    Vogel, Charlotte Charlotte Vogel, 72, Woodway, Texas, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007. Charlotte was born Sept. 23, 1935, in Green Bay, Wis., to Charles and Margaret (Bruso) Fritsch. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis as a young adult. She helped establish the Green Bay MS chapter. She was featured on the cover of a 1984 National Multiple Sclerosis magazine along with a feature article on living and dealing with MS.

    She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Tom Vogel; brothers: Charles Fritsch and wife, Dolores, Fond du Lac, Wis.; Dennis Fritsch and wife, Laura, Oakdale, Wis.; Doug Fritsch and wife, Nancy, Appleton, Wis.; sisters: Caroline Lemke and husband, Marvin, Appleton, Wis.; Colleen Zak and husband, Steve, Appleton, Wis.; Bernadette Schultz and husband, Bill, Neenah, Wis.; and Clarice Vanderheiden and husband, Neil, Menasha, Wis.

    Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret; a brother, Norbert Fritsch; and a niece, Julie Danelski.

    A memorial service will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.

    A Memorial Mass will be offered for Charlotte Vogel on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Appleton, Wis. Charlotte Vogel, 72, Woodway, Texas, died on Dec. 8, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Dec. 12, 2007, at St. Jerome's Catholic Church with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.

    Charlotte was born Sep. 23, 1935, in Green Bay, Wis., to Charles and Margaret (Bruso) Fritsch. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis as a young adult. She helped establish the Green Bay MS chapter. She was featured on the cover of a 1984 National Multiple Sclerosis magazine along with a feature article on living and dealing with MS. She was an avid country music fan and singer and had her own Saturday radio program on WHBY in Appleton, Wis. She was a former member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame religious community.

    She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Tom Vogel; brothers, Charles Fritsch and wife, Dolores, Fond du Lac, Wis.; Dennis Fritsch and wife, Laura, Oakdale Wis.; sisters, Carolyn Lemke and husband, Marvin, Appleton, Wis.; Colleen Zak and husband, Steve, Appleton, Wis.; Bernadette Schultz and husband, Bill, Neenah, Wis.; and Clarice Vanderheiden and husband, Neil, Menasha, Wis.

  • Note: Obit Anna M. Buechler Johns, formerly of Wrightstown, died Sunday evening in a Green Bay nursing H ome. the former Anna Buechler, she was born Aug. 11, 1911, near Wrightstown to the late Theodore a nd Anna Marie Lamers Buechler. She lived in this area all her life. Survivors are one son, Allen Johns, of Wrightstown; two grandsons; one brother, Elmer Buechle r of Wrightstown; one sister Marie Rusch of Kimberly and nieces and nephews, She was precede d in death by four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Paul Church. The Rev. Elroy E. Reimer off iciated and burial was in the cemetery. Arrangements were handled by DeWane-Cotter Funeral Ho me.
