    Age 71, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at Four Seasons Hospice Elizabeth House. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin son of the late Ernest and Adeline (Duce) Coenen, and lived in Wisconsin most of his life. He was transferred to Hendersonville in 1983 with Daniels Packaging Company, where he was the company controller. Following his retirement with Daniels Packaging, he worked with Coldwell Banker-Hill and Associates for many years as a real estate broker. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Catholic War Veterans. He also had a passion for golf and was a member of the Hendersonville Country Club. RJ is survived by his wife, Cecelia (Sis) Coenen three sons: Douglas Coenen, Germantown Joe Coenen and his special friend, Nicole Mangent, Rhinelander John Coenen and his wife, Jane, Hortonville two daughters: Paddi Coenen, Menasha Kelly Coenen Hoppe and her husband, Mike, Rhinelander two step-daughters: Holly Pedersen Nitke and her husband, Brett, Little Chute Penny Pedersen Pankow and her husband, Andrew, Ketchikan, Alaska a stepson, Chip Pedersen and his wife, Ann, North Bend, Washington two brothers: Allen Coenen and his wife, Ellen, Land O'Lakes James Coenen and his wife, Rose, Schofield three sisters: Marian Gambsky, Hortonville Arlene Netzel and her husband, Don, Neenah Carol Kargus and her husband, Chuck, Menasha 15 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

    Funeral Mass will be Saturday, March 29, 2003 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton with the Rev. Michael O'Rourke officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church, 312 S. State St., Appleton from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass. The Thos. Shepherd & Son Funeral Home of Hendersonville, NC and the Wieting Funeral Home of Brillion, Wisconsin are assisting the family with arrangements.In appreciation of the love and care extended to RJ and his family, memorials may be made, in lieu of flowers to Four Seasons Hospice Elizabeth House, 511 S.     Arlene L. Netzel, 81, Neenah, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2014. She was born March 15, 1933, in Appleton, daughter of Earnest and Adeline (Duce) Coenen. Arlene married to Donald Netzel April 13, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Arlene was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Neenah. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse for Theda Clark Medical Center and St. Agnes Hospital for many years. Arlene's love and joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    Arlene is survived by her 4 children: Dan (Barbara) Netzel, De Forest; Betsy (Jack) Borchert, Neenah; Ellen (James) Sprague, Fremont; Marty (Pamela) Netzel, Rochester, MN; 9 grandchildren: Jill and Eric Netzel; Ninah Netzel; Jeff, Joe (Katie) and Jake (Kristy) Borchert; Karissa Metko; Andrew and Lauren Netzel; 3 great grandchildren: Kenadie, Keira and Rylie Borchert; brothers and sister: Allan (Ellen) Coenen, James (Rosie) Coenen and Marion Gambsky; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Don; son, Michael; parents; a brother, Ralph Coenen; and a sister, Carol Kargus.

    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2014, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1228 S. Park Ave., Neenah, with Rev. Ricky P. Schroeder officiating. Interment will be in Clayton Cemetery, Town of Clayton. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Peace Lutheran Church would be appreciated.

    Carol Jean Kargus, age 66, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 30, 2003, with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born on October 12, 1936, to the late Ernest and Adeline (Duce) Coenen. She graduated from Appleton West High School in 1953. Carol was employed by Atlas Tag & Label for 17 years before retiring. She married Eugene ''Chuck'' Kargus on October 8, 1960; they enjoyed 42 years of wedded bliss. She is survived by her husband, Chuck; her sons, Jeffery Kellett, Brad (Patricia) Kellett, Donald (Bernie) Kellett, Gregory (Michelle) Kargus; her stepchildren, Jeffrey Kargus, Bradley (Debbie) Kargus and Kathryn Pobuda; her fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers, Allan (Ellen) Coenen and James (Rosie) Coenen; her sisters, Arlene (Donald) Netzel and Marion Gambsky; her sisters-in-law, Janice Kargus, Patricia Kargus, Darlene Thein and Sis Coenen. She was preceded in death by her son Kurt Kargus, her granddaughter Erin Kellett, her brother Ralph Coenen, her first husband Robert Kellett, her in-laws Harry and Leona Kargus and Robert and Myrtle Kellett, her brothers-in-law Vernon and Robert Kargus, Gordy Gambsky, and her sisters-in-laws Arlene Kargus and Joan Coenen. It was Carol's wish that there be no funeral services. The family would like to express their gratitude to Affinity Hospice, the Oncology floor at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Dr. Rob Geller and his entire staff (especially Carol and Norean), for their loving care. He was born June 8, 1930, in Wausau son of the late Marvin and Martha (Reinke) Netzel. Donald married Arlene L. Coenen April 13, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Donald was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Neenah. He was employed as an advertising salesman until his retirement from Theda Clark Medical Center. Donald was a Korean War veteran, having served with the U.S. Air Force. Donald's love and joy was being with Arlene and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Earl "Bud" Netzel; sister, Bernice (Perry) Pinkley; brother-in-law, Ralph (Sis) Coenen; sister-in-law, Carol (Chuck) Kargus.

    Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1228 S. Park Ave., Neenah with Rev. Ricky P. Schroeder officiating. Following the service interment will be in Clayton Cemetery, Town of Clayton, where full military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force and a local legion. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Donald's name.

He was welcomed into heaven by his parents, sister, brothers, two Angel sons, Kurt Kargus and Wayne Graves, and many other family members and friends.

    He is survived by his loving wife, Sharlene Kargus, children, Jeffrey Kargus, Kathryn (Jeffrey Ekstrand) Pobuda, Bradley (Debra) Kargus, Gregory Kargus, stepchildren, Jeffrey Kellett, Bradley (Patricia) Kellett, Donald (Bernie) Kellett, Tammy (Steven) Ammeter, Venitta (Bruce) Parrotte, Melinda McMillan, Edmund Graves Jr., and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Theda Clark Regional Hospital, AMC and Hospice for the wonderful care he received while hospitalized. His wishes were to have his family celebrate his life privately.
