  • Note: Gary J. Noffke, age 65, of Poygan, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at his home. He was born April 14, 1947, in Neenah to the late Clarence and Lucille (Birling) Noffke. Gary was a 1965 graduate of Menasha High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. Gary operated the Herbst Landing Bait Shop on Lake Poygan. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting.

    Gary is survived by his brothers and sisters, Wayne (Kelly), of Menasha; Lee (Nancy), of Land-O-Lakes; Pat (Tom) Makofski, of Menasha; Dan (Deb), of Omro; Kay Stuart, of Oshkosh; Nathan (special friend, Deb Hish), of Poygan; Bruce (Beth), of Poygan; Judy (Ron) Strebelinski, of Berlin; Tim (Kathy), of Larsen; Vaughn (Tami), of Poygan; Sheri Jo (Tom) Posselt; of Lakewood; sister-in-law, Barb Noffke, of Poygan; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    Along with his parents, Gary was also preceded in death by one brother, Ron; a nephew, Darrin Noffke; and two nieces, Michelle Makofski and Vanessa Stuart.

    A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne with Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery, Poygan, on Saturday, March 23. A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

    Noffke, Ronald Richard Ronald Richard Noffke, age 56, of the Town of Poygan, died Monday, November 21, 2005, at Northpoint Medical and Rehab in Oshkosh. He was born in Menasha, Wisconsin on December 11, 1948, to Clarence and Lucille (Birling) Noffke. Ron was a 1967 graduate of Menasha High School. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army Reserve for six years. Ron was employed as a general contractor by trade. He married Barbara Eiden on June 29, 1968 in Menasha and they made their home on Lake Poygan their entire married lifetime. Ron enjoyed catching and smoking fish and all other game. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne. Ron is survived by his wife, Barbara Noffke, of the Town of Poygan; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Jesse and Tracy Noffke, Travis and Brenda Noffke, and Luke Noffke and special friend, Aaron Jolin, all of the Town of Poygan; his mother, Lucille Noffke, of the Town of Poygan; three grandchildren, Brienna, Darrin, and Dawson; brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Kelly Noffke, of Menasha; Lee and Nancy Noffke, of Land-O-Lakes, Wisconsin; Pat and Tom Makofski, of Menasha; Dan and Deb Noffke, of Omro; Gary Noffke; Ron and Barb Noffke, Kay Meyerhofer, Nathan Noffke, Bruce and Beth Noffke, all of the Town of Poygan; Judy and Ron Strebelinski, of Berlin; Tim and Kathy Noffke, of Larsen; Vaughn and Tami Noffke, and Sheri Jo and Tom Posselt, all of the Town of Poygan; and many nieces, nephews, and many friends. Ron was preceded in death by a son, Darrin Noffke; his father, Clarence Noffke; and his grandparents. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 25, 2005, at 7 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 210 Pleasant Drive, Winneconne, with Rev. David Belongea officiating.     Age 88, died on Sunday, September 12, 2004 at the Franciscan Care Center. Edna was born in Polar, Wisconsin, on November 28, 1915, daughter of the late William and Lena (Hose) Brandt. She married Carl Zuelzke; he preceded her in death in June, 1974. Edna married Harvey Hartjes; he preceded her in death in October, 1995. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Joe) Bushman; her son, Donald (Maxine) Zuelzke; step-children, Donna (Ronald) Holz; Glen Hartjes; her sisters, Helen Roehl; Vera Delain; Arlene Stowasser; sister-in-law, Sandy Brandt; grandchildren: Joseph, Jr. (Debbie) Bushman; Constance (Jay) Johnson; Cindy (Mark) Wheeler; Patrick (Christine) Bushman; Cheri (Kevin) Halvorson; Carrie (Greg) Tomasik; Terri (Randy) Behnke; Carla (Dennis) Fulcer; Randy (Julaine) Zuelzke; Paula (Mike) Derleth; 28 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Edna was preceded in death by her infant son, Robert; sisters: Grace Brandt; Margaret (Marvin) Beyer; Delorse (Tom) Schulz; brothers: Herbert and Edwin Brandt and William Brandt, Jr; and grandson, Daniel Bushman. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 209 South Allen Street, Appleton, with Rev. Kurt and Rev. Mary Beth Kovanen officiating. Visitors will be received at the church on Wednesday, September 15 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. The interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. As an expression of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
