  • Note: Lloyd "Gabby" L. Kraft, 86, of Seymour passed away Tuesday morning, August 7, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. He was born February 23, 1926 to Arbie (Krause) and Anthony Kraft in Milan, WI. He attended Seymour High School. Lloyd served in World War II in the United States Army in the Pacific. He also served during the Korean conflict. He worked 33 years for Proctor and Gamble.

    On April 19th, 1947 he married Esther Timmers.

    Gabby was an avid cribbage player achieving honors as a Grand National Champion. He belonged to the American Cribbage Congress, played in cribbage tournaments all over the United States. He is the only cribbage player in the world to achieve the prestigious honor of winning World Championship in Reno in 1999 and Consolation Championship in 2006. He enjoyed athletic sports, going to all high school baseball, basketball and football games, missing very few events!

    Lloyd was a member of the Krause Kraft Legion Post 106 for 65 years and a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Gabby participated in the Old Glory Honor Flight in 2010.

    He is survived by wife of 65 years Esther; three daughters and one son: Marlene Kraft, Bonduel; Anthony (Tony) and Becky Kraft, Seymour; Karen and Mike Gonnering, Seymour; Virginia (Ginny) and Tony Huberty, Green Bay; he is also survived by grandsons: Aaron (Amy) Krahn, Evan (Leanne) Krahn, Ryan (Lindsay) Kraft, Dr. Tony (Laura) Kraft, Peter Kraft (fiancée Kari), James (Tammy) Blom, Kevin Blom, Wayne (Jodi) Blom; granddaughter, Suzie (Rick) Lancelle; He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren; his best buddy Shammi (Karen and Mikes yellow lab)

    He is further survived by his brother, Vilas (Vernice) Kraft; sisters-in-law: Evelyn McGuiness, Leone Laskowski, Rose (Harry) Hill, Shirley Hirshman, and Sally (Len) Prahl; brothers-in-law: Henry Riegel, Peter (Rose) Timmers; nieces and nephews

    Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, Arbie and Anthony Kraft; daughter, Sandra; brother, Kenneth; sister, Gladys (Tom) Reed; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Lorraine (Wilmer) Jens, Eileen (Carl) Dahlen, Verla Riegel, Gordon Timmers, Arthur Laskowski, Ronald Hirshman, Richard McGuiness.

    Friends may call at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. noon with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating.   • Burial: He was buried in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Harold "Harry" D. Hill, age 86, of Seymour passed away Thursday evening, August 14, 2014 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. He was born May 15, 1928 son of the late Fred and Mary (Jordan) Hill. On November 27, 1948 he was united in marriage to Rose Timmers at St. John's in Seymour.

    Harry was the youngest of eleven children and graduated from Seymour High School in 1947. He was very active in sports including football, basketball and track, after that he played and coached softball. Harold farmed in the Town of Oneida for twenty five years and then moved to Seymour and continued working for Outagamie County as a grader operator. Following retirement he worked at Kuehne's Sales Barn on Monday's for a few years.

    He enjoyed following his children and then his grandchildren in their sporting events. He also attended many Packer games over the years. Harry enjoyed small game hunting, deer hunting in Long Lake and fishing, especially his trip to Canada.

    Harry is survived by his wife, Rose of almost 66 years; children: Kathleen (James) Fosdick, Twin Lakes; Steven (Mary) Hill, Cecil; Scott (Linda) Hill, Germantown; grandchildren: Jason, Danielle and Nicole Fosdick; Robert and Stephanie Hill; Corey and Logan Hill; also surviving is Rose's family: Evelyn McGuiness, Leone Laskowski, Peter and Rose Timmers, and Shirley Hirshman; sisters-in-law: Sally Prahl, Helen Hill; brother-in-law, Henry Reigel.

    Preceded in death by brothers: William, Robert, Howard, Fred Jr; sisters: Alma, Dorothy, Lillian, Alyce and Betty; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 4 p.m. until services at 8 p.m. with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
