  • Note: Keith J. Ziehl, Kaukauna, age 53, died unexpectedly Monday May 20, 2013. He was born in Appleton on February 27, 1960 to LeRoy and Beverly (Schneider) Ziehl. Keith was a graduate of Hortonville High School. He married Brenda Van Groll on July 24, 1993 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. Keith enjoyed repairing small engines and tinkering in his garage. He was an avid race fan including racing at WIR. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. His competitive spirit allowed him to enjoy playing games with his nieces and nephews. Keith's most recent position was driving truck for Van's Septic Service. He will be warmly remembered for his great sense of humor, kind spirit, and willingness to help others in need.

    Keith is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Brenda; mother, Beverly Ziehl; siblings: Barb (Joe) Lemmers, Brian (Patti) Ziehl, Kathy Ziehl and Brenda (Dave) Holz; mother-in-law, Mary Van Groll; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Dan (Caroll), Dave (Ellen) and Brian (Tina) Van Groll. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Keith was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Ziehl; and father-in-law, Marv Van Groll.

    Visitation will be held Wednesday May 22, 2013 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday May 23, 2013 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 p.m. The Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery.   • Note: Marian K. (Steger) Lambie, Kaukauna, age 93, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 at American Grand with her family by her side. She was born March 26, 1920 in Kaukauna the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Christensen) Steger Sr. Marian was a 1938 Kaukauna High School Graduate. From 1940 to 1951 she worked for Kaukauna Machine/Giddings and Lewis. On July 1, 1950 Marian married Stanley Lambie. The couple met at the Nightingale Ballroom where Stanley was a ticket taker and Marian was a coat checker. They farmed in the area their entire married lives. Marian was very proud of being bookkeeper for the farm for over 50 years. Stanley preceded her in death on August 25, 2003 after 53 years of marriage. Marian enjoyed traveling with friends, enjoyed bowling, was a "big time" Brewers fan and loved listening to Bob Uecker announce the game. Marian was a lifetime member of Peace United Methodist Church.

    She is survived by her children: Bruce Lambie (special friend Sue Matheys), Janet (Mark) Huss, Nancy (Dave) Engelhardt and Brian (Mary) Lambie; her grandchildren: Chrissy Lambie, Katie (Jay) Kunstman, Gina Lambie, Bradley Lambie, Scott (Brenda) Huss, Carrie (Aaron) Saks, Jenny (Jeff) Newcomer, Mike Damro (special friend Vennessa Sanchez), Natalie Damro, Kristin Engelhardt (special friend Bob Voight), Taycie (Paul) Schmidt, Chad Lambie and Aaron Lambie; her 10 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law: Darlene Steger, Betty Jane Steger, and Georgia Arndt; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

    She was preceded in death by her step-grandson, Jesse Engelhardt, 3 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law: Anna in infancy, Lorraine (Carl) Heilman, Betty (Arthur) Deeg; 3 brothers and a sister-in-law: Donald (Harriet) Steger, Robert Steger Sr. and Joseph Steger Jr.

    Funeral Services for Marian will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at PEACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2300 Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna with Pastor Lucretia Fehrmann officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 3:00 PM until the time of service. Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park.   • Note: Elizabeth Bastian, daughter of the late George and Carrie (Simpson) Lambie, passed away in her sleep at her home, on Thursday, September 23, 2010, and will be reunited in Heaven with her husband Clarence, her grandson, Jim Hillegas, and her parents. Betty was born on June 6, 1913. She married Clarence Bastian on February 3, 1930; he preceded her in death in 1977. Together they farmed in the Town of Freedom for all of their married life. In addition to working alongside her husband on the farm, Betty helped with bookkeeping when Clarence sold Funk's Seed Corn. She enjoyed gardening, especially working with her raspberries. Many beautiful dolls, which she crocheted, were given as gifts. In her quiet way, her genuine caring for others made a difference in so many lives.

    She will be missed by her daughter, Sandi Hillegas, her granddaughter Lisa Hungerford (fiance Scott Falkner), their children, Lindsey (Nick) Stehofsky and Paul Falkner; great-great-grandson, Anthony; her son, Ron (Noretta) Bastian, Reedsville, and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and her sister, Georgia Arndt, De Pere.

    She is further preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Lambie, and three sisters and brothers-in-law: Esther (Ed) Nelson, Edna (Harold) Tank, and Blanche (George) LaRue, and brother-in-law, Ted Arndt. Also with her will be her husband's sister, Viola (Joe) Williamsen and his brothers, Roy (Elsie) Bastian and Gilbert (Agnes) Bastian.

    Funeral Services for Elizabeth will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna, with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

    Thanks to Lisa and Scott for all their help. Thanks also to Mike Landeau, who was always ready to brighten her day with a helping hand and a warm hug. We wish to express a special thanks to the ThedaCare at Home Hospice staff and volunteers for all the care and compassion they gave mom.

    Mom, thank you for being a great friend and mom. I love you very much.
