    Maass, William "Bill" William "Bill" Maass, 61, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2006, at his home. He was born October 13, 1944, in Green Bay, the son of the late Harold T. and Ruth (Salava) Maass. Bill was employed with Azco-Hennis Construction until his retirement. He was an Army Reserve veteran and a member of the Seymour American Legion, and a past Commander of Post # 106 and past Commander of the "40 and 8." Bill was involved in Hunter Safety, Whitetails Unlimited, and a certifying instructor for ATV's. He was also an avid outdoorsman, member of the Seymour Musky Club, a Packer fan, and a Randy Travis fan. He was a past Chairman for the Home of the Hamburger Celebration, and former member of the Outagamie County Fair Association. Bill was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour.

    He is survived by his granddaughters: Alyssa and Taylor Moeller, Seymour; a brother, Gary (Mary) Maass, Greenville; a step-brother, Lyle (Ginger) Van Dyn Hoven, Combined Locks; many nieces, nephews and greatly appreciated friends.

    He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheri Moeller.

    Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, on Sunday, April 23, 2006; from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, April 24, 2006, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N. Main St., Seymour, from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral services at 11 a.m., with the Reverend Ty Stoneburner officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery.     A memorial fund has been established to the Hunter Safety Program to benefit future hunters and sports enthusiasts.
