    Randy Lynn Alford (Freimuth, Dorschner) of Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully in her home on December 20, 2016 at the age of 62. She was born to parents Richard and Nancy Dorschner (Stevens) on December 8, 1954 in Appleton, WI. Randy grew up a second oldest child of five and attended Appleton West High School. She married Keith Freimuth in 1973, and the couple had four children. They were married eleven years and spent nine of them living in New Braunfels Texas. In 1999 she remarried and shared the remainder of her life in Appleton with her current husband William Alford.

    Randy earned a Degree in Marketing from Fox Valley Technical College and worked for many years as a researcher for Kimberly Clark, a position that allowed her to travel to several countries around the world. She was passionate about animals and volunteered at Fox Valley Humane Society where she rescued her dogs Jasmine, Sassy and Baloo. Randy opened her heart and home to many international students over the years, providing food and a comfortable environment. Most called her "Mima", the name used by her grandchildren. She kept in touch with many of them over the years. Randy enjoyed the arts. She loved musicals, sang and danced in local theaters and performed with the Americanos Drum and Bugle Corps. She enjoyed crafts and traveling but her main focus was always her family.

    Randy is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Chris (Jacque), Jason (Fay), Sarah, Nathaniel (Tiffany) and nephew Troy who was considered a son; step-children Sandy (Rebecca), Gary (Jenna); grandchildren Brandon, Savanah, Kiera, Sadie, Elizabeth, Khalil, Natalie, Alexander, Abram, Zebedee, and Boaz; siblings Rick (Susan), Dale (Dawn) Scott (Linda) and Jacque; and father-in-law Reverend Reginald Alford . She is preceded in death by parents Richard and Nancy Dorschner, mother-in-law, Flora, and granddaughter Olivia. You were loved Mama Mima.

    Friends and family are invited to join in a 'Winter White Celebration of Life' in her honor on Wednesday December 28, 2016, drop-in between 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at ATLAS WATERFRONT CAFÉ 425 W.     Wellens, Jerome F. "Jerry" Jerome F. "Jerry" Wellens, 80, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at a local hospital surrounded by his family. He was born Jan. 27, 1926, in the town of Rockland, son of the late John and Petronella (Cornelissen) Wellens. He served his country in the United States Navy. He married Beatrice Olbrantz on Oct. 19, 1946, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere and in Oct. celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Jerry worked at Milprint as a machinist, retiring after 40 years. He also owned and operated Jerry's TV. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere, Knights of Columbus, and the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed bowling, camping, golfing, and loved playing cards with his family and many friends. Times spent with his children and grandchildren were very special to him. Jerry and his wife also enjoyed traveling together.

    Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Beatrice; four children: Sharon (Francis) Manders, De Pere; Julie (Lee) Wortiska, Casco; Laurie (Jerome) Shemoncofsky, Abrams; and David (Teri) Wellens, Denmark; nine grandchildren: Shelley (Michael) Brennan, Nicole (Robert) Cox, Jessica Erieau, Daniel Wortiska, Rachel (Timothy) Enright, and Jeremy, Benjamin, Holly, and Jeanne Wellens; two great-grandchildren, Lyric and Robby; sisters and brother: Regina Delaney, Lucille Urban, Marion Wehnes, Rita Carey, Donald Wellens; sister-in-law, Rita Wellens; Beatrice's brothers and sisters-in-law: Julius (Aura) Olbrantz, Gerald (Priscilla) Olbrantz, Norman (Renee) Olbrantz, and Norbert (Wanda) Olbrantz, and Rita Olbrantz; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Scooter.

    Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jeanne; brothers: Christian, Anthony, William, and Raymond; sister-in-law, Patricia Hendricks; and a brother-in-law, Charles Olbrantz.

    Family and friends may call Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006 from 2:30 p.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at church, with Fr. David Duffeck officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Mausoleum.   • Note: Beatrice M. Wellens, age 86, a longtime resident of De Pere, joined our dad in heaven on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. The daughter of the late Julius and Hilda (Bushman) Olbrantz was born April 7, 1927 in Appleton. She married Jerome Wellens on October 19, 1946 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and together they shared 60 years of marriage. Her passion in life was her family. Her final hours were spent with her family by her side. Times spent with her children and grandchildren were most special to her. She also enjoyed bowling, golfing, sewing, gambling, playing cards, bridge club, camping and traveling.

    Survivors include her children: Sharon (Frank) Manders, Julie (Lee) Wortiska, Laurie (Jerry) Shemoncofsky and David (Teri) Wellens; grandchildren: Shelley (Michael) Brennan, Nicole Manders, Jessica Erieau, Daniel Wortiska, Rachel (Tim) Enright, Jeremy (Sarah) Wellens, Ben Wellens, Holly (John) Schmidt and Jeanne Wellens; great-grandchildren: Lyric Manders, Robert Cox, Emily, Leah and Luke Enright, Brooklynn and Madelynn Wellens; brothers: Jerry (Priscilla) Olbrantz and Norb (Jan) Olbrantz; sisters-in-laws, Aura Olbrantz and Rita Olbrantz, special friends Dottie, Betty and Eleanor, as well as her faithful companion, Scooter.

    In addition to her husband Jerry, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanne; brothers: Obie Olbrantz, Charlie Olbrantz, Norman (Renee) Olbrantz and James Olbrantz, and a sister, Patricia (Joseph) Hendricks.

    Born on Feb. 14, 1920, in Brown County, Wis., in Rockland Township, she was the fifth child of ten children and first daughter of the late John and Petronella (Cornelissen) Wellens.

    Regina liked to share her many memories of being raised on a farm with her nine brothers and sisters and her chore of feeding the chickens as a young child.

    In June 1944, Regina met Thomas J. Delany Sr. at the south side Armory in Milwaukee. They were united in marriage two and a half months later at St. Marys Catholic Church in DePere, Wis., on Sept. 2, 1944. They were married for 52 years until his death in 1996.

    Regina was employed as a certified drug accountant at Abbott Laboratories until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Girl Scout Leader, and a member of the Girlfriends Card Club for over 50 years.

    Regina was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church and a past member of the St. Marks Christian Mothers. She was a lifelong Green Bay Packer Fan and never missed watching a game while wearing her Packers jersey. Photos of the Green Bay Packer players adorn the walls of her home and are intertwined with photos of her children. She enjoyed square dancing with the Allemande Club which was held at the Southport Beach House in Kenosha. Regina was known for her sense of humor, strong work ethic which she bestowed upon her children and her kindness and generosity.

    Regina will be deeply missed by her seven children, Patricia (Edward) Ward of Lodi, Wis., Janet (Ron) Kuryanowicz of Kenosha, Kathleen Metcalf of Kenosha, Thomas (Katie) Delany Jr. of Kenosha, John (Pamela) Delany of Kenosha, Timothy (Roberta) Delany of Deerfield, Wis., and Michael (Charlene) Delany of Kenosha. She is further survived by 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is survived by sister, Rita Carey of Oconto, and brother, Donald Wellens of Oconto Falls.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Delany Sr.; five brothers, Christian, Anthony, Raymond, Bill and Jerome; and two sisters, Lucille Urban and Marian Wehnes.

    The family would like to thank the staff at Brookside Care Center for their compassion and care and a special thank you to caregiver Julee Smith.

    Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, from the Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Marks Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21, at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice .

    A gentle and loving heart, Rita M. Carey, passed away suddenly July 6, 2015, at St. Clare Hospital in Oconto Falls. Rita was born on the family farm, Town of Rockland in De Pere on May 3, 1928 to the late John and Petronella (Cornelisen) Wellens, the 9th of 10 children, and was very proud of her Dutch heritage. At the age of 18 after the death of her parents, she moved to Milwaukee and worked at Phoenix Hosiery. She then moved to Stiles to help care for her brother Bill's children and that is where she met Lester Carey, fell in love and married him on May 5, 1951, at St. Patrick's Church in Stiles. Together they raised seven children. He preceded her in death 10 years ago on July 5, 2005. Always a very hard worker, once her children were in school she worked at Liquid Carbonic, the bag factory, and then at Unlimited Services. Her Catholic faith was first in her life, praying the rosary daily, and making sure her children had a Catholic education. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish in Oconto. Her life revolved around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and dearly loved her siblings, nieces and nephews. She always looked so forward to the annual Wellens family reunion. She loved having visitors, and her home was a most welcome place to be. You never left her house hungry or thirsty, her warmth and hospitality was outstanding. She was a very strong lady, surviving major surgery in April, was recovering well but God decided to call her home. She is leaving behind many broken hearts.

    Rita is survived by four daughters and three sons; Diane (James) Younger, Karen (Ron) Tappa, Joanne (Gary) Moody, Anne (Tim) Burie; Dave (Debbi) Carey, Kevin (Barb) Carey, Richard (Faye) Carey, 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren,7 step-grandchildren, 11 step-great grandchildren her brother and his wife, Don and Carol Wellens, sister-in-law Rita Wellens, and very many special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester, four brothers and spouses, Chris, Ray, Bill (Bonnie and Ruth), Tony (Eleanor), and Jerome (Beatrice) Wellens, three sisters, Regina (Tom) Delany, Lucille (Lee) Urban and Marion (Ed) Wehnes.

    The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 PM to 9 PM Thursday July 9, 2015 with prayer services by Deacon Walter Kaszynski at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, July 10, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev.
