    David Theodore Piepkorn

    David Theodore Piepkorn 'Popcorn' age 58, of Little Chute died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Appleton Medical Center, Appleton. He was born June 13, 1946 in Little Chute son of Milton and Marian [Lamers] Piepkorn. David married Jean Terry on July 22, 1972. David was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Combined Locks. He was employed at Mille Electric until his retirement. He enjoyed Nascar races, fishing, reading and working with computers. David was a proud member of the United States Navy having served in the Vietnam War, and a was a member of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258, Little Chute and an officier of Voyager 1140 40 et 8, Outagamie County. David was the first Vietnam Veteran to be the commander of the Jacob Coppus American Legion. His love was his family.

    David is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Craig Piepkorn and his fiancee, Beth Guyette, Appleton; Lance Piepkorn, Little Chute; his mother, Marian Piepkorn, Little Chute; two sisters; Darlene [Fred] Proveaux, Phoenix, Arizona; Diane Piepkorn, Neenah; a brother, Dennis [Peg] Piepkorn, Suring; mother in-law, Rosella Terry, Kaukauna; brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Roberth [Judy] Wirth, Appleton; Daniel [Barbara] Terry, Appleton; William [Cynthia] Terry, Kaukauna; Patrick Terry, Combined Locks; nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by a son Jeremy; his father, Milton 'Bud' Piepkorn and father in-law, Stephen Terry.

    Funeral services will at 1 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2004 at Christ the King Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bill Schroeder officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service. Military rites will be conducted by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post following the funeral.

  • Note: William J. "Bill" Terry, 70, Kaukauna, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on October 27, 2013 after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. Bill was born on May 15, 1943 in Kaukauna to Stephen L. and Rosella (Van Densen) Terry. After graduating from Kaukauna High School in 1961, Bill served his country as a member of the United States Navy, returning home in 1965. On July 23, 1966 he married the former Cynthia "Cindy" Smith and together they had four children. Bill was employed with Thilmany Pulp and Paper for 35 years until he retired in 2005. Bill was an avid golfer and loved playing golf with his brother-in-law Ken Smith, his son Stephen, as well as many nephews and his niece. Bill enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sporting events and many school functions. Bill enjoyed traveling with his wife Cindy and especially liked their trips to Canada and Tempe, Arizona for the Brewers Training Camp. In his later years, he enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and spending time with his grandchildren.

    Bill is survived by his wife Cindy; children: Sharon (Shane) Laux, Robin Rettke, and Stephen (Mary) Terry; grandchildren Tucker Laux; Dylan Rettke and Kendra Rettke; Samantha Seefeldt, William Terry, Nicholas Terry, Vincent Terry, and Taylor Freeman; and Sean's children; Jazzmine Terry, Cody Terry, Dominick Terry, and Michael; brothers and sisters: Judy (Robert) Wirth, Daniel (Barbara) Terry, Patrick Terry and Jean Piepkorn as well as Cindy's surviving family and many other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Sean Terry, and brother-in-law David Piepkorn.

    There will be a funeral service for Bill on Thursday October 31, 2013 at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 Highway 10-114, Menasha at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 11:00 am to the time of the service. Interment at Union Cemetery of Kaukauna will be at a later date.     Age 60 died peacefully Monday, February 26, 1996 at her home with her family at her side. She was born November 28, 1935 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Johanna (Stienen) Ulrich. Shirley enjoyed gardening, having a special love for flowers. She also enjoyed Crocheting caring for the elderly, andspending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy and past president of the St. Anne Society.

    Survivors include her husband of the past eighteen years, Harvey, Kaukauna;her step children and spouses; Daniel and Dawn Stumpf, Steven and Debra Stumpf, Anthony J. Stumpf, Thomas and Carol Stumpf, Margaret and Kevin Krammer, Leo and Julia Stumpf, Andrew Stumpf, all of Town of Menasha; AnneZomora, Mary Stumpf, both of Kimberly; Susan and Philip Behling, Appleton; Frank and Debra Stumpf, NY, Sara Stumpf, at home; 21 grandchildren; Joseph,Chet, Christinia, Jennifer, Daniel Jr., Alaina Stumpf, Brooklyn Mader, Bret and Madelyn Stumpf, Clinton and Brittany Stumpf, Bridget and Jacob Krammer, Benjamin, Alexander and Maggie Jo Stumpf, Sesame and Liza Zamora, Bryce, Adam and Janna Behlings. A brother and a sister in-law, Robert and Louise Ulrich, Appleton; two sisters and brothersin-law; Dorothy and Robert Klein, Ca;Margaret and Ray Van Handel, Little Chute; numerous nieces and nephew, aspecial friend, Cathy Driessen, Kimberly.

    She was preceded in death by a step son in infancy, Timothy; a brother, Kenneth; and her mother and father in-law; Joseph and Isabell Stumpf.

    Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy with Fr. Donald Fuller officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of service. He was born October 6, 1974, son of Gary and Margo (Browne) Schinke. Timothy was employed by Appleton Papers for the past 13 years. He was a member of the East Shore Riders Bicycle Club, the Fat Tire Club, and was an avid Brewers fan. He enjoyed going to the Combined Locks Memorial Park to watch ball games. Timmy was a very loving husband, dad, son, brother, and a friend to many. His sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.

    He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Sara; their 3 children: Henry, Isabel, and Greta; his parents, Gary and Margo Schinke; 2 brothers: Bradley (Sheila) and Jonathan (special friend Jessica Bryant); brothers-in-law: Dan (Dawn) Stumpf, Steve (Deborah) Stumpf, Tony Stumpf, Frank (Deborah) Stumpf, Tom (Carol) Stumpf, Leo (Julia) Stumpf, and Andy Stumpf; sisters-in-law: Anne Zamora, Sue (Phil) Behling, Mary (Brian) Delforge, and Marge (Kevin) Kramer; aunts and uncles: Barb DeWitt, Ernie (Rosie) Schinke, Sandy (Rick) Vandenberg, Paula (Richard) McKendry, Pamela (Chip) Retson, Nancy (Bill) Guerrieri, Betsy (Jeff) Besaw, and Kari (Mark) Gallegos. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

    He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Harvey Stumpf, mother-in-law, Theresa Stumpf; step mother-in-law, Shirley Stumpf, grandparents: Ernie and Marge Schinke and George and Kiki Browne; and a brother-in-law, Timothy Stumpf.

    The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace Street, Combined Locks with Fr. Andrew Kysely and Fr. Walter Stumpf concelebrating. Friends will be received directly at church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.     Daniel J. (Red) Van Linn, a lifelong resident of this area, died Thursday, September 13, at a Green Bay Hospital. He was 68.

    He was born February 7, 1911, in Combined Locks, and had been employed at the Combined Locks Paper Company for 47 years, prior to his retirement in 1973.

    Mr. Van Linn is survived by his wife, Ann Pangonis Van Linn; two brothers, Ray and Eugene, both of Neenah; two sisters, Mrs. Woodrow (Elizabeth) Heilman of Kaukauna, and Mrs. Robert (Veronica) Hoffman of Milwaukee; and dearly beloved nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mark Schommer officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

    Pallbearers were William, Robert and John Heilman, James Van Linn, Sylvester Vanden Heuvel, and Joseph Gertz.

    The Greenwood Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
