Barbara Ann Bergmann

She was born on March 18, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Howard and Helen (Olson) Bergman. On April 7, 1978, she married her loving husband Aloysius Hermes in Appleton, WI. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon and devoted her time in Home Care visiting the sick and elderly. Barbara always reached out to people asking if they need help. She enjoyed reading books and watching her daily soap operas.

    Barbara is survived by her husband, Al of Green Lake; one son, Gregory Allen Peterson of Green Lake; two daughters, Christy (Darryl) Borchert and Sheryl Peterson both of Waupaca; one sister, Dorie Mallison of Waupaca; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce and Judy.

    A Memorial Service will be held for Barbara at noon on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Divine Passage Funeral Home in Ripon with Pastor Joshua Pegram officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.     Regina K. Minten, 96, De Pere, passed away peacefully in the presence of her children on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007.
    She was born March 2, 1911, in De Pere to the late John and Ann (Schampers) Smits. She married Tony Minten at St. Boniface Catholic Church in De Pere. Regina retired from Milprint in 1976. She enjoyed playing Bridge and had belonged to several different Bridge clubs. Regina was a member of the St. Boniface Christian Mothers and the De Pere Women's Club. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family.
    She is survived by her sons, Richard (Sharon) Minten, Egg Harbor; Paul (Jean) Minten, De Pere; her son-in-law, Daniel Bohm, Green Bay; her nine grandchildren, Donna (David) Karcz, Jeanne (Dan) Baeten, Mitch (Lori) Bohm, Nancy Bohm, Cyndi (Rich) Barrett, Rick (Nancy) Minten, Steve (Wendy) Minten, Jackie (Mike) Crown, Alisa (Byron) Conway; 19 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Regina is also is survived by her sister, Leona Krueger, numerous nieces, nephews, and her great neighbor and friend, Fritz Coenen.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; her daughter, Dolores "Dolly" Bohm; and her siblings, Norbert, Marvin, Ceil, and Lilly.
    Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere. Visitation will continue after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Drive, De Pere. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with Regina's nephew, Fr. Ken Smits O.F.M. Capuchin, officiating and Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem., concelebrating.   • Death: Anna Adrians died on November 18, 1904, at age 37, in Kaukauna, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Burial: She was buried in Holy Cross, Kaukauna, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Mrs. Anna Ristau, wife of Charles Ristau, aged 37 years, died Friday evening, November 18, at ten o’clock, from heart trouble, at her home on Depot street.



    Mrs. Ristau’s last sickness dated from about five weeks ago when her physician prescribed out door air for her and she had been taken out riding daily until she had to desist and remain in bed. Her disease gradually grew worse until the final end came in unconsciousness and death.



    Deceased, whose maiden name was Miss Anna Adrians, was born in the town of Freedom and having resided in this immediate vicinity all her life was widely acquainted within the city and the neighboring town districts where hosts of friends mourn her death and deeply sympathize with the bereaved husband and children in this sad hour of affliction. She was a thorough Christian wife and mother, a devout member of the Catholic church, and in the family circle where her pleasant nature was a joy and comfort to the household, her loss is irretrievable. She was married here in Kaukauna to Charles Ristau, August 14, 1888, and has ever since resided in this city where all their large family of children have been born. Surviving are her husband and eight children, her mother in Colby, three sisters and two brothers. The children are: Alma, Lillian, Evaline, Bernice, Charles, Leroy, Gordon and Lucille. Her sisters are Mrs. Henry Edar and Mrs. Minnie Childs of Colby, and Mrs. Julius Wolf of Ashland. The brothers are Nic Adrians of Appleton, and Peter Adrians of Colby.



    The funeral obsequies of Mrs. Ristau were held at Holy Cross church Monday morning at 9:00 o’clock and the tribute to her memory was attested by the large concourse of friends and relatives which filled that large edifice to the doors. Rev. Father Rohde administered the last sad rites of the church and she was laid at rest in Holy Cross cemetery.



    The pall bearers were Herman Runte, Daniel Reardon, Peter Eimmerman, Theodore Schmalz, Peter Helf and Louis Vanevenhoven.



    Among those who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Henry Edar, Mrs. M. Childs, Peter Adrians and son John of Colby; Nic Miller, the Misses Mae, Minnie and Matt Juley of Green Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Nic Adrians, Mr. and Mrs. Con. Murphy, Mr. and Mrs. Stenacre, Appleton; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zittlow, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Schmidt, Wrightstown; Mrs. Frederick Kuehn of Ripon; James Garvey and wife and William Hoebe and wife of Freedom; John Hoebe and wife of Little Chute; William Luska and wife, Sniderville; and Mr. and Mrs. Gus. Ristau of Sherwood.
