Johanna was born May 30, 1920 to George and Louise (Linseen) VandenLangenberg. She was raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin where she married Edward Thomsen October 28, 1944. They had two daughters, Sally and Linda. Ed died in 1954. In 1959 she married Robert LeSage. In 1968 they moved to Albuquerque for her health. She was a lady who always reached out to help others. She spent every day in prayer and knew that God was priority in her life. Johanna was truly a role model for people in her life. She is survived by her two daughters, Sally Reynen of Wisconsin and Linda Harris of New Mexico, four grandchildren; Lori (Mark) Reynen Jacobs of Wisconsin; Jean (Ken) Reynen VandenElzen of Wisconsin; Tracy (Shawn) Harris of NM; Tina (Duane) Harris Oldfield of NM, seven great-grandchildren; Cassi and Sammi Jacobs of Wisconsin; Taylor and Alexandra VandenElzen of Wisconsin; Skye and Daytonah Harris of NM; Travis Oldfield of NM; brothers and sisters, Ruth (Harry) Watermolen; Cliff (Ann) VandenLangenberg; Roland (Carol) VandenLangenberg, Nancy (Roger) Denis; Wilbert VandenLangenberg; Leona (Ronald) LeLou, sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Cecil VandenLangenberg, and many nieces and nephews, all of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; two brothers, Larry and Don; two sisters, Patsy and Betty (LeSage); and a sister-in-law, Karen. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. The family wants to extend a very special thank you to Hospice of New Mexico for their great care given to Johanna.   • Note: Leona H. Lelou, 95, Green Bay, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday, June 2, 2017. She was born on January 15, 1922, in Bellevue to the late George and Louise (Linssen) VandenLangenberg. Leona married Ronald Lelou on January 12, 1946. She was a charter member of St. Bernard Parish. Leona worked at Wally's Spot for many years. She was a member of the Happy Hoppers Dance Club and enjoyed spending time on the dance floor with her husband, Ronald. When she wasn't busy on the dance floor, Leona enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Her incredible green thumb would bring any plant back to life. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, usually with a dollar in hand.

    Leona will be deeply missed by her children, Gerald (Mary) Lelou, St. Cloud, MN, Elizabeth Van Pay, Luxemburg, Bonita (Eric) Weydt, Green Bay, and Jane (Dave) Tomashek, Hartford; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; siblings, Roland VandenLangenberg, Nancy (Roger) Denis, Ruth (Harold) Watermolen; sisters-in-law, Ceil VandenLangenberg, Dorothy VandenLangenberg, and Ann VandenLangenberg; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

    In addition to her parents, Leona is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; son, Thomas; two infants; 7 siblings, Johanna (Robert) LeSage, Donald VandenLangenberg, Wilbert (Karen) VandenLangenberg, Lawrence VandenLangenberg, Elizabeth (Richard) LeSage, Patsy VandenLangenberg, and Clifford VandenLangenberg; and a sister-in-law, Carol VandenLangenberg.

    Visitation will be at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Dr., from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Friday, June 9, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at Church with Rev. Mark VanderSteeg officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Mausoleum.   • Note: Wilbert VandenLangenberg, 90, died Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Wisconsin Veteran's Home at King, in Waupaca. He was born July 28, 1925, in Green Bay, son of the late George and Louise (Linssen) VandenLangenberg. Will served his country in the United States Army during WWII, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He married the late Karen Crawford on September 2, 1967, at St. Philip Catholic Church in Green Bay.

    He and Karen had a passion for horses and Will operated numerous boarding stables well into his retirement years. In addition, he could always be counted on for telling great stories, sharing a good meal, or playing cards with family and friends.

    Wilbert will be deeply missed by his loving son Glenn and daughter-in-law Kylie (Opelt); his two grandchildren, Ethan and Amelia "Ellie"; siblings Leona Lelou, Roland (Carol) VandenLangenberg, Nancy (Roger) Denis, and Ruth (Harry) Watermolen; sisters-in-law Jan Crawford, Ceil VandenLangenberg, Ann VandenLangenberg, and Dorothy VandenLangenberg; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

    Besides his parents, Wilbert was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; siblings, Johanna Lesage, Betty Lesage, Donald VandenLangenberg, Lawrence VandenLangenberg, Patsy VandenLangenberg, and Clifford VandenLangenberg.

    Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, with Military Honors to follow.   • Note: Clifford VandenLangenberg, 79, New Denmark, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 16, 1933 in Green Bay, son of the late George and Louise (Linssen) VandenLangenberg. Clifford served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He married Ann Boehm on May 21, 1955 at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Green Bay. Clifford was a farmer and had many other jobs to support his family.

    He was a member of the Denmark American Legion Post #363 where he was active in the Honor Guard, All Saints Church Choir, and he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids, woodworking and donating his time and talents.

    He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Ann; children: Mark (Mary), Lynn (Walter) Crews, Connie (Terry) Rueckert, Sue (Craig) Stephens, Paul (Cheryl), Donna (Scott) Stroik, Alan (Brenda), Karl (Karla), and Heidi (fiancé-DeVante Blanks); 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings: Leona Lelou, Wilbert VandenLangenberg, Roland (Carol), Nancy (Roger) Denis, Ruth (Harold) Watermolen; sisters-in-law, Ceil VandenLangenberg and Dorothy VandenLangenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Johanna LeSage (Bob) (Ed Thompson); brother-in-law, Ronald Lelou, Donald VandenLangenberg, Lawrence VandenLangenberg, Betty (Richard) LeSage, Patsy VandenLangenberg; and sister-in-law, Karen VandenLangenberg.

On Jan. 12, 1946, he married Leona VandenLangenberg. He worked as a warehouse foreman for Leichts Transfer and Storage. He enjoyed gardening and farming. His favorite pastime was attending horse pulling competitions. He was a member of the Happy Hoppers Dance Club and enjoyed spending time on the dance floor with his wife, Leona. He was a Charter Member of St. Bernards Catholic Church.

    Survivors include, his wife, Leona; son, Gerald (Mary) Lelou, St. Cloud, Minn.; three daughters, Elizabeth Van Pay, Luxemberg; Bonita (Eric) Weydt, Green Bay; Jane (Dave) Tomashek, Hartford; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Beverly) Lelou; two sisters, Ione Massey and Joyce Liebeck; brothers-in-law, Darvin DeBaker, Elmer Salzeider; sister-in-law, Carol Lelou.

    He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas; two infants; two sisters, Louise DeBaker, Rita Salzeider; brother, Marcien Lelou; son-in-law, Thomas Van Pay; two brothers-in-law, Willard Massey and Buddy Liebeck.

Carol and Roland just celebrated 68 years of marriage.

    Carol volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ledgeview. She also loved traveling, going camping and playing cards. Carol was also a secretary-treasurer for the Catholic Knights Society Branch 21 from 1982-2014.

    She is survived by her loving husband, Roland; children, Luann (Dennis) Pansier, Ledgeview; Kathy (Eddie) Quandt, Green Bay; grandchildren: Teina( special friend Chuck Fameree) Rowell, Paul (Petula) Rowell, Joel (Kathy)Pansier, Jill (Scott) Brosig, Eric (Nicki) Pansier, Christopher (special friend Jessica Krueger) Pansier; eight little ones that call her great-grandma and mom to 17 foster children; sister, Barbara DeGroot; brother, James (Kathleen) Denissen; along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

    Carol was preceded in death by a son, Michael and a sister, Judy Belschner.

    Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Tuesday, July 5, from 2:00pm until 5:15pm. The Mass of Christian Burial for Carol will be celebrated at 5:30pm Tuesday with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Entombment will be held at Shrine of the Good Shephard Mausoleum.
