    Barbara Jean Siebers

    Age 37, Nurse for Quality Life Concepts died late last week. She was born March 24, 1965 in Menominee, Michigan to David and Karen Siebers and was raised in Marinette, Wisconsin. Barb graduated from Marinette Catholic Central High School in 1983 and did a four year stint in the U.S. Army as a medic stationed in Alaska. After getting out of service, she attended Marian College in Fond du Lac where she graduated with a bachelor of Science Nursing. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Great Falls, Montana where she got a job at Columbus Hospital and stayed with the hospital for a short time after the merger of Benefis Healthcare. Most recently she was employed as a nurse for Quality Life Concepts, a job she very much loved. She enjoyed horseback riding, camping, reading and spending time with family and friends.

    Survivors include her mother and step dad, Karen and Robert Taylor, home base of Great Falls, full time RV'ers. Brothers, Larry and Karen Siebers, Kaukauna, Ken and Deb Siebers, Marinette; Paul and Jean Siebers, Green Bay; sister, Rita and John Tarnowski, Great Falls, Montana; nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Chadd Siebers; Elisa/ Corey, Jeff and Benn Siebers, Andrew and Stephanie Siebers, Rebecca, Tom, Kevin and Katie Tarnowski; grandparents, Dorthea Lang, Brooklyn, Iowa; Tom and Eleanor Keough, Amsterdam, Missouri.

    Preceded in death by her father, David F. Siebers and her grandparents, Leo and Margaret Siebers, and Lawrence Lang.

    Age 62, loving husband, father and grandfather died Thursday, November 14, 1996 following a courageous battle with cancer. David was born September 26, 1934 in Kaukauna, son of the late Leo Siebers and Margaret Siebers of Kaukauna. On October 26, 1957 he married Karen Lang of Brooklyn, Iowa, they lived most of their married life in Marinette. They moved to Great Falls, Montana in 1995. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and ham radio [call sign Ka9rto], painting and electronics. He was a leader in Cub Scouts, president of the Holy Name Society in Wisconsin. He also worked in the Hospice Program in Marinette. He was also involved in the Marriage Enrichment Program, Parish Council and was ordained a Deacon in the Catholic Church and served as a Weekend Supervisor for a Homeless Shelter. He attended Colleges at Marinette and Des Plaines, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He did maintenance work at various places in Wisconsin and Illinois before working at Performance Olds and Rocky Mountain Auto Mall in Great Falls, where he retired in October.

    Survivors include his wife, Karen, Great Falls, Montana; a son, Larry Siebers and wife Karen and their children, Jennifer and Chadd, Kaukauna; son Ken Siebers and wife, Deborah, and their children, Elisa, Jeffrey, Benjamin, Marinette; daughter, Rita Tarnowski and husband John and their children, Becky, Tommy and Kevin, Great Falls, Montana; a son, Paul Siebers and wife, Jean and their children, Andrew and Stephanie, Green Bay; a daughter, Barbara Siebers, Fond du Lac; his mother, Margaret Siebers, Kaukauna; a sister, Patricia Buelow, Hilbert; a brother, Daniel Siebers, Shiocton.

    Memorial services will be held at Schauer and Schumacher Funeral, Green Bay, Wednesday, November 20, 1996, visitation is 3-9 p.m. Services at 7 p.m. Creamation took place at O'Connor Funeral Home, Great Falls, Montana.
