  • Note: Lloyd Ivo Arnoldussen, Jr. 68, of Sun City, Arizona, died at Boswell Hospital of a severe stroke on October 11, 2010. Lloyd was born December 15, 1941, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the second of 4 children to the late Lloyd and Frances (Dorn) Arnoldussen. Lloyd was married in June 1964 in Appleton to Beatrice M. Koehnke (died December 4, 1989) of Grand Chute, WI, after serving for 3 years in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. Lloyd and Beatrice (25 years of marriage) lived most of their lives in AZ raising their 3 children. Lloyd worked as a carpenter for most of his career and enjoyed building custom homes and doing remodeling. He enjoyed fishing and loved football season.

    Lloyd is survived by his 3 children: Bruce, Daniel and Theresa, along with his siblings: Patricia Van Weddingen, Robert Arnoldussen and Pamela Castillo, and his companion of the last ten years, Susan Sherwood. He is also survived by many sisters- and brothers-in-law along with many nieces and nephews.
    A military memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., January 14, at the Veteran's National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road. Deacon Shinske will be officiating.   • Note: John G. Arnoldussen, Kaukauna, age 75, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born August 16, 1938 to the late Ivo and Marie (Fink) Arnoldussen. On February 15, 1958 he was united in marriage to Carol Meyer and together they celebrated 44 years of marriage. John was employed at Thilmany Paper Co. for over 40 years until his retirement and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. John was an avid fisherman, liked playing cards and enjoyed his volunteer work at Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry.

    He is survived by his four children: Tim (Lori), Pam (Kevin) Schaffer, Mike (Barb), and Mark; six grandchildren: Kristin (Eric) Destrampe, Kari (Jason) Londo, Craig (Tina) Huisman, Jessica (Alex) Nevermann, Tara (Nick) Rooyakkers, Joy Arnoldussen; four great-grandchildren: Kyleigh, Drew, Aubrey, and McKenzie; two sisters and four brothers: Jean Buchinger, Dianne (Floyd)) Kempen, Dan (Sue), Jim (Sue), Cliff, and Paul (April). He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carol and a brother-in-law, Richard Buchinger.

    Mass of Christian Burial for John will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at ST. ALOYSIUS CHURCH, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Family and friends will be received at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.     Age 63, died peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Friday, February 22, 2002 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 25, 1939 in Lower Cliff, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Theodore and Anna (Fiedler) Meyer. On February 17, 1958 Carol married John "Jack" Arnoldussen at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood. The couple recently celebrated 44 years of marriage together. Carol was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Survivors include her husband, Jack, Kaukauna their children and spouses: Tim (Lori) Arnoldussen, Appleton Pam (Kevin) Schaefer, Kaukauna Mike (Barb) Arnoldussen, Darboy Mark Arnoldussen, Kaukauna five grandchildren: Kristin and Kari Arnoldussen, Craig and Jessica Huisman, Joy Arnoldussen two sisters and a brother-in-law: Evelyn (Clarence) Sturn, Menasha Katherine Engelhardt, Sherwood a brother, Gilbert Meyer, Neenah numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lavina Tomair an infant brother, Kenneth a sister-in-law, Florence Meyer and a brother-in-law, Carlton Engelhardt. Funeral services will be 12 noon Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Hollandtown. Friends may call at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday directly at the church until the time of services. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.

  • Note: Paluch, La Verne M., age 72, of De Pere, passed away Monday morning, June 20, 2011 at Angels Touch Assisted Living. She was born Jan. 13, 1939, daughter of the late Henry and Gladys (Schommer) Anschutz.

    La Verne was an Army spouse living all over the world. She was employed at Crest Cleaning Service and also helped her husband in his fencing business. Later she owned her own cleaning business. She loved visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. La Verne enjoyed good conversation, telling stories of her travels during the military days.

    Survivors include her children, Ken (Lisa) Paluch, Greenleaf; Keith Paluch, Kevin Paluch, both of Green Bay; grandchildren, Phillip, Greg (Danielle), Kyle, Trisha (Mike), Amanda, Rebecca, Sarah, Rachel; great- grandchildren, Spencer, Mason, Landen, Peneolpe, Malachi, Kaneara and Keyronne; a brother, Jim (Cathy) Anschutz, Milwaukee; sisters, Jean Anschutz, Chicago; Pat Anschutz, Seymour; Marilyn Anschutz, Green Bay; and mother-in-law, Stella Paluch.

    Preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; daughter, Kelly; a sister, Elaine; and father-in-law, Harry Paluch
