Born May 15, 1862 in the town of Buchanan, he operated a farm there until 31 years ago when he retired. Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Fox; one brother, John of Appleton. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at St. Francis church, Hollandtown, with the cortege forming at 9:30 at Greenwood Funeral home, Kaukauna where the body may be viewed after 7 o'clock tonight and the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight and tomorrow night, burial will be in the parish cemetery.

She came to Kenosha in 1935. On Nov. 6, 1937 in St. Thomas Aquinas church she married Oral H. Vandenberg. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas church and its Alter Society. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Rita) Daas, Milwaukee, two grandchildren; a brother, Virgil, Durand, Wis., and a sister Mrs. Edna Hulsether, Viroqua, Wis. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Grosskopf and Mrs. Sadie Berg.

Bonnie Jean Scott

  • Note: Bonnie Aerts, age 66, of Wrightstown, passed away Thursday, June 11, at her home with her daughters and grandchildren by her side. The daughter of the late Curtis and Lillyfaye (Quinn) Scott, Sr. was born March 12, 1949 in Peoria, IL. On April 25, 1969, she married Gerald "Jerry" Aerts at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay, and together they shared 25 years of marriage before Jerry passed away in 1994. Bonnie enjoyed playing cards, cooking, working in the meat shop that she and her husband owned, going to the casino, fishing and her animals. She loved her grandchildren dearly, never saying no to anything they requested and was known to be just as youthful as they were. Bonnie had a contagious laugh that brought joy to all those around her.

    Survivors include her children: Brenda Aerts and her daughter Taylor Newman, Tammy (Adam) Kussow and their children Mason and Mercedes, and Connie (special friend John) Aerts; brothers: Harold Scott, Gerald Scott, Gary (Karen) Scott and Curtis (Wendy) Scott, Jr. II; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dennis (Mary) Aerts, Leo (Mary) Aerts, Mary Jane (Ron "Barber") Smith, Norma Aerts and Rose (Don) Coenen; nieces and nephews: Christy, Tami, Missy, Sarah (Bonnie's Godchild), Kevin, Holly, Geno, Christopher, Brandon, Kim, Brian, Jamie, and Casey; as well as her sister-in-law and dear friend, Carol.

    In addition to her husband, Jerry, Bonnie was preceded in death by four infant children: Brenda, Jerry, Curtis and Gerald; a nephew Joe (Bonnie's Godchild); a niece, Nikki; brothers-in-law: Ronald Aerts and Melvin Liebergen; and an infant brother, Curtis Scott.

    Family and friends may visit at Dewane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main Street, Wrightstown, on Monday, June 15, from 4-8pm. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00pm Monday evening. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, from 10:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday.     Ronald C. Aerts, 67, Wrightstown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010. Son of the late Alfred and Dorothy (Klika) Aerts was born Dec. 8, 1942, in Green Bay. Ron graduated from Wrightstown High School with the Class of 1960, and went on to NWTC for printing, and also received his CDL license. Ron worked for Gene Frederickson Trucking until he retired in 2006.

    Ron was an avid woodcarver and sports fan and he especially enjoyed watching the Packers. He also enjoyed taking trips up north to his cabin where he loved hunting and fishing, particularly ice fishing.

    Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Mary Jane (Ron) Smith, Carol (Melvin) Liebergen, Norma Aerts, Rose (Don) Coenen, Leo (Mary) Aerts and Dennis (Mary) Aerts; sister-in-law, Bonnie Aerts; special aunt, Babe Pansier; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

    Ron is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald Aerts; niece, Nikki Verbeten; and brother-in-law, Gerald VerBockel.

    Family and friends may call Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at St. Clare Parish/St. Paul Catholic Church, 437 Main Street, Wrightstown, from 3 p.m. until the hour of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 6 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Bob Kabat officiating. DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.   • Note: Dennis "Otis" Gerald Aerts, 60, Wrightstown, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017. He was born on January 7, 1957 in Green Bay to the late Alfred and Dorothy (Klicka) Aerts. Dennis was a 1975 graduate of Wrightstown High School. On August 18, 1989, he married Mary Jean Van Cuyk. Otis enjoyed playing cribbage, fishing, going to the races. He owned and operated Otis's Bar for over 20 years.

    Survivors include his wife, Mary; son, Brandon (Cori) Aerts; three sisters and one brother: Norma Aerts, Rose (Don) Coenen, Carol Liebergen, and Leo (Mary) Aerts. He was further survived by two sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law: JoAnn (Vern) Roepcke, Rose Thiel, Jerry Van Cuyk, Casey (Elaine) Van Cuyk, LeRoy (fiancé Ruth) Van Cuyk, and Ron Smith. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

    In addition to his parents, Otis was preceded in death by two brothers: Ron and Jerry Aerts; one sister, Mary Jane Smith; four brothers-in-law: Jerry VerBockel, Melvin Liebergen, Francis Van Cuyk, Robert Thiel; two sisters-in-law: Sandra "Bunny" Van Cuyk, Bonnie Aerts; niece, Nicole Verbeten; and nephew, Ronald Roepcke.

    Family and friends may visit at St. Claire Catholic Parish St. Paul site on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Visitation will continue at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 until 10:15. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am with Fr. Carl Meulemans officiating. Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown is assisting the family.     The family would like to thank Dr. Antony Marquis and all the staff on the 8th floor of Theda Care in Appleton and Theda Care Home Hospice.
