  • Note: Obit. De Pere Journal Democrat 8-3-1944 Martin Hendricks, aged 66, passed away this morning at St. Elizabeth's hospital, Appleton, fo llowing an operation for appendicitis. The body will be the Ryan funeral home. West De Pere , until the funeral which will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Paul's church, Wrightstown. with burial in the Parish cemetery. The Rev. A. Brockman will be in charge. Survivors are his wife, the former Henrietta Coenen, five sons, Joseph of Greenleaf, Frank o f Clear field, Pa., William, Laurana, Leo of Clinton and Edward at home; three daughters, Mar ie (Mrs. Lester Valiquette) of Duck Creek, Nettie (Mrs. Elzear Arts) Wrightstown, and Agatha . (Mrs. Melvin Roebke of Wrightstown. There are also 15 grandchildren and one brother, Pete r of Beardsley, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. Anton Van Hill of Beardsley, Minn., six half brot hers Henry Hendricks of West De Pere, Frank of Minneapolis, Minn. and Albert, John, Herman an d Arnold of Beardsly, Minn. and two half sisters.

    Burial followed at St. Paul's Catholic cemetery Wrightstown, Pallbearers were Peter Kettenhofen, John Verheyen, Neil Verbeten, Fred Smith, Barney Kliste r and John Leick, Mr. Hendricks, who engaged in farming in Rockland before locating in Wright stown, had been employed in a Manitowoc shipyards the last two years.

  • Death: Agatha Hendricks died on August 9, 2012, at age 91, in Appleton, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Agatha M. Roebke, 91, Wayside Parkview Estates, passed away Thursday, August 09, 2012, at Appleton Medical Center, following a short illness. She was born August 16, 1920 in the Town of Rockland, daughter to the late Martin and Marcella (Coenen) Hendricks. Agatha married Melvin Roebke, August 17, 1938, and he preceded her in death in 1994. She retired from Nabisco, where she had worked for many years. Agatha was a lifetime member of the Wrightstown American Legion Auxiliary, St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, where she was active in the Ladies Aid, and she loved going to her cottage in Crivitz.

    She will be deeply missed by her three children: Robert (Sue) Roebke, Kaukauna; Audrey Roebke, Hilbert; and Gary (Carolyn) Roebke, Oak Creek, WI; grandchildren: Brian Roebke, Carrie Roebke, Jason (Ayako) Roebke, Jerry Sweere and fiancé, Allyson, Lori (David) Schwalenberg, John (Nancy) Roebke, Timothy (Chris-Ann) Roebke, Jennifer (Mark) Lillge; great-grandchildren: Alec, Austin, and Aaron Schwalenberg, Lily and Chrissy Roebke, Jacob and Gracie Lillge, and Yuria Roebke; and many nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Brenda Roebke; five brothers and two sisters.

    Family and friends may call Monday, August 13, 2012 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Wrightstown, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m, with the Rev. Matthew Vik officiating.   • Note: Obit. Green Bay Press Gazette. Melvin H. Roebke, 79 326 Fair St., Wrightstown,passed away unexpectedly, Friday April 1, 1994 . He was born June 30, 1914, the son of the late William and Anna (Schaueble) Roebke. Melvi n married the former Agatha Hendricks on Aug. 17, 1938. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees du ring World War II and had been employed at Appleton machine, retiring in 1978. Melvin was act ive in a number of civic organizations, the Urban Klister Post 436 of the American Legion an d the Wrightstown Village Board. He was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran church. Wri ghtstown where he wa a trustee and was active in the renovation of the church. Melvin enjoye d spending time at his cottage in Crivitz, with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Aggie, a daughter Audrey and her special friend Rober t Grogan, Hilbert; two sons Robert and Sue Roebke, Kaukauna; and Gary and Carolyn Roebke, Mil waukee; his grandchildren, Jerry Sweere, Lori Schwalenberg and her husband David, Brian, Carr ie and Jason Roebke. John Roebke and his wife, nancy, Tim and Jenny Roebke; a great grandson , Alec Schwalenberg; a special niece Ruth Roebke-Berens; and many other relatives and specia l friends/ He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Brenda Roebke; his parents; sisters Sadie and Ele anor, and a brother Edwin, who all died in the influenza epidemic of 1918; another brother ha rry and a sister , Lorna Schoen, along with a son in law, Eugene Sweere.. Friends may call at De Wane Cotter Funeral Home Wrightstown from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday. Urban Kl ister Post 436 of the American Legion Memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday.   • Note: Nettie D. Aerts, 93, Wrightstown, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, at her home. She was born May 21, 1917, in Wrightstown, daughter to the late Martin and Hattie (Coenen) Hendricks. She married Elzear Aerts on Aug. 19, 1936, in Wrightstown, and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1975.

    She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life.

    Survivors include her seven children, Don (Rosie), Russ (Joan), Yvonne (Ken) Cumbers, Roger (Mary), Judy (Len) Vickman, Janice Daniels and Tom (Ann); one daughter-in-law, Ruth Aerts (Jim Wellner); 27 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Aggie Roebke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Nettie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Dick; son-in-law, Clarence; five brothers and one sister.

    Family and friends may call Monday, June 14, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St., Wrightstown, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the procession leaves for St. Clare/St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown.
