    Kneice, Adeline

On March 2, 2010, with her family at her side, the angels came and took Adeline M. Kneice home to be with her husband. Heaven Celebrated!! She was born on March 14, 1912, daughter of the late Frank and Matilda (Dietzen) Kemkes. On June 16, 1936, Adeline was united in marriage to Clarence Kneice, who preceded her in death. They both enjoyed many memorable vacations together. Adeline taught her kids to accept their burdens from God with a smile as she did and to do their best.

Everyone who came to visit her never got past her kitchen because the coffee was always fresh and her cupboards were always full of homemade goodies. She made sure everyone went home with something "for the next day."

Adeline is survived by her children: Margaret Larsen, Rita (Tony) Schaar; four grandchildren: Robert (Pamela) Crosby, Richard (Michelle) Crosby, Angela (Derek) Ofenbeck and Michael Schaar. She is further survived by great-grandchildren: Julie Mischler, Ashley (Darren) Chancellor, Nicholas Stevens, Jesse Crosby, Tina Giese, Cassandra (Aaron) Payne; and two great-great-grandchildren, Karmen and Anastasia; a sister, Dolores (Dallas) Curtis; a brother, John (Shirley) Kemkes; and two family pets, Eddy and Toby.

Adeline was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Larsen; a grandchild, Joseph Crosby; six sisters and four brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010 ,at Sacred Heart Parish, Appleton. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the hour of Mass at the church.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at Oakridge Gardens for their loving care. Her caregivers showed the family how special their mom was to them and now the family would like them to know how special they are to her family.

    To our grandmother:

    Our time with your

    Will never be forgotten.

    God will keep you safe

    And we will keep your

    Memory in our hearts.

    Love always,

    Rick, Bob, Mike and Angela
