    Terrence "Terry" McCormick, age 65, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday morning, September 28, 2004 at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 7, 1939, the son of the late William and Gladys (Ebert) McCormick. On November 12, 1960 he was united in marriage to Grace Moser. Terry loved working with horses and was the owner of McCormick Harness and Saddle Shop. He enjoyed participating throughout the Midwest in pony pulls with his Halflingers. He was in several pony pulling clubs. Terry enjoyed traveling from horse sale to horse sale, state to state trading horse related antiques and items. He loved to visit his trees up north. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour.

    He is survived by his wife, Grace his daughter and her husband, Chris and Jeff Kominowski his grandchildren, Kody and Kelsey his brother and his wife, Tom and Sally McCormick, New London his mother-in-law, Esther Moser, Seymour several nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law, Marge VanDinter, Appleton.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, and his father-in-law, Jerome Moser.

    Friends may call on Sunday, October 3, 2004 at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, from 2 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, October 4, 2004, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 915 Ivory St., Seymour, from 10 a.m. until The Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Father Martin Fox officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery.

    "You were a special Grandpa, wanting to spend as much time as you could teaching your grandchildren about your beloved horses, including pulling and roping. You will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten."

    A special thank you to all of the many friends of Terry's. Especially to Mike (Linda) Wisnieski, who was the closest he had to his own son. Also, a special thank you to Unity Hospice for all their care and concern.

    Ballard, Kenneth Paul Kenneth Paul Ballard, 58, passed away suddenly at home Saturday, April 22, 2006. He was born on June 26, 1947, in Appleton to Paul K. and Emily C. (Kons) Ballard. Kenneth married LuAnn Zuberbier on May 28, 1992, at Bethlahem Lutheran Church, Hortonville. He was a lifetime resident of Appleton and loved fishing with his son, camping, gardening and golfing on Chaska Golf Course. Kenneth also enjoyed leisure time playing sheepshead, juggling, or sipping a fine glass of wine on the back porch while bird watching. He cherished the time he spent with his granddaughter Maeson. As the oldest boy, he was thoughtful and generous to all family members and the very best big brother.

    Kenneth is survived by his wife: LuAnn; his son Klint Ballard of Appleton; stepchildren: Craig (Lori) Voight of Freedom; Kevin (Kate) Voight of Freedom; Kelly (Dan) Wilda of Appleton; siblings: Virginia (Merle) Hauser of Vero Beach, FL; Karen (John) Atten of Fox Island, WA; JoAnne (Doug) Koplien of Venice, FL; Dennis (Debbie) Ballard of Appleton; James (Agnes) Ballard of Cheney, WA; Marge Barndt and special friend Stuart Elmer of Verona, WI; Steve (Patricia) Porras of Appleton; Barbara (Dave Wuestenberg) Ballard of Menasha; Cathrine (Donn) Remmel of Fremont; Michael Ballard of Appleton; step-grandchildren: Alexis Liles and Maeson Wilda. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

    He is preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Emily Ballard.

    Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, North Highway 47, Town of Center with Pastor Jeffrey Suhr officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the Church. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund is being established.

    Ballard, Kenneth Paul The family of Ken would like to add that Ken's residence was Black Creek and his employer was First Supply Appleton where he worked for many years. Ken enlisted in the Air Force during the Vietnam era in 1966.
