    Kimberly—Charles Werth, 49, fore
    man of the wood room of Kimberly-
    Clark mill here, was killed instantly
    Saturday afternoon while attempting
    to remove a belt from a shaft while
    in motion.
    Mr. Wert, who has been an employe
    cf the mill for nearly 30 years, was
    seen going to the basement of the mill
    about 3.20 in the afternoon. About
    half an hour later the superintendent
    came to his department with the
    time checks for Mr. Werth's shift,
    but the man was not to be found.
    Thomas Holton, general foreman, began
    a search and found him lying dead
    on the cement floor of the basement.
    A broken stick lying beside him and
    the machinery running with the belt
    half off the pulley told the story- It
    is believed he tried to guide the belt
    off the pulley with the stick, when it
    broke he was thrown against the belt
    and then hurled to the floor His
    skull was crushed and his right arm
    broken.
    Mr Werth had been a resident of
    this vicinity nearly all his life. He conducted
    an ice cream parlor on Sidney
    st for a time, later moving to the
    present home on Kimbeily ave.
    Decedent is survived by his widow,
    three sons, Edward, Arthur and Har
    vey. three daughters, Mrs. Carlton
    Turiff, and Misses Amanda and Alice
    Werth, and one granddaughter, Helen
    Turiff, all of Kimberly.
    Funeral service will be held at 12-30
    Tuesday noon from the residence and
    burial will occur at Neenah.

  • Note: Judy Voster, 61, of Neenah, passed away Monday, July 12, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Judy was born November 12, 1948, in Appleton, the daughter of Adella (Schindel) Wolske, Neenah, and the late Rudolph Wolske. Judy was a graduate of Neenah High School and lived in the Fox Valley all of her life. She was united in marriage to Robert H. "Bob" Voster on August 21, 1971, in Neenah.

    The Vosters were former members of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Neenah, and Judy sang in their choir. She enjoyed traveling and going shopping with Bob. Last fall, they traveled to Germany, a wonderful holiday for the two of them.

    Survivors include her mother and husband; her sisters: Carol (Larry) Gullickson, Sioux Falls, SD; Nancy (Richard) Churchill, Oshkosh; Ruth (Pat) Head, Kaukauna; Janet (Dan) Sorenson, Neenah; and Donna (Troy) Huebner, Larsen; her brother, Richard Wolske, Valders; brothers-in-law: Ronald (Beverly) Voster, Neenah; and Roger (Diane) Voster, Menasha; and nieces and nephews: Randy, Chrissy, Sarah, Rhiannon, Staci, Zoe and Katie.

    Judy was preceded in death by her father, Rudy.

    The Funeral Service for Judy will be Friday, July 16, 2010, 12 p.m., at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.A memorial fund in Judy's honor is being established.
