He was born on January 14, 1936, in the Town of Fremont, the son of the late Herbert and Alvina (Walbruck) Krause. On June 9, 1962, Dave married Eloise Biese at Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield. Dave farmed in the Bloomfield area for 18 years, and then worked as a truck driver for Morning Glory for 27 years before retiring. Dave was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in the Town of Lind. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and deer hunting. Dave is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eloise; a daughter, Julie(Lee)Hansen, Weyauwega; three sons, Scott (Kathy), Fremont, Paul(Dawn) Fremont; and Mark(Tara), Kimberly;12 grandchildren, Lonnie(Karen) Hansen, Wrightstown, Lynnette(Shawn) Reid, FL; LuAnn(Greg)Jensen, WA; Brenda Hansen, Duluth, MN; Adam, Jordan and Hailey Krause, Fremont, Austin and Logan Krause, Fremont, and Landon, Owen and Alex Krause, Kimberly; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Leland(Lois)Krause, Weyauwega; a sister, Carol Handrich, Fremont; three brothers-in-law, Ron(Ruth)Biese, Weyauwega; Jim (Betty) Biese, Appleton; and Richard Biese, Appleton; three sisters-in-law, Bev(Vern)Evers, Appleton, Carol(Keith)Rondou, Wild Rose, and Sarah(Dave)Huebner, Waupaca; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, many friends, and his "buddy", Chase. Dave was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Stuart Handrich. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Emmaus Lutheran Church, N180 County Rd. A, Waupaca. Rev. H William Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, West Bloomfield. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for Emmaus Lutheran Church.

    Jansen, Paul Paul M. Jansen, 87, King, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2006. He was born April 13, 1919, in Darboy, son of George and Clara (Kuepper) Miller, who preceded him in death. Paul was then raised by his aunt and uncle, his loving adoptive parents, George and Laura Jansen. Mr. Jansen was an officer of the United States Army and a World War II veteran. He was also a member of the Leo Van Roy American Legion Post #265, Darboy and the Forty & Eight Veterans Organization. Upon return from serving his country Paul continued his education and graduated from Lawrence University. He was the Credit and Insurance Manager for Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company until his retirement.

    Paul enjoyed his pet dog, golfing, fishing, music, cards, bowling, pool, reading, and life itself.

    He is survived by his three daughters: Olivia (Joe) Wittmann, Patricia Jansen, Paula (Ralph) Johnson; 11 Grandchildren: Joseph, Paul (Tasha), John (Lori), Richard, Linda Jo (John), Laura (Max), Michael (Samantha), Ralph III, Lisa, Michelle, and Kurt; 16 great grandchildren; his former wife, Mildred J. Jansen; a sister, Eleanor Schuh and two nephews.

    A visitation and gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, with military rites conducted by the William Verhagen American Legion Post #60, Kimberly to follow. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.

    Mildred was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where later she married Paul M. Jansen at her home parish, St. Peter and Paul on April 24, 1941. When they moved to Darboy, she became very involved in parish life. Mildred helped with the church picnics, school committees, parish council, bible study, religious education and visiting the sick. She was a lifelong student of scriptures. Mildred was also a long time member and a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Leo Van Roy Post #265.

    Mildred was a kind and gentle woman who accepted everyone just the way they were and appreciated the uniqueness of each individual.

    Mildred is survived by her three daughters: Olivia (Joe) Wittmann, Patricia Jansen, Paula (Ralph II) Johnson; 11 grandchildren: Joseph, Paul, John (Lori), Richard, Linda Jo (John), Laura (Max), Michael, Ralph III (Becky), Lisa, Michelle (Nate) and Kurt; 17 great grandchildren; a sister, LaVerne Lauder and a sister-in-law, Eleanor Schuh.

    Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Celia (St. Germaine) Dugan; a sister, Victoria Howard; and her former husband, Paul M. Jansen.

    Visitation will be at Holy Spirit Parish, Holy Angels, Darboy, W2796 Cty. Hwy. KK, Appleton, WI, Friday June 21, 2013, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass at 11:30 a.m., with Fr. Donald Zulegar officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy.
