    Selig, Lawrence "Larry" A. Lawrence "Larry" A. Selig, 75, Winneconne, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at home with his family by his side after a short but difficult battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 23, 1931, in Appleton to the late Lawrence and Agnes (Koslowski) Selig. Larry married Marguerite Schiltz on Dec. 1, 1951. He served for two years in the Army Reserves before serving his country during the Korean War. Larry worked for Azco Hennes for 43 years until retirement. Larry spent his life outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he also enjoyed bowling. After retirement he and Marguerite enjoyed traveling. Larry was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne.

    Larry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marguerite Selig, Winneconne; three children, Cyn Selig, Portland, Ore.; Lynn (fiance Bob Jones) Murray, Neenah; Cal (Stephanie) Selig, Fort Collins, Colo.; four grandchildren, Kristi, Brian, Amelia, and Conrad; two sisters, Joyce Drier, Judy (Phil) Bixby, both of Appleton; and many nieces and nephews.

    Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at 7 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, with Rev. Leroy Smet officiating. A Tribute to a Veteran Service will follow the memorial service. Inurnment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.

    Larry's family would like to specially thank Dr. Dar, Dr. Naida and their staffs, the Aurora Hospital staff, and all of the VNA Hospice team for the excellent care given to Larry during his illness.

    Appleton

    Age 79, died in Appleton on December 25, 2002. She was born in Brillion on May 10, 1923, daughter of the late John and Clara (Meyer) Hoyer. On August 20, 1941, she married Carl Mahloch in Brillion. Dolores was known for her many activities that she loved. She was a life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic church. She was an avid golfer, Packer fan, and loved to play bridge and sheepshead. Dolores was often spending time on the golf course and playing in bridge marathons. At home she was a serious gardener and rarely let a weed get into her yard. She was very domesticated and took great pride in working at Shopko for almost five years in the domestics and housewares department. Further, she took great pride in decorating her unit for holidays at Ridgeview Highland Apartments. Dolores also spent a lot of happy times at the cottage in Sturgeon Bay with her husband, family and special friends.

    Dolores is survived by three sons: Kenneth (Darlene) Mahloch, Appleton Richard (Cheryl) Mahloch, Neenah Robert (Liz) Mahloch, Appleton three daughters: Jean (Robert) Palm, Appleton Jane ( Ronald) Birling Appleton and Joan (Dan) Baerenwald, Appleton 25 grandchildren four great-grandchildren two brothers: Joseph (Alice) Hoyer, Brillion and Gerald (Jean) Hoyer, Brillion a sister, Gertrude Backus, Manitowoc a daughter-in-law, Marge Mahloch, Appleton two sisters-in-law: Marcella Gross, Sheboygan and Angeline Mahloch, Shawano a very special niece, Beverly Van Ryzin, Appleton a very special friend, Bobbie Abig, Sheboygan and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

    Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, a son Ronald two grandchildren: Christopher Mahloch and Andy Baerenwald and three sisters: Ann and Mary Hoyer and Helen (Roman) Hennessey of Appleton.

    The funeral liturgy will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2002, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 East Fremont Street, Appleton with Fr. Robert Karuhn officiating. Friends will be received at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.

    The family extends a special thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital, especially the Sub-Acute Unit.

    Memorials in Dolores' name are appreciated.
