    He is survived by his wife, Stella (Froze) Deleeuw two daughters: Judi (Gary) Knuth, Green Bay Stephanie (David) Weiss, Appleton seven grandchildren nine great-grandchildren a brother, Bud (Joan) Deleeuw, Menasha six sisters: Katie Van Beek, Mary Deeg, Patricia (Jim) Vande Hey, all of Kimberly Margaret Willis, Florida Helen (Robert) Anholzer, Kimberly Audrey Hopfensperger, Florida. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: James, Chris and John. A memorial mass will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2000 at HOLY NAME CATHOLIC CHURCH, Kimberly with the Rev. Daniel Anholzer officiating.     Age 81, passed away at Manor Care Health Services on Tuesday, January 6, 2004. She was born in Niagara, WI on April 23, 1922, daughter of the late Herman and Adeline (Lake) Froze. Stella married Joseph DeLeeuw on January 23, 1954. He preceded her in death on December 27, 2000. Stella graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in Oshkosh and received her nurse anesthetist training in Peoria, IL. She was a nurse anesthetist at Appleton Medical Center and later worked as a critical care nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital from 1968 until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Stella enjoyed knitting sweaters, mittens, hats, and scarves for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    Stella is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (David) Weiss of Appleton; grandchildren: Julie (Travis) Lubinski of New London, Jennifer Misevicz of Fountain, CO, Jamie Misevicz of Neenah, Jon (Melissa) Misevicz of Neenah and Jillianlily Weiss of Appleton; great grandchildren: Brady, Logan, Michael, Oriana, Nikita, Noriah and Nataeo Misevicz; and a close family friend, Joseph Misevicz of Neenah. She is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

    The memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2004, at HOLY NAME OF JESUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Fr. Dave Schmidt officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

  • Note: Menasha, Wisconsin - Andrew M. "Bud" De Leeuw Jr., 87 years, passed away January 8, 2018, at his home in Menasha, Wisconsin. He was born February 25, 1930 to his parents Andrew M. Sr. and Gertrude De Leeuw (Bush) in Kimberly, Wisconsin. He was a graduate of Kimberly High School. "Bud" worked at Banta Corporation where he served as a pressman until he retired in 1992. "Bud" was very active in his community. He coached and officiated many sports. His involvement in The Brigade was endless and rewarding. "Bud" also served the people of Menasha as an Alderman. On October 29, 1950 Andrew M. Jr. and Joan De Leeuw (Stilp) were married.

    "Bud" loved his extended family at The Brigade. He created memories and enjoyed his time with the many lives he touched at Camp Onaway Island in Waupaca, Wisconsin and served as a director at Boys Camp 4. "Bud" achieved many honors at The Brigade where he served on the Board of Directors. He obtained the level of Emeritus Director and received the Shattuck Award.

    "Bud" will be missed by his children Susan De Leeuw, Steven (Peggy) De Leeuw, John (Jane) De Leeuw, Tom (Amber) De Leeuw, Andy (Tami) De Leeuw, and Amy (Dan) Jones, grandchildren David, Dan, Jamie, Nick, Brad, Jessica, Ben, Abbi, Sara, Adam, Megan, Andrew, Cody, Nathanial, Joshua, Samuel, Caleb, Elizabeth, and Samantha, siblings Katie Van Beek, Mary Deeg, Marjorie Willis, Helen (Robert) Anholzer, Pat Vande Hey, and sister-in-law Pat (Robert) Smith. Further survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Preceded in death by his wife, parents, and siblings Jim, John, Chris, Joe, and Audrey.

    A Memorial Mass for "Bud" will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second St., Menasha. Fr. Paul Paider celebrant. Private inurnment St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Family and friends may gather at St. Mary Church, Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 9:00 am until time of Mass.

    Age 74, died Thursday afternoon, November 20, 2003. She was born October 26, 1929, to the late Fred and Ethel (Reich) Stilp, in Menasha, where she was a resident all of her life. Joan graduated from St. Mary Catholic High School in 1947 and had been employed by Intertape Polymer Group (Central Products), retiring in 1991. She enjoyed spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, knitting and reading. Joan was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha. Survivors include her husband Andrew M. "Bud" DeLeeuw, Jr., to whom she had been married for 53 years; six children, Susan (Jim) Wohlrabe, Fremont; Steven DeLeeuw and his special friend, Peggy, Oshkosh; John (Jane) DeLeeuw, White Bear Lake, MN; Tom (Betsy) DeLeeuw, Neenah; Andy (Tami) DeLeeuw, Holmen, WI; Amy (Dan) Jones, Menasha; 18 grandchildren, David, Dan, Jamie, Nicholas, Brad, Jessica, Ben, Abbi, Sara, Adam, Meghan, Andrew, Cody, Nathaniel, Joshua, Caleb, Elizabeth and Samantha; 7 great grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, John, Rose, Taylor, McKenzee and Kendal; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia (Robert) Smith, Knapp, WI. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Katie VanBeek, Mary Deeg, Helen Anholzer, Pat VanDeHey, all of Kimberly; Audrey Hopfensperger and Margaret Willis, both of Orlando, FL. She was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline Bodway. A memorial service for Joan will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 29, 2003, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 212 Appleton Street, Menasha, with Father Paul Radetski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 am, Saturday until the time of the mass. Memorial funds have been established for St. Mary Catholic Church and the Boys and Girls Brigade of Neenah/Menasha.

  • Note: Mary Deeg, age 92, of Kimberly, passed away at Atrium Post Acute Care Facility in Appleton, on Sunday, June 12, 2016. Mary was born on June 28, 1928, in Kimberly, to the late Andrew and Gertrude (Busch) DeLeeuw. On June 10, 1944, she married Earl Deeg; he preceded her in death on September 8, 1998.

    Mary's first love was her family. She always made time to attend the many scheduled family events. Mary was passionate about sports, which included the Packers, Brewers, Orlando Twins and especially Kimberly basketball. A good game of Sheepshead with her card club friends was a must. She loved to travel with her husband Earl "Honey" and made many trips to Florida to visit family, as well as Saginaw, Michigan, to visit Fr. Dan Anholzer, her nephew. Mary was also a member of the Kimberly American Legion Auxiliary, Post #60.

    Survivors include her son, David (Katie) Deeg, Kimberly; her son-in-law, Ken Kempen, Weyauwega; grandchildren, Tammy (Tim) Fink, Trevor (Shannon) Helms, Jennifer (Mike) Biese, Kristine Deeg, Andrea (Travis) Feldkamp, Nicole Schuh, Stacy Hill and David (Becky) Deeg, Jr. She is further survived by 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie Van Beek, Margaret Willis, Helen Anholzer, Pat (Jim) Vandehey and Audrey Hopfensperger; a brother, Andrew "Bud" DeLeeuw; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Kempen; grandson, Eric Helm; brothers John, Joe, Chris and James DeLeeuw, and their spouses.

    The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH—KIMBERLY SITE, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, Wisconsin, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Friends may call at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home, 204 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. There will be a Vigil Service on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Name Catholic Church Cemetery, Kimberly. A memorial has been established in her name.     Robert Elmer Anholzer, age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2009. He was born in Appleton on April 23, 1925, the son of the late Elmer Anholzer and Mary (Grosser) Anholzer Dolven. At the end of his senior year of high school, Bob was drafted in the Navy. He served in two theatres during World War II and was present during the signing of the treaty finalizing the surrender of Japan. After his honorable service, he married his loving wife, Helen De Leeuw, in Kimberly at Holy Name Catholic Church. Bob enjoyed fishing, gardening, tending to his beautiful flower beds and spending time with family at their cottage on Lake Metonga. Bob worked for Banta Corporation for 20 years until his retirement in April of 1987. Bob loved volunteering with House of Peace for numerous years delivering gifts for children that had been collected from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton and Holy Spirit Parish in Kimberly.

    Bob is lovingly survived by his wife, Helen Anholzer of Kimberly; children: Fr. Dan Anholzer OFM CAP, Saginaw, Michigan; Tom Anholzer and his special friend, Linda Vaughan, Hortonville; Gary (Mary) Anholzer, Quinney; Karen (Fred) Stumpf, Darboy; Frida (Lee) Adrian, Darboy; grandchildren: Danielle (Kevin) Santry, Cole Anholzer and his fiancee, Savannah Bradley, Olivia, Helena and Eric Stumpf, Jason, Vanessa and her fiance, Brandon Bennett and Marissa Adrian; great-grandson, Mason Santry; brother, John Anholzer; sisters: Phyllis Goehler, Helen (Bob) Young; brother-in-law, Andrew "Bud" De Leeuw Jr; sisters-in-law: Katie Van Beek, Mary Deeg, Margaret Willis, Pat (Jim) Vandehey, Audrey Hopfensperger and numerous nieces, nephews and his special dog, Cha-cha.

    Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Bill (Della) Anholzer, sister, Rita Anholzer, special uncle, George (Carrie) Anholzer; special aunts: Ethel and Irene Anholzer; father and mother-in-law, Andrew (Gertrude) De Leeuw; brothers-in-law: Mike Goehler, John (Vi) De Leeuw, Chris (Adeline) De Leeuw, Joe (Stella) De Leeuw, Jim De Leeuw, Orville Hoppe and John Van Beek, Earl Deeg, Bob Willis, Bill Hopfensperger and sisters-in-law, Joan Anholzer and Joan De Leeuw.

Dan Fox, OFM CAP officiating. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2009, at the Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with a prayer service being held at 7 p.m. and visitation also held again on Tuesday at Holy Spirit Parish from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
