  • Note: Age 81, died on March 17, 2004 at the Cherry Meadows Hospice, following a long illness and brief, courageous struggle with lung cancer. She was born July 10, 1922 in Megen, Holland, daughter of the late Wilhelmus and Anna (Van Dyk) Muskens. Sis married Dominicus (Sjef) Van Berkom in May of 1947. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1986. She came to America with Sjef in 1955 and settled in Kimberly. Wis worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton until her retirement in 1984, and was a member of Holy Name Parish, Kimberly.

    She is survived by two sisters: Dien (Klaas) Brouwer and Nelly (Sjef) Voet, both of Holland; a nephew and his wife: Leo and Toos Van Oursouw of Kimberly, and their children: Jim Oursouw and his family of LaCrosse and Jerry Van Oursouw and his family of Neenah, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews in Holland, England, Canada and Australia.

    In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister: Andrea (Jos) Plusquins and three brothers: Andre (Jet) Muskens, Johan (Jans) Muskens and Wim (Ria) Muskens.

    The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, March 19, 2004 at 12 Noon at HOLY NAME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at which time the procession will depart for the church.

    Sis was liked by her friends for always being in a good mood, despite her numerous ailments. Also well known was her "bottomless" coffeepot, of which she poured and served freely. Without the help of her many friends she would not have been able to remain at home for as long as she did and for this she was truly thankful. She will be missed by all of them.

    The family wishes to thank the staff at Martha Siekman Cancer Center and at Cherry Meadows Hospice Center for their excellent care.

    Ans is survived by his daughters: Lucy (Rick) Bevers, Appleton; Sjanny (Dave) Friebel, Kimberly; Petra Van Lith, Kimberly; and Ria (Rene´) Van Dongen, Holland; grandchildren: Rick (Bev) and Eric Bevers, Jeff (Dominique) and Kim Friebel; great grandchildren: Taylor, Isaac, Aria, Kyla, Brantley, Sophia and Jack; brother, Al Van Lith; and brother-in-law, Mich (Hanneke) and Annemie Steenbekkers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, here and in Holland.

    In addition to his parents and wife, Tilly, Ans was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law: Jan and Lucia Steenbekkers; grandson, Frank Friebel; and other members of the Van Lith and Steenbekkers families.

    Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH - DARBOY CHURCH (W2796 Hwy. KK) beginning at 2:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 4:00 p.m. The Rev. Sidney St., Kimberly Age 69, lost her courageous two-year battle with cancer and passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2000, surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was born in Mierlo-Hout, Holland, on November 15, 1930, daughter of the late Jan and Lucia (Van Alem) Steenbekkers. On May 17, 1956, Tilly married Ans Van Lith in Aarle-Rixtel, Holland; he survives. She, Ans, and two daughters came to the United States in 1963. Tilly began work at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a housekeeper. In 1996, she retired, after being at the hospital for some 18 years. She enjoyed having company visit her home, spending time with her beloved family, and crocheting blankets for her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Ans J. Van Lith, Kimberly; three daughters, Lucia (Richard) Bevers, Kimberly; Adriana (David) Friebel, Kimberly; Petranella Van Lith, Kimberly; four grandchildren, Richard (Angela) Bevers, Eric Bevers, Jeffrey Friebel, and Kim Friebel; a great-grandson, Isaac Bevers who gave Oma inspiration the last year; two brothers, Mich (Hanneke) Steenbekkers, Darboy; Jan (Maria) Steenbekkers, Holland; three sisters, Annie Driessen, Holland; Ria (Rik) Hardiquest, Belgium; and Jo (Christ) Van Berloo, Holland; two brothers-in-law, Peter (Korrie) Van Lith, Combined Locks; Albert (Ann) Van Lith, Little Chute; two sisters-in-law, Nellie Vander Wielen, Little Chute; Bet (Giel) Van Alem, Kimberly. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Tilly was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Frank Friebel; brothers-in-law, Thieu Driessen and Nick Vander Wielen, as well as by Ans' parents, Johan and Adriana Van Lith, and by his siblings, Jan (Sien) Van Lith, Anna (Harry) Nendels, Jo (Bernard) Van Venrooij, Sjaan (Martinus) DeGoey, and Nell (Joost) Poppelaars. The funeral liturgy for Tilly will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2000, at HOLY NAME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and again Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral procession leaves for the church.   • Note: Jean "Jenner" Wydeven, Age 82, of Menasha, passed away on June 24, 2016. She was born on March 23, 1934, in Appleton, daughter of the late Arthur and Frances (Sternagel) Noffke. Jean married Ronald "Bud" Wydeven on May 25, 1957. Together they joined the Holy Angels Church in Darboy in 1959. Jean worked full time at Riverside Paper before taking time off to start a family. Later she went back to work at Appleton Toy Factory and then joined Van Hoof Industries (Pacon) for 20 years until her retirement in 1994.

    Jean was preceded in death by Bud on April 18, 1986. Together they spent most of their married life in Kimberly in an especially close neighborhood on Willow Street where many special friendships and memories were made. Later, many good times were spent with her card playing buddies Toots, Irene, and lifelong friend Peg.

    Jenner enjoyed baseball, bowling, golfing, fishing, camping, traveling, watching most sports, wood working, riding her pontoon boat and playing the piano. She is survived by four children: Mary (Brian) Radichel (Neenah), Jeff (Tracy) Wydeven (Kaukauna) , Dean Wydeven (Grand Chute), and Greg (Chrissy) Wydeven (Menasha); seven grandchildren: Luke (Katie) Derks, Ashley (Jon) Kraft, Brad Wydeven and special friend Macaira Woody, Laina Wydeven, and T.J., Macy, and Holly Wydeven; three great grandchildren: Jackson and Derek Kraft and Ethan Derks; one sister: Margaret "Honey" Schley; one brother-in-law: Leo (Lizzie) Huelsbeck; one sister-in-law: Janice De Goey. Jean was preceded in death by her family: Ruth (Wilbur "Moon") Frederick, Pearl (Ray) Holschach, Bernice "Toots" Huelsbeck, Roy (Lorraine) Noffke, Ralph "Bucky" (Dorothy) Noffke, Sherman "Shim" (Eileen Deno) Noffke, Harold "Teenie" Noffke, Clyde Schley, Robert De Goey, and Roland "Whitey" Wydeven.

    Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 620 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating.   • Note: Age 76, passed away Monday, May 6, 2002 at the Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton. Jim was born on November 17, 1925 in Appleton, son of the late Herbert and Johanna (Verbrick) Kluge. He was a 1943 graduate of the Appleton High School and also graduated from Lawrence University. During World War II, he faithfully served his country as a sergeant in the 36th Division of the United States Army. He was wounded in battle and received the Purple Heart before his discharge on 1945. On August 20, 1949 he married the former Patricia Ouellette in Kimberly; she survives. For over thirty years, Jim worked as a Packaging Manager at Kimberly Clark, with ten of those years being spent in Roswell, Georgia. He retired in 1986. Jim was a 52-year member of the William Verhagen Post #60 of the American Legion and was a former member of the military funeral detail. He was also a 43-year member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4489 where he held each chair, served as Grand Knight on two occasions, and was also a District Deputy for four years. He also held membership with the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Allouez Assembly #1199 where he was the Immediate Past Faithful Comptroller. Jim was also an active and faithful member at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, where he participated as a lector, member of the New Life Choir, and assisted with the Religious Education program. The Kimberly School Board was a benefactor of his service for some eighteen years as was the Kimberly Public Library for three years.

    Jim is survived by his wife of fifty-two years: Pat Kluge of Kimberly; four sons: Kurt Kluge of Forestville, Wisconsin and his fiancée Vickie Strom; Paul (Carol) Kluge of Kimberly; John (Carrie) Kluge of Appleton; Matthew (Chris) Kluge of Loganville, Georgia; two daughters: Kathy (Carl) Janssen of Kaukauna and Janet Mullinax of Gainesville, Georgia and her friend Ben; a granddaughter: Randi Lynn Kluge; twelve grandsons: Corey (Rasha) Kluge, Jesse and Shane Kluge; Derick Kluge; Andy, Ken, and Brian Janssen; Kyle, Connor, and Hunter Kluge; Michael and Mitchell Kluge; a step-grandson: Stephen Fialko; two great-grandchildren Rebecca and Casey Janssen; two sisters-in-law: Betty (Charles) Treder of Brookfield and Delores (Jim) Hopfensperger of Kaukauna; a brother-in-law: Harold Bobber of Appleton. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Ann (Don) Nagel, and sisters-in-law Elaine (Joe) McCann and Mary Bobber.

    The funeral mass for Jim will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, May 9, 2002 at HOLY NAME OF JESUS PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly with Rev. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery with military funeral honors being provided by the members of William Verhagen Post #60 of the American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 - 8 PM and again at the church on Thursday from 11 AM until the hour of the mass. There will be a parish prayer and scripture service at 7:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial fund in Jim’s name.

    The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of ThedaCare at Home Hospice for their wonderful care and many visits. Thank you also to the entire staff at Cherry Meadows Hospice. During the time Jim was with you, he was treated as though he was your very own. He could have been in no better hands. Thank you so much; we will never forget your kindness.
