    Kuehnl, Mary E. Mary (Van de Ven) Kuehnl, Oshkosh, passed away at her home on December 29, 2005. She was born in Neenah on August 8, 1956, daughter of Christ and Petra Van de Ven. Mary was a graduate of Neenah High School, class of 1974, and a graduate of UW-Oshkosh, 1978, with an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice. In 1986, she completed her studies for a Masters Degree in Counseling from UWO. For the past 23 years Mary was employed by the Department of Corrections, most recently as Program Supervisor for the Drug Abuse Center. Of everything that Mary enjoyed in life, what she enjoyed most of all was spending time with her family and friends. She had a gift for friendship. She also enjoyed her gardens, reading and taking long walks. Mary worked with the Winchester 4H Club and the Winneconne Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Mary is survived by her husband of 27 years, Joseph and her son, Christopher, at home; and her brothers and sisters: Gary (Martine) Van de Ven, Netherlands; Christine (Glen) Heinzl, Necedah; Elizabeth Mason, Neenah; William (Susan) Van de Ven, Neenah; Cynthia (Juan) Lozano, Menomonee Falls; Michael (Kathy) Van de Ven, Oshkosh; and Carol (Al) Fazenbaker, Rapid City, S.D. She is further survived by her mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Murial Kuehnl of Neenah; and her brothers and sisters-in-law: Ron (Cindy) Kuehnl, Allenville; Steve (Mary) Kuehnl, Oshkosh; Stuart Kuehnl, Oshkosh; numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Michael Mason. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 2, 2006, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Friends may call at Westgor Funeral Home on Sunday, January 1st, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and again at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. Interment will be at Allenville Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established for Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Habitat for Humanity. WESTGOR FUNERAL HOME 205 W. Doty Ave. Neenah 920-722-7151.

    Mrs. N. E. Gerhartz, Sr.

    Mrs. Norman Gerhartz, Sr., 58, of 111 W. Wisconsin avenue, Kaukauna, died in Kaukauna at 7:30 p.m. Sunday after a long illness.

    She was born April 28, 1901, in Fond du Lac, and moved to Kaukauna as a child, where she lived since.

    She was a member of the Royal Neighbors society, Lady Moose and the Business and Professional Women's club.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Kaukauna. Burial will be in Union cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral home after 7:30 p.m. today until noon Wednesday and then at the church.

    She is survived by her widower; four daughters, Mrs. George Hurst and Miss Mary Gerhartz, both of Kaukauna, Mrs. Lee Nagel, Seymour, and Mrs. Harold Coenen, Appleton; two sons, Norman, Jr., Kaukauna, and Donald, Appleton; one brother, Walter Specht, Kaukauna; and 13 grandchildren.
