  • Note: Wayne R. Braun, of Neenah, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday. January 8, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1929 in Milwaukee, son of the late Robert and Jeanne (Trader) Braun.

    Wayne graduated from Neenah High School. He then served for several years in the National Guard. Wayne was an Electrician and he owned and operated Master Electric with his dad and brother.

    Wayne loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He really enjoyed going to his property in Wautoma, deer hunting and woodworking.

    Wayne was loved and he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his four children: Michael (Jayne) Braun, David Braun and his significant other, Cindy Laux, Dianne Seidl, Robert Braun; six grandchildren: Christopher Braun, Jeremy (Carrie) Braun, Nicholas Braun, Tonya Braun, Dalton Braun, Janet Seidl; his longtime companion, Judith Hartzheim; three sisters: Nancy Thurow, Faye Peterson, Anita Tittel; and the mother of his children, Elaine Braun.

    Wayne was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley.

    A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 12, 2015, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

  • Death: He died on September 27, 2012, at age 55, in Neenah, Winnebago Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Randy J. Schuh, Sr., age 55, of Larsen, died Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, surrounded by his family.

    He was born May 18, 1957, in Appleton to the late Frank, Sr. and Beatrice (Beschta) Schuh. Randy attended Oshkosh schools. On August 24, 1991, he married the love of his life, Laurie Immel, in Oshkosh. Randy worked for Leach Company before starting his own business. For the past 10 years he has been the proud owner/operator of Schuh Tree Service LLC. Randy was a hard-working, big-hearted man who would help anyone in need. He was tough as nails and an "Army of one." Randy was a joke teller who liked to have a good time with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, wildlife, and the outdoors, especially his cabin by Eagle River.

    Randy is survived by his wife, Laurie Schuh, of Larsen; four children, Jenny (Brian) Boese, Jamie (Mark) Lambert, Randy "Little Randy" Schuh, Jr. (fiancée, Lisa), Julie "June Bug" Schuh (special friend, Darrel), all of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Nichole, Ashley, Bryanna, Logan, Morgan, Mason, and one on the way. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Pat Zehren, Gary Schuh, Judy (Hank) Van Cuick, John (Linda) Schuh, Dan (Lois) Schuh, Rick (Debbie) Schuh, and Charlie "Chuck" Schuh; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Along with his parents, Randy was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers, Karen, Frank R., infant brother, Frank, Jr., and Cindy.

    A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, with Fr. Ralph Osborne officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

    Noffke (Birling), Lucille Rose
    On Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, Lucille Rose (Birling) Noffke, 88, Town of Poygan, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Menasha, Wis., on April 13, 1919, to the late Henry and Matie (Mielke) Birling. On Sept. 23, 1939, Lucille married Clarence A. Noffke and they resided in Menasha until 1970, at which time they moved to the Town of Poygan. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne. In spite of her own illnesses and constant pain, Lucille devoted her life to her family.

    Lucille and Clarence had 13 children and she is survived by 12, Wayne (Kelly), Mena-sha; Lee (Nancy), Land-O-Lakes, Wis.; Pat (Tom) Makofski, Menasha; Dan (Deb), Omro; Gary, Poygan; Kay Stuart, Oshkosh; Nathan, Bruce (Beth), all of Poygan; Judy (Ron) Strebelinski, Berlin; Tim (Kathy), Larsen; Vaughn (Tami), Sheri Jo (Tom) Posselt, all of Poygan; daughter-in-law, Barb Noffke, Poygan; a special friend, Kathy Noffke, Poygan. Lucille was the loving grandmother of 42 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Ted Birling, Clintonville; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who were dear to her heart.

    Along with her parents, Lucille was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, on Sept. 13, 2004; one son, Ron; three grandchildren, Darrin Noffke, Michelle Makofski and Vanessa Stuart; two sisters, Annabell Sprangers and Agnes Ahlquist; and one brother, Henry Howard, in infancy.

    The Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 210 Pleasant Drive, Winneconne, with the Rev. Carl Schmitt and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Burial to follow in the St. Thomas Cemetery in the Town of Poygan. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10:30 a.m.

    As the sun shines and the birds sing, our mother will always be there.
