    Lorraine Calhoun Hauch, age 87, died Friday, July 21, 2006, at Franciscan Woods, in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Lorraine was born on May 27, 1919, in Waukegan, Illinois, to the late Alvin and Elva (Rassmussen) Calhoun. She married Dr. Francis M. Hauch; he preceded her in death on October 21, 1985. Lorraine was well-known for her active participation in community affairs, especially her volunteering efforts at the Outagamie County Library and the Outagamie County Historical Society. She was an avid reader, a world traveler and long-time member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Piette, Delafield, Wisconsin; her sons, Dr. James (Marie) Hauch, Boardman, Ohio, and Richard Hauch (Toni Ciccanti), Seattle, Washington; her grandchildren, Julie (Brian) DiFuccia, Brian Larson, James Hauch and Nick Hauch. Funeral services will at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 South State Street, Appleton, with Fr. Bob Lexa officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial has been established in Lorraine's name to benefit Franciscan Woods in Brookfield.

    Keller, Josephine "Jody" Josephine "Jody" Keller, 96, Juneau, Wis., formerly of Appleton and Watertown, Wis. and Chicago, Ill., died on Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau, Wis.

    Josephine was born Justinia Catherine Brooks in the village of Little Chute, Wis., on Oct. 9, 1909, the daughter of John and Mary (Joosten) Brooks. She went by the name of Josephine most of her life, but her siblings called her "Tina." She met her first husband when they were both employed at Zwicker Knitting Mills of Appleton, Wis. She married Herbert John Brandt on Nov. 2, 1935, at Appleton. Two sons were born before they were divorced on Nov. 22, 1949, and Herb later passed away on Aug. 9, 1985. Josephine next married George Van Eyck on Oct. 20, 1951. They enjoyed going on many trips together and celebrated their 25th anniversary on Oct. 20, 1976. George passed away on Jan. 10, 1984. Josephine next married Robert Keller on Feb. 14, 1990, at which time she took the name of "Jody." Bob passed away on June 6, 2002. "Jody" liked going for walks, and she especially enjoyed dancing up to the age of 92.

    She is survived by her two sons, Gerald (Joanne) Brandt, Watertown, Wis.; and Kenneth (Bonnie) Brandt, Spooner, Wis.; five grandchildren, Susan (Tim) Mueller, Watertown, Wis.; Sandra (David) Seelow, Marshfield, Wis.; Keith (Karen) Brandt, Sturtevant, Wis.; Wayne (Valerie) Brandt, Marion, Iowa; Brian (Carrie) Brandt, Pahrump, Nev.; three step-grandchildren, Jane Chung, Oshkosh, Wis.; Mark (Wendi) Roell, McDonough, Ga.; and Mary (David) Borth, Watertown, Wis.; 17 great-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Harold Brooks, Appleton.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; and four sisters; May (Erwin) Schmidt, Wilma (Joseph) Cooper, Harriet (Archie) Miers, and Grace Brooks; granddaughter, Vicki Brandt; and great-granddaughter, Madison Brandt.

    A private memorial service will be held by the immediate family.

    Age 75, died Friday, August 9, 1985 at Colony Oaks Care Center, Appleton. He was born August 22, 1909 at Polar, Langlade County, Wisconsin to the late, William and Lena [Hose] Brandt Sr. He married on November 2, 1935 to Josephine Brooks in Appleton and were late divorced. He married Agnes [Schwanke] Reetz on August 23, 1952 in Appleton. He was formerly employed at the Zwicker Knitting Mills, Appleton for 25 years and later was the owner of Brandt Liquor Store in Kaukauna until he retired. He was a member of St. Mathew Lutheran Church, Appleton.

    He is survived by his wife, Agnes; two sons and daughters in-law; Gerald and Joanne, Watertown, Wisconsin; Kenneth and Bonnie, Shawano; a step-son and his wife, Robert and Virginia Reetz, Woodbury, Connecticut; a step-daughter, Mary Daniels, Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; two brothers; Edwin Brandt, Appleton; William Brandt, Menasha; six sisters; Helen Roehl, Margaret [Marvin] Beyer, all of Appleton; Vera DeLain, Neenah; Edna [Hervey] Hartjes, Kaukauna; Arlene [Robert] Schultz, both of Menasha.

    He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Brandt and a granddaughter.

    Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 1985 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Appleton with Rev. David Pagel officiating. His final resting place will be in Highland Memorial Park.

    Age 81, died at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 1984, following a long illness. He was born August 4, 1902, in Green Bay and had been an area resident most of his life. Mr. Van Eyck was employed by the S.C. Shannon Company for 20 years until his retirement in 1967. He was a member of the Riverview Lutheran Church and the Appleton Golden Agers Club. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Van Eyck; three daughters and sons-in-law: Betty and Carl Pickering, Appleton; Delores and Wayne Glasnap, Fair Oaks, Calfiornia; Darleen and Earl Pasano, Neenah; a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Judy Van Eyck, San Diego, California; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law; Gerald and Joanne Brandt, Watertown, Wisconsin; Kenneth and Bonnie Brandt, Shawano; five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren. The complete funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 1984, at the Wichman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lyle Luchterhand officiating. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum.     Appleton

    Currently a resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, died Thursday, June 6, 2002. He was born in Kaukauna on March 18, 1920, the son of the late Mathias and Mary (Blair) Keller.

    He served his country in the Army during World Way II, where he was awarded both the Silver Star and Purple Heart. Bob worked at Kimberly-Clark and retired after 25 years. He then moved to Mountain, Wisconsin to open a small business. After five years there, he returned to Appleton to pursue his other passions including planting trees and flowers and watching birds. He had an unbelievable zest for life and used every minute to its fullest. Bob was a good husband, loving father and a kind, gentle, and giving man. He had a great sense of humor. Just talking with him would clear up the cloudiest of days. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

    His survivors include his wife: Josephine "Jody" eight children: Mary Ann (Gene) Adams, Rita (Bill) Sell, Robert (Brenda) Keller, Dolores (Roger) Johnson, Michael (Kathryn) Keller James (Mary) Keller, Dale (Mary Ellen) Keller, and Tammy (Todd) Kimball a brother, Jerry Keller a sister, Katherine (Robert) Donnemeyer 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of their children, Harriet his second wife, Mary a daughter, Patricia two brothers and three sisters.

    The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at Valley Funeral Home, with a clergyman of St. Mary's in Greenville officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, June 10, 2002 and again on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Military honors and burial will take place at 2:30 pm on Tuesday at Holy Cross Cemetery in Kaukauna.

    A memorial fund is being established in Bob's name.

    Age 69, passed away Tuesday morning after a short illness. He was born August 21, 1899 in Cass City, Michigan and was a resident of Homewood, Illinois for the past 18 years. Mr. Miers was a mechanical engineer for the New York Central Railroad for 26 years.

    Survivors are his wife, Harriet Brooks Miers; two daughters, Mrs. Janet Suzanne Oliver, Chesterfield, Missouri; Mrs. Gail Rasmussen, Detroit, Michigan; one son,
