He graduated from St. Paul Catholic school an d was a junior at the Wrightstown High School. Survivors include his parents, two brothers, Dale, Milwaukee; Roger, St. Paul, Minnesota; thr ee sisters Mary of Milwaukee; Diane and Joane at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ar nold Verbeten, ; Paternal grandparents, Mrs. Mary Smith of De Pere.

  • Note: Elizabeth A. Haessly, 41, Wrightstown, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 6, 1963, in Chicago, to the late Joseph and Kathleen (Bober) Gajewski. Elizabeth married Rick Haessly on Sept. 6, 1986, in Green Bay. She graduated from Marinette High School in 1981.

    Liz worked at Schneider National for 13 years as a Customer Service Manager. She was active with the WI Relay for Life, taught religious education at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Wrightstown, was a Cub Scout Den Leader and enjoyed watching her son play sports, as well as scrap booking and gardening. Elizabeth was a Chicago Bears Fan and loved it when the Bears beat the Packers.

    Survivors include her husband, Rick; a son, Joshua; brothers and sisters, Mary Kay (Larry) Ellner, Marshfield, Joseph (Megan) Gajewski, Geneva, Ill., Ann (Scott) Kaufman, Pulaski, Edward (Uyen) Gajewski, Sommeset, N.J., Julie (Greg) Yourczek, Little Falls, Minn., Michael Gajewski, Ohio, and Veronica (Jamie) Zorn, Pulaski; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Veronica "Cookie" and Eugene "Turk" Haessly, Kaukauna; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sue (John) Jansen, Kaukauna, Steve (Marge) Haessly, Hollandtown, Scott (Lynette) Haessly, Illinois, Sandy (Jim) Roeser, Green Bay, Jon (Deb) Kirk, Combined Locks, and David (Maureen) Haessly, Kaukauna. She is further survived by 23 nieces; and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

    Friends may call at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Wrightstown, on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Wake service 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at the church with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.

    Copiskey, Roy J. Roy J. Copiskey, 92, Wrightstown, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001. He was born on July 3 0, 1909 in the Sturgeon Bay area to Henry and Mary (Wellever) Copiskey. He married Coletta Th eunis on Oct. 24, 1939 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown. She preceded him in death Au gust 15, 1999. He came to Wrightstown as a barber in 1937 and continued to barber there unti l July 2001, owning and operating Roy's Barber Shop. Among Roy's greatest loves in life wer e his family, garden, fishing, and playing cribbage. He was a member of the Holy Name Society , Catholic Order of Foresters, and was Treasurer of his bowling league for many years. He is survived by two daughters, Carol (Elmer) Stenzel, Wrightstown; Linda Tetzlaff, Wrightst own; six grandchildren, John (Nancy) Stenzel, Joe (Kathy) Stenzel, Missy (Jim) Robbins, Mik e (Cathy) Stenzel, Leah (Brad) Tetzlaff-Barnes, and Jeff Tetzlaff; ten great-grandchildren; t wo sisters Laura Klaun and Eleanor Baum. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Coletta, three brothers, one sister, and a so n-in-law, Darrell Tetzlaff. Friends may call on Saturday Sept. 8, 2001 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Chu rch, Wrightstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m. at the church with Father Bob K abat officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightst own is assisting the family with arrangements.

    Mrs. Peter Bolssen, 80, route 2, Kaukauna, died at her home at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. She was in a wheelchair since suffering a paralytic stroke two years ago.
    Mrs. Bolssen was born in Connecticut on Dec. 10, 1879, and moved to the town of Kaukauna as a young woman.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the DeWane Funeral home, Wrightstown, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today and at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
    Surviving are the widower; eight sons, Herman Meulemans, Nichols, Anton Meulemans and Raymond Bolssen, both of Kaukauna, Fred Bolssen, Appleton, Arthur Bolssen, Readfield, harry Bolssen, Wrightstown, William Bolssen, Seymour, and George Bolssen, Reedsville; one sister, Mrs. Peter VandeVoort, Little Chute; 37 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
