wife, Janice; and sisters-in-law Betty Baeten and Carol Baeten, as well as his aunt Sister Mary Bede Baeten CSJ.
