To be with her God, she was an active member of Appleton Alliance Church. Beth was employed at Innovative Services and previously at Lutheran Social Services and Valley Packaging Inc. as a job coach. Her life's work was to serve the handicapped. She had many friends.

    Beth is survived by four children: Alfred (Jill) and Jessica Foth, Sarah Sherer and Russell Wons, all of Appleton; grandchildren: Dalton Foth, Jayson Sherer Jr., DreVaughn Roberts and Erin Harpt; mother Gloria Ebben; brothers: David (Elizabeth), William (Elisabeth) and Gerard Ebben; sister Barbara (Richard Ray) Ebben; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Florence L. Strover, Harry and Marie Ebben; aunt and uncle Harriet and Arnold Vandenberg.

    Visitation Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME and Friday from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11 a.m. at APPLETON ALLIANCE CHURCH (2693 W.     She married Lawrence "Larry" Diny on July 31, 1948 at St. Mary's of the Angels, Green Bay. She was a member at St. Clare Parish - Greenleaf Site, where she was active in the Altar Society.

    Doris worked at St. Vincent Hospital as a surgical technician. She also worked at Tec Systems and volunteered at Christian Outreach for more than 25 years.

    She is survived by her daughter, Barb (Fran) Gerrits, grandson Paul (Kirstin) Rasmussen; son Bill (Diane) Diny, grandson Kevin (Danielle) Diny, great-grandchildren Emily, Nicholas and Eric, grandson Stephen (Holly) Diny, great-grandchildren Autumn, Ella and Riley; daughter Kitty (Wally) Guns, granddaughter Haley (Matt) Beamen, great-grandchildren Carly and Lucas, grandson Eric (Michelle) Guns, great-grandchildren Riley and Logan, grandson Zachary (Angie) Guns, great-grandchildren Blake and Josephine; daughter Karen (Steve) Hibbard, grandson Christopher (Jody) Hibbard, great-grandchildren Elliott and Oliver, granddaughter Holly (Jesse) Koltz, great-grandson Mason, granddaughter Amanda (Jason) Hibbard, great-grandson Alexandre, grandson Noah (Laura) Hibbard; daughter Toni Jahnke, granddaughters Meleah (Brad) Schwittay and Marissa Jahnke (fiancé Drew Oudenhoven).

    She is further survived by her sister, Mary DePrey, sister Betty (Lee) Olsen, brother Tom (Bonnie) Maes, siblings-in-law Sharon Maes, Patricia Maes, Germaine Diny, Patricia Diny, Jerry (Carol) Diny, Toddy Daanen, and Mary (Jack) Dresdow.

    Doris was preceded in death by her husband Larry, parents Clarence and Helen, daughter Joanne, and great-grandson Mitchell.

    She is further preceded by her parents-in-law, Nick (Nettie) Diny, siblings Ruth (Kurt) Harstern, Phyllis (James) Doyen, John (Jean) Maes, Jim Maes, Jean (Jerry) Fameree, Richard (Anne) Maes, Larry (Sharon) Maes and Frank Maes. Also preceded are her in-laws, John (Margaret) Diny, Leo Diny, Nick Diny Jr., Dan DePrey, Ken Paral, and Gerald Daanen.

    Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2018. A short prayer will close the evening.

He was born on December 21, 1967, Appleton, son of James and Kathleen (Holtz) Reinke. Rob was currently employed with Expera Specialty Solutions, Kaukauna. In his free time, Rob enjoyed going off-roading and building Toyota trucks. He also enjoyed drinking Coca-Cola and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. Rob served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

    Rob is survived by his son: Devin Reinke; parents: James "Jim" (Sue) Reinke and Kathleen Atkins; fiancé: Melanie Martinco; Melanie's children: Adam (Brittany), Joseph, and Jessica Sabel, and Erika and Garrett Halbach; siblings: Tracy (James) Fitzgerald, Jensina (Nicholas) Simonis, Kirsten (Clifford) Gamble, Joshua and Justin Reinke; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.     John R. Maes, 81, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2015. He was born on January 22, 1934, in Green Bay to Clarence and Helen Maes. John graduated from Premontre High School in 1952. Shortly after graduating he began his over 40 year career with LeCapitaine's. His employment was interrupted for 2 years while he served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. On November 15, 1958, John married Jeanne L. Vanden Busch at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Green Bay. John loved spending time with his family and friends while playing cards, camping and watching Packers games. He also enjoyed spending time up north, traveling and particularly treasured his time with his children and grandchildren.

    He will be sadly missed by his children, Tim (Donna) Maes, Green Bay; Dave (Terri) Maes, Green Bay; Cheryl (Steve) Otten, De Pere; Pam (Lee) Martin, Wrightstown; Gary (Michelle) Maes, Green Bay; Randy (Corinna) Maes, Green Bay; grandchildren, Jessica (Jeremy) Zimmerman, Justin (Rachel) Maes, Jennifer (Joshua) Schroeder, Ryan (Laurie) Maes, Andy (Andrea) Otten, Amanda Otten (fiancé Joe LaLuzerne), Adam Otten (special friend Abbey Barnes), Emily (Joshua) Windham, Melanie, Mason and Jackie Martin, Cierra and Jayden Maes; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Richard (Anne) Maes, James (Sharon) Maes, Thomas (Bonnie) Maes; 4 sisters, Doris Diny, Ruth Hartstern, Betty (Lee) Olson, Mary Deprey; sister-in-law, Patricia Maes; many nieces, nephews, godchildren, other family and friends.

    Maes, Jeanne L. Jeanne L. Maes, 68, Bellevue, passed away on April 23, 2007, due to complications of cancer. Jeanne was born June 11, 1938, to the late Herman and Marjorie (Mercier) Vanden Busch in Green Bay. On Nov. 15, 1958, she married John R. Maes at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Green Bay. Jeanne's most important job was caring for her children. After her children were grown she worked for Early Times Daycare and Riverside Ballroom in Green Bay. Jeanne loved time with her family. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and Friday night fish fries. She also liked traveling, camping, shopping and playing cards.

    She will be sadly missed by her husband of 48 years, John R.     James E. Maes, 79, Sun City, Arizona, formerly of Kelly Lake and Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2016. He was born on January 30, 1937, in Green Bay, the son of late Clarence and Helen (Smits) Maes.

    James married Sharon Stevenson on April 20, 1963, in Green Bay. They recently celebrated their anniversary of 53 beautiful years together, raising their family and having fun with friends. James retired from James Rivers Paper Company after 40 years, and enjoyed his retirement with Sharon as snowbirds, traveling between Kelly Lake and Sun City, Arizona.

    James is survived by his wife, Sharon Maes; his children, Douglas (Wendy) Maes of Howard, Jill (Michael) Stencil of Suamico, Dennis (Mary) Maes of Glendale, Arizona, and Heather (Alan) Deutschendorf of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jerod Maes, Ryan Maes, Kimberly Stencil, Kristen Stencil, Alan Deutschendorf III, and Natalie Deutschendorf; his mother-in-law, Erma Stevenson; his siblings, Thomas (Bonnie) Maes, Doris Diny, Mary Deprey, and Betty (Lee) Olson; sisters-in-law, Pat Maes, and Shirley Steingraber; brother-in-law, Scott (Diana) Stevenson.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, Orin Stevenson; his siblings, Ruth (Kurt) Hartstern, Phyllis (James) Doyen, John (Jean) Maes, twin sister Jean (Jerry) Fameree, Richard (Anne) Maes, Larry (Sharon) Maes, and Frank Maes; brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law Kenneth Paral, Larry Diny, Daniel Deprey, Gail Maes, and Donald Steingraber.

He served in the US Army from 1955 until 1958 being stationed in Germany. On June 9, 1990, he married Jean Paral in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on April 6, 2011. Jerry was employed at Imperial Eastman in Manitowoc for many years until his retirement and later worked at Paral's Group Treatment Home. He loved the Green Bay Packers and his John Deere tractor.

    Survivors include two daughters: Vicki Fameree, Kellnersville; Kim Fameree, Princeton; four step-children and their spouses: Mark and Theresa Paral, Mishicot; Lynn and Gary Kinjerski, Mike and Kathy Paral, Brian and Melanie Paral, all of Kewaunee; one grandson: David Sturm, New Franken; 13 step-grandchildren: Casey (Liz) Paral, Becky Paral, Jessica (Ricky) Karnopp, Melissa (Mark Simonar) Kinjersjki, Kayla (Sam) Dowd, Donnie (Jessica) Paral, Joe (Kendal) Paral, Adam (Tina) Paral, Christine Paral, Brittany Paral, Clayton Paral, Jacoby Paral, Brienna Paral; five step great-grandchildren: Alazay, Gavin, Logan, Leigh and Tyler; a beloved Goddaughter: Brenda Hendries; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Doris Diny, Ruth Harstern, John Maes, Jim and Sharon Maes, Dick and Ann Maes, Mary Deprey, Betty and Lee Olson, Tom and Bonnie Maes; special extended family: Audrey Thomas, Fran Paral, Bob and Sue Paral, Katie and Steve Malchek and family, Rich and Chris Kinjerski and family, John and Carol Baetsen and family, and many special foster children. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Agnes Fameree and his wife: Jean Fameree.

    Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m.on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street in Manitowoc. Officiating at the Memorial Service will be the Rev. Benjamin Schaefer. Military Honors will be accorded by the Manitowoc V.F.W.Otto Oas Post #659. A reception will be held at All-Care Reception Center located across from the funeral home following the service. Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Jerry will be laid to rest at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers, on Monday, October 29, 2012.

    The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 p.m.

  • Note: Richard E. Maes Sr., 77, a lifelong resident of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016, with his loving wife of by his side as she had been for 57 years of married life. He was born September 25, 1938, to Clarence and Helen (Smits) Maes. Richard graduated from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Grade School, attended Catholic Central High School, and graduated from East High School in 1957. He enlisted in the U.S. Army shortly after, serving both active duty and in reserves before being honorably discharged. After several years of working in construction, Richard began a long career with Procter & Gamble Paper Company. He served as Union President for Proctor and Gamble as well as for Area 10 in the Papermakers AFL-CIO CLC.

    On October 4, 1958, her married Anne Steeno, his high school sweetheart. The couple was blessed with six children, 13 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. The newest member of the Maes clan is expected this summer.

    Richard's faith was important to him and he shared his time and talents as a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, as an usher at his parish, and as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing golf, watching the Brewers and Packers, and any sporting event that involved his child or grandchild. He was their biggest fan!

    He is survived by wife, Anne Maes; four daughters, Sandra Maes, Patricia Maes, Judith (special friend, Rex Hansen) Linders, and Lisa (Paul) Tilkens, all of Green Bay; a son, Richard (Dr. Holly) Maes Jr. Danville, IL; 12 grandchildren, Melodie, Christina, Richard III, Joshua, Amber, Nicole, Benjamin, Andrew, Elizabeth, Michelle, Ross, and Casey; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, three sisters, and their spouses, Jim and Sharon Maes, Tom and Bonnie Maes, Doris Diny, Mary Deprey, Betty and Tim Olson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pat Maes, Larry and Judy Steeno, Daniel and Dorothy Steeno, Phil and Lynne Steeno, Timothy and Caroline Steeno, Margaret "Pegi" and Conrad Umentum, Jane and Ron Renier, and Bea Toth; numerous nieces and nephews.

    He was greeted in heaven by his daughter, Susan Maes; a grandson, Brandon; his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sylvester and Mary Steeno; and six siblings.

    Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. There will be a parish wake service at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation will continue from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. John Harper officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
