    Age 59, died Thursday, February 5, 2004 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born November 4, 1944 a son of Stephen and Mildred (Chandler) Roth. Peter married Carla Mahn on August 31, 1968 in Little Chute.

    Peter owned Tracers Investigators Inc. as a private investigator; he served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a past member of the board of directors of the Winnebago County Employees Credit Union. Peter enjoyed golfing; playing cribbage with his sons, working on crossword puzzles almost daily and was an avid Packer fan.

    He is survived by his three sons: Christopher (Ann), Little Chute; Kevin (Tracy), Forest Junction; Ryan (special friend, Jenny), Kaukauna; their mother, Carla Roth, Little Chute; a sister, Kathy (Jerry) Kunde, AR; a sister-in-law, Betty Roth, Naperville, IL; five grandchildren: Hannah, Alexis, Little Chute; Angie, Jordon, and Peter, Forest Junction; and four nieces and nephews: Carmen McKenna, AR; Jason Kunde, GA; Jennifer and Greg Roth, Naperville, IL. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve.

    A memorial service for Peter will be held on Monday February 9, 2004 at 7 p.m. at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside with Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Family and friends may call on Monday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service. We would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU staff at Theda Clark and Appleton Medical Center for the loving care of our father.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials in Peter's name would be appreciated.

  • Note: At the age of 59 Peter died on Thursday February 5,2004 at Appleton
    Medical Center. Peter married Carla Mahn on August 31 ,1968 they lived in
    Little Chute.

    Roth and his five grandchildren Hannah,Alexis,Jordan,Peter,Angie and
    later on Addy, Gabby, and Burke.
    Well I really never got to meet my Grandpa because I was three
    years old when he passed away but from what I have heard he is a pretty
    neat guy. Well from what my Dad has told me he is. But it kinda is hard
    knowing that I really never got to see him barely ever in my life same with
    some of the older cousins in my family they were about four and five when
    he died and for my sister she was only a baby. So I don't really remember
    much about him but i do know that he loved hang out with my Dad and his
    brothers.
    But one thing that I will always remember is that he is my grandpa
    and there is no one else that can replace him.

  • Death: He died on April 8, 2012, at age 81, in Menomonie, Dunn Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: James "Jim" W. Curtin, age 81 of Boyceville, WI and longtime resident of the Menasha/Appleton area, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.

    He was born June 29, 1930 in Green Bay, WI to John and Ann (Weyers) Curtin. Jim served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 - 1957, first as the ships store keeper and then as a staff car driver. While Jim was overseas, he loved visiting other countries. On May 7, 1960 he married Mary Jane Sommers at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton, WI.

    Jim was a member of the Teamsters Union, and worked as a plumber, heavy equipment operator and also farmed. After having been a longtime resident of the Menasha/Appleton area they moved to the Boyceville area in 1997, where they have enjoyed these past years. Jim loved his family and was devoted to his friends.

    Jim is survived by his wife Mary Jane Curtin of Boyceville; a daughter, Mary (Michael) Uitenbroek of Ortonville, two sons, Mark Curtin of Boyceville, and Rick (Kay) Curtin of Prairie Farm. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents.

    Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Father Tom Krieg officiating. Following the service there will be presentation of the flag by the Menomonie Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday.

  • Note: Dorothy Timmers (Baker), age 95, died on Monday April 25, 2011, after a brief illness. Dorothy was born on July 20, 1915, in Kaukauna daughter of the late John and Anna (Becker) Baker. She was employed as the Produce Manager at the Piggly Wiggly until her retirement in 1978.

    She is survived by her three granddaughters: Gail (Jim) Zierler-Hennes, Debra (Steve) Zenisek, Mary (Tom) Coates; a grandson: Robert (Chris) Zierler, seven great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; a sister: Bernice (Edwin) Behrens; a sister-in-law: Dorothy Siebers. She will miss her loving pet and companion"Murphy".

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Timmers and her daughter: Janet (Timmers) Zierler.

    The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday April 29, 2011, at St. Katharine Drexal Parish, St. Mary Church, Seventh Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. The visitation will be held from 3 pm on Friday at the church until the time of service. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in her name.

    She was preceded in death by her father, her husband and
    longtime friend and companion, Richard Lesselyoung.

    Janet's name.
